  1. great movie slumdog millionaire.. Thats real interesting he was at the hancock premiere ha!
  2. The production budget doesn't include marketing costs etc which would be close to 40 million.. I doubt Sony would have made any money from this
  3. I'm sure they didn't think it was cool...
  4. Kbs on the will smith podcast episode 6! Which has over 10,000 downloads.. Good to see you here again man
  5. I think Will's greatest strength is his ability to entertain, his amazing charisma.. The chemistry he can generate with his co-stars (Martin Lawrence, Tommy Lee Jones) He's basically forgotten to entertain lately or doesn't want to.. He certainly isn't playing to his strengths..
  6. Miss Ash on point again! Janis :welcome4: We are all waiting for Will to find a great movie but he's responsible for the projects hes done lately because hes producing them himslef via Overbrook his own company.
  7. Did you see sean Penn in milk or brad Pitt in Benjamin button or mickey routke in the wrestler? I think you are seeing a different performance.. Some people loved seven pounds and will in it..a lot of people and certainly a high majority of film experts and critics didn't
  8. Could outshine him or it could bring will up to their level.. Look at his work with gene hackmen or stockade channing ian mckellen and donald Sutherland
  9. Well he only got paid 5 million for men in black and look how much Sony made out of that! He probably deserved to get that money for Hancock or even more considering he is the main reason for these movies successes
  10. Well I didn't see any performance that deserved an oscar... If you set out to try and win an oscar you never will.. It's really a by-product of good work.. Will needs to start thinking, I need to work with great producers, great script writers and assemble a really good cast and a great director.. That should be his focus.
  11. I wouldn't call it a flop but I wouldn't call it a success either.. Sony would be disappointed.. Prod budget of 55 mil but 40 million in marketing and they see less than half of the money made from overseas.. Also will does a deal where he gets 20-30% of profits.. So I doubt they'll make much money on this.. I think will is the biggest movie star in the world but his last few movies are Hutton the brand.. It's gonna make it a lot harder for wills next movie to be a big box office hit
  12. Thats a good idea.. who have we got photos of?
  13. He didn't do anything.. Seven Pounds is his worst performed movie since Bagger Vance.. Only 70 million in the US..It may finish with 150 million worldwide but Pursuit of Happyness did 320 million.. I Am Legend did nearly 600 million.. its a long way off from that....
  14. Okay AJ.. I'm thinkin of ya.. Hope you can get through this
  15. jeff's birthday is on thursday.. can anyone think of something cool to do for it?
  16. lets make this next week when i'll actually be able to do it..
  17. This mixtape is bananas!!! may be the best mixtape Jeff's ever done.. well you know i'm gonna love it because 1993 was the greatest year for hip-hop in my opinion.. and Jeff mixing all these 93 tracks is sublime.. back to listening! "U-N-I-T-Y..."!!
  18. does anyone know what happened to jonny and freshfromsofias tell me why videos? i cant find em on youtube.. did they get deleted??? they were over 300,000 views :paperbag:
  19. It's a mix tape jeff did in 1993 the fact that this has resurfaced is awesome !! Damn good!!!
  20. Yeah he could just be saying it to please ppl.. The good thing is everyone asks him about music.. And when he says he has to focus on acting cause he's at his peak and he's talking about seven pounds he sounds pretty silly.. If he did release something and it got a huge response that may get him excited about the music again
