  1. JJFP - Summertime just amazing. this truly is a song in forever's time.
  2. Yeah man. If U ever see and/or buy Tupac Ressurrection, or even saw Thug Angel (which as aired on vh1 as a Driven episode), they talk about that. But Tupac won that case (after he died) for his freedom of expression.
  3. I loved every bit of this article. The Fresh Prince is definately in Full Effect.
  4. Wow. Who knows which track that is for. Regardless, it's dope. :thumb:
  5. Even tho it deals wit JJFP somewhat, shouldn't this topic be placed in "Taking It To THe Top", cuz that's where this site is going and their tryna stop us.
  6. hey Lhunagar, how is that remix of Switch? Mobb Deep - B**** A** N**** (Juvenile Hell)
  7. Yeah E-gressy, just look at Tupac wit them kids that claimed after listening to a track, they went to kill a state trooper.
  8. Well, maybe he did write it, but he didnt orignally compose it. Yeah man, if we wanted lyrics from big time artists like 2pac and such, we'd go to a lyrics website.
  9. U could of innocently asked "Who did this song? I don't know who it is." Not really funny, but maybe we need a comedy section in the forum.
  10. Hero1, please don't tell me U fell for that. Yes it was hot. But was it his pen blazin, or somebody from oh uh 14 years ago. well of course it was a joke, why else would he stick his tongue out at us.
  11. Geez. 1st we had the wrath of big willie's tongue, then we had him gun tottin', now we got him creepin' it to Eva's body and freak wit it?!? :scared2: What next?
  12. Oh yeah. Summertime is the jam and will never get old. And AJ, there's nothing wrong wit girls wearin a lil less, as long as they look good. :thumb: "...the guys will dress fly practicin pick-up lines for the girls that look fine in the Summertime"
  13. Maybe U should put the news and stuff in hidden addresses/hyperlinks. But let only members and especially potnas now what's going down wit Will. And in the original news section, have something like "Due to numerous accounts of unauthorized permission to copy our website's news/updates, it will no longer be available without personal contact and credit given to original source."
  14. I'm sure U can figure it out lil Willie. btw, Welcome to the board I guess.
  15. Mobb Deep - Survival of the Fittest (MTV Sample)
  16. Jadakiss is a ridiculous artist. "Why" was obviously fake and just for sales. His voice annoys me a lil too. But what really gets me is that laugh/cough of his. And if anyone wants a lil decent laugh, check this below... That Insult Comic Dog was asked about 50 Cent, about his beefs and being shot 9 times. Trimph: 50 Cent? I'm not impressed. I've been shot eight times: twice for rabies, six times for gonorrhea.
  17. trac - I don't remember. it might have been in chat. But i do remember seeing it. bigted - I disagree. Well for instance, like 2pac's Driven. That was actually just the Thug Angel (which lasted about 3 hours on tv) As much as U and others may wish for a Driven on those select artists, I really don't think they'd do it. I guess it's only for "Today's hottest artists" They did Nelly cuz they felt he was significant in how he came up and how he sold when he first arrived and the multiple hits he's brought. <-- I'm guessing.
  18. Hey y'all, while we're on this gem stuff, does anybody know the name of Main Source's album in which Nas was on for "Live at the Barbecue"?
  19. mimi - not only that, but Eve is from Philly AJ - that may be fine and well, but LOX was a pretty good group when they first arrived. Then things just got too iced-out and such.
  20. Yeah AJ, Mobb Deep definately had some big singles in the 90s. "Shook Ones Pt. 2", "Survival of the Fittest", "Hell On Earth", "Quiet Storm". "Peer Pressure" from their '93 release 'Juvenile Hell (which was their 1st) is a good topic rap. They kinda changed their style up after that.
  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY man. Really hope U enjoy it.
  22. Was never around at that time, but I will say this forum looks and is great.
  23. It's decent for a start out. I really don't see anything wrong with, cuz naturally, U should grow as U write more. And that's depending on serious u take it too.
  24. Hey y'all. I've got a great idea. If U've ever watched VH1, they have a series on tv called "Driven". Well maybe not series, but u kno what I mean. They've done the likes of OUtkast, Nas (which i can't wait to see), LL Cool J, Tyra Banks, Nelly, Ashton Kructher (dude from Punk'd on MTV), Kid Rock, Tupac, and some more. Well, how bout requesting Will Smith? Been in it 20 some years. Look at all his succeess. If it gets requested like the DVD, we're in for some good. I mean, let's say they start on it now. Maybe in the coming months, like a few after 'Lost + Found's been out, it airs. That gets more. (although would be better if it could air before) Will and Jeff are doing promoting in the coming weeks for Lost + Found as Hero1 stated. And I think it'd be better if Jeff was apart of the show (like he was wit some of the 'I Love the 90s: Part Deux'. We'd see some Too Damn Hype faces probably, Charlie Mack, Will's folks, Jeff's folks, Jeff, people that worked wit Will in movies, just endless possibilities. And as Driven says "The people who knew them best". I think it's a really great idea. If not before or even a lil bit after, how about just period? I know they gotta ask "Who should we pick next?" Well, I say, we pick Will Smith next.
