Having focused on his acting career for some time now, Smith is ready to return to music. "Lost and Found," his first album in more than two years, is due March 29. It features collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Kanye West, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige and his old friend Jazzy Jeff. ("Switch," the first single, was released Feb. 1.) He describes the new album as a "snapshot of my life."
"It's the most in-depth, revealing writing that I've done in my career," he adds.
While not completely abandoning movies (he's producing and starring in a rags-to-riches story called "Pursuit of Happyness"), Smith wants to concentrate on his music for the next six to eight months. He plans to embark on a worldwide tour, with Pinkett Smith and her band likely serving as the opening act - making it a true family affair.
