My prediction on Ale's response: Changing cooler to sexier still doesnt make it a valid reason for me. Dude, you know me pretty well! :lolsign: Ive had some previous experiences with you're debating methods, wouldnt you say? :lolsign:
-
I think that proves you're taking it more seriously than you let on When you make a comment like "Seven pounds was way worse then www too, but its far too new for him to say it was bad yet"... the reason has to be a bit more than "he wears chaps". It doesnt make you're opinion on 7P or WWW wrong, just dont be surprised when people question it.

Eternal - Stay Underrated group IMO. Sing some of todays groups under the table.

I love how some people say that when they see their argument breaking down. Ok then, I forgive you. My prediction on Ale's response: Changing cooler to sexier still doesnt make it a valid reason for me.

Would you really expect a drama based around a suicidal man to be fast paced and the main character to have the swagga of a multi millionaire superstar? For me, the fact that Ben/Tim doesnt have evidence of the WS swagga proves further how good a performance it was. The 2 films are totally incomparable. Its just about what you like most. Personal tastes doesnt define the quality of the movie. And for BaggerVance. I loved it. The argument for not liking it is usually "its about golf". And if that is the case you seriously missed the point of the movie. Golf is just the catalyst for a much deeper message.

At least get the quote right in the argument... "You can't just ram a man's personal things into some hole like that" Must've been very memorable :stickpoke: Having said that, I did prefer 7P to WWW, but I'd probably watch WWW more often. Its probably the WS movie I have seen the most times, whilst still being the movie I like the least. I cant figure it out why, hit me up if anyone else has an idea.

When Did You Fall In Love With Hip Hop?
Big Willie replied to Turntable's topic in Caught in the Middle
I was 4, it was 1993, Boom Shake The Room was number one in the UK. Probably didnt realise it was hip hop I was listening to at the time, but thats when it started. -
Not a problem.

Bow got his groove back.

The 90's... what a decade. Shame Power Rangers all went downhill when the originals left.

HomeGrown Salutes - 30 Years of Hip Hop
Big Willie replied to Da Brakes's topic in Caught in the Middle
Deep were nice, much better since Dizzie and Tinchy left IMO. Still dont rate them very much though to be honest. Twang was on it as usual. Cheers for this bro :wickedwisdom: -
Congrats bro

Wild Wild West... better than the movie :lolsign:

Whenever I talk about Jason Weaver is always think of I Just Cant Wait to Be King from the Lion King. Class. Yes bruv, I made a thread about Nathan here I think. I honestly believe Do Without My Love would have been a world wide smash if it had been made by anyone else who is known more globally. His vocals on that song were sick. In my opinion he's heaps better than most R n B artists gracing the charts these days. Hope he blows up big because he deserves to. Same with Jason Weaver. We def have the talent in the UK, just need that exposure like Slick Rick got back in the day. It just shows the UK isnt exempt from how hip hop audiences seem to favour the wack. I mean guys like Dizzee are cool and everything, but I wouldn't put the in the same breath as Twang ability wise. It is frustrating when there are emcees out there dropping positivity, like yourself, who struggle to get the proper exposure. But thats who I have more respect for, staying true to who you are whether a deal comes or not. BTW bro, I just searched for 19 Long Time and got a download, I'll hook you up with a link in a second. Still gonnna be searching for a physical copy though. @ Turn: I'm not really a fan of Wiley, a bit to grimey for me. Listening to; Blak Twang - Red Letters

Dude! We have such similar taste in music! I totally agree! You need to check out 'Mystro'. He collaborated with Twang on Half N Half! Have you got his 19 long time album? Right now Macadocious - Don't Hate Me For Being A Dog Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this would have been a great group! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdwpP5Lpi6k I cant find the 19 long time album anywhere, I got the Rotten Club and Kik Off. When Twangs website gets updated imma see if I can cop 19 from that. Yeah, Mystro is nuts. His "Who You Gonna Blame" track is one of my favourite UK hip hop tracks. Love "U Live & U Learn" as well. I'm also really feeling Sway, hes doing a great job repping the UK in America. That "Little Derek" track was so annoying though, but for some strange reason I love it, Baby Blue holding it down for the UK females as well. Macadocious? I remember seeing that episode of Smart Guy and jumping on the PC to see if they we're a real group. Jason Weaver is a very underated artist IMO. Loved his vocals on Chingy - One Call Away. Listening to; Swat ft Lemar - Saturday Night Hustle

Blak Twang - 19 Long Time Best rapper in the UK and one of the most overlooked IMO.
-
Yeah I agree, sounds like Jay doing a Chewbacca impression, or vice versa. Realy feeling the Pharcyde track on the mixtape as well, JJ has a way of making an old song seem so fresh and so different to the original that it sounds like a brand new track. One of my favourite JJ remixes if the BEP Feel It Soulful remix. He made that track seem brand new and the original wasn't even that old. Listening to the Pharcyde remix track now.

DJ Jazzy Jeff Presents - My Fav's
Big Willie replied to KevTastic's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Jess? EDIT: But yeah, it would be cool to see Jeff appearing on albums more often. However, I do like hearing him put his spin on original songs more to be honest. -
DJ Jazzy Jeff Presents - My Fav's
Big Willie replied to KevTastic's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I agree, I enjoyed this mixtape more than any commercialy released tapes Jeff has dropped. The Jigga tracks are dope, Dirty Shoulders is immense, used to love the original lyrically, but the beat annoyed me, Jeff's beat makes it so smooth, and you'd never guess the original was a rough cut, hard ego track. Dope. -
Jay Z - Dirty Shoulders (Jazzy Jeff Remix) From the My Faves tape... cant stop listening to this, so dope. Much better beat than the original IMO.

Wow you're desperate! How about a WWW2 for the same reason?
