A number of factors: Poor Marketing: Most people who saw the trailer had no idea what the movie was about. Poor Reviews: Movies like Bad Boys II and Hancock are pretty much review proof but if your serious drama that's vying for an Oscar gets 27% on Rotten Tomatoes its not a good sign. Subject Matter: People probably aren't used to Will playing this sort of character or the somber tone in the movie Previous movies: Those who were disappointed in I Am Legend and Hancock may have thought twice about rushing out to see the latest Will Smith movie. Nothing other than Will to grab you: Not a well known director or producer and no other big name cast members to draw people in.

Its a pretty good album..some funny tracks.. and Jeff produces the opener. I'd say up to about track 8 its a 5 mic album but then it fades away pretty quickly after that..

Will has forgotten how to entertain..his greatest strength.. If he keeps going along this path people will just stop going to see his movies

It's on his mind but he's happily dismissing it which just doesn't seem like will.. Even when he retired before he said it was because the rap world was at a stage that he didn't even think he fit in.. But here the two reasons he's given are his ten year old son told him Not to..and his at the peak of his acting powers and he needs to do nothing but movies for the next ten years even though his last three movies I wouldn't call tgemcomplete creative successes

Yeah I agree with you guys.. Will needs to have a little fun and there's no better place to do it then in his music.. The fact that he was about to return to the mic and then didn't makes this all a little heartbreaking

Warner bros has never really given fresh prince the respect it deserves.. There are no special features.. So there's no real reason to buy the DVDs cause the show is replayed on tv so much..the sales haven't been that great.. I've talked to a contact in warner bros and they have no plans to release fpoba in the next year.. It's not looking good.. They wanna release it cheaply or not at all

I can't believe the reason he's not making a new jjfp album is because he is listening to a ten year old.. That is ridiculous!!!!! Also ty couldn't have summer up this situation any better.. I completely agree.
