  3. Don't know who has J-Live's new album "then what happened" but the first track "1 to 31" is produced by jazzy jeff and its bloody brilliant. :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom: It's basically all about j-live's life and his father and jeff is cutting in different samples :wickedwisdom:
  4. Kel Spencer wrote that! :stickpoke:
  5. Memento was genius :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom: Nolan and Del Toro are prob my 2 fav directors at the moment

  7. This is the movie of the summer.. Del Toro = Genius :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom: http://rottentomatoes.com/m/hellboy_2_the_golden_army/ One of the most purely enjoyable--not to mention dazzling--comic book blockbusters to come along this summer Hellboy II doesn’t have much on its mind, but few will care, since del Toro and his stellar Pan’s Labyrinth team, including Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro, stage one virtuoso set piece after another. Words don't really do justice in attempting to describe the wondrous array of misfits and monsters Guillermo del Toro has concocted in Hellboy II: The Golden Army. del Toro] has an endlessly inventive imagination, and understands how legends work, why they entertain us and that they sometimes stand for something. For love, for example.

  12. Naaa SilverTiger was the man who kept going on about Kel back on the Will Smith board.. in fact I think he was the first to get "the streets that know that" ep.. Kel doesn't even care about Chris or know who he is so I can see why you don't remember..
  13. I enjoyed the second half of the movie more than the first. I'm waiting for the directors cut because theres 30 minutes of drama missing from this version of the movie. I would have liked to know more about Will and Charlize's characters and backstory.
  14. Yeah its an odd match..but it works!

  18. I've always wondered what happened to Hula & K. Fingers.. well I may actually have a lead... http://www.ballerstatus.com/article/features/2005/02/0689/ Juice: New Beginnings Published: Wednesday - February 16, 2005 Words by Ruben Diaz Juice MC Juice is no longer. The MC known for engaging in the now-legendary verbal joust with MC Supernatural is no longer. The MC known for his upper-echelon off the top of the dome rhyming skills is no longer. The MC who beat Eminem in a battle in 1997, is no longer. Juice knocked the MC off his name (though he isn't any less of an emcee) and is back on the scene to build a new legacy, with his music, not his battling. yadda yadda BallerStatus.com: Have you done ghost-writing for any artists? Juice: When I first moved back to Chicago from L.A., I began working with Clubhouse Entertainment. I was part of a writing team that produced "Summertime" by Will Smith, "The Kissing Game" by High Five, "Pass the Toilet Paper" by OutHere Brothers. I would freestyle in the booth and if there were any hot lines to be used, they would use 'em. I didn't really understand publishing at the time and didn't really care because those cats kind of took me in. We got sued by Kool and the Gang for the sample and nobody made money. It let me know that I had what it took to be a writer though. I am still working with the producer of "Summertime" (K Fingers aka AZZA). Everyone in Chicago knows he's still my guy. We just wrote and produced an album for a new artist, and I'm re-writing "Summertime" for him (He's a shorty, so we think it could work again). We'll see.
  19. This mixtape reminds me of how good the roots were and how things literally fell apart since that album. Malik B and Black thought going back and forth was the roots and losing malik b they really lost a lot and the complete abandonment of jazz music didn't help either.. Anyway for your enjoyment Things Fallen Apart mixed by Jazzy Jeff https://www.yousendit.com/download/TTdHSkhldzhoeWJIRGc9PQ
  20. Damn I'm listening to this again and its bloody good So much better than I remembered. Jeff actually mixes in a lot of older roots tracks which I didn't remember. Uploading now, so I'll post it shortly.
