Its ridiculous that a team can just splash out this kind of money on 2 players. For me, its Real doing what they have been doing for some time now. Buying success. All credit to them, it works, but I just prefer the development side of football more. Much like Arsene Wenger has done/did with Arsenal. Making stars instead of buying them. But thats what football has become, a money game. It's a shame, unless you're a fan of a club with big money, of course. I just hope for Real's sake the results live up to the names. Coz they did get raped by Barca this season :laugh:

Thats true actually, he is a good source to showcase ya skills and I think a lot of artists popularity rises when they've been on his show. He's actually doing big things with Giggs these days too, so he deserves some props for his contributions to the industry. I'd just like to see him using his clout to bring up some newer talent, instead of having his main focus on somewhat already established artists.

He ruined Pimp My Ride UK. I dont like him either, like you said, for a UK DJ he doesnt do much for the up and comers. I dont listen to his radio show much, but when I have it's been filled with already established artists from the US and the occassional already popular UK artists. But, I wouldn't say the majority of UK hip hop is garbage, i'd say the majority of commercially established UK hip hop is garbage. Much like hip hop in general. We have a lot of great emcees out there, and a lot that have had longevity but get overlooked, so not many people have heard of them. I dont think the UK is any different to any other country in terms of quality hip hop, it's just not as popular or as establish at as the US and their rappers are. But yeah, not a fan of Westwood.

I agree. I dont think Ted meant it like that though, I think he meant being consistent even if ya next album isnt as good as ya first. Em's decline was quite big, in my opinion. I think the problem is the way Em's career has gone. If it had worked in reverse and MMLP, SSLP and Infinite we're his most recent albums, we'd be talking about him as being one of the greatest, whose grown immensley over the years. It may just be a case of, he peaked at the wrong time.

Learning from and studying someone doesn't mean you cant end up better than them though, does it? I cant say who is better. I much prefer listening to JJFP/WS, but I do consider Eminem to be more complete when it comes to straight spittin.

Relapse just dropped and Will hasnt put anything out since 2005. It's not that surprising. I don't think that's the reason why Em got 91% of the votes to be honest. I agree with what TD said: "I'm not surprised Will lost to Em nor am I surprised by the outcome. We have an entire generation of people who think Em is the greatest thing rap has ever seen. I'm not saying that he can't spit because he can it's just after the MMLP he's been falling off ever since." I dont disagree with that. However for me, for 4-5 years, he was one of the best things to happen to rap. From Infinite up to MMLP; he put our one of the best catalogues an emcee has ever put out, in my opinion. I agree, he fell of during Eminem Show and is just starting to get his juices back now. Might not be the most popular thing I'm gonna say but, I would have voted Em ahead of Will as well, because I think he's the more complete artist.

Mierda being the Spansih for "sh!t" right? I always thought he was saying "Mira" as in a womans name. Listening to the track again it deinitly sounds like Mierda, weird. Sí, I'm pretty sure he says "Mierda", which means "Sh!t". And after that he says: "Damn you look sexy", LOL! Will curses an awful lot if we're counting "damn" as a curse word LOL I'm still not totaly convinced on the "meirda/mira" thing. Oh well.

Its not part of the verse, its a dub just before the hook. Ya know like DMX when he barks through his tracks? Pull up WMP (or whatever one works) and slow down the track, you'll hear it.

Just before the first chorus he says "Back up bitch". Around the 50 second mark. Its on the I Wish I Made That part btw.

Actually the 90's were probably the most successful era for JJFP/WS in terms of music. Using Dre as an example of a real rapper just added to the already fluid argument.
