Yes, that's true to. But some people choose to let that be the reason they fail. it's not that people can't do a thing about, they just choose not to. They look and look and look and don't see a way out. They choose to give up looking. OK, kid from the ghetto; can choose to better himself somehow (whatever that may be) trying to get somewhere and it doesn't work enuff. Why is our standards of life like this? Can't really be answered. Failure should never be a choice. Just something that happens as a result of something someone did or did not do.

Yes, but the other side of this after looking at 50 on 'The Sequel'. He doesn't care for his son in any way shape or form. As far as 50 dying, nah. Just go for something more fitting. Like Uncle Phil told Will, I'd say this to 50. "Being a rapper didn't exactly bring out your most indeering qualities" (i think indeering was the word or rendeering) Remember Will's response, "But Uncle Phil, I was gettin paid man". probably the exact response 50 would make. 50 is young and can find out what he wants to do. Ok, u got money from doing that; now use it for something positive that brings out your better qualities. And about not caring, I don't think he meant it in the sense of "not caring". It's be like 'Bill Withers killed in a car accident on I-95 by a drunk driver.' or 'Local Resident shoots at child by mistake'. U can't care about them the same way as someone who was/is close to them. Let's say 50 would die. I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn't be sad either. I'd just make recognition of it and continue on. Otherwise, maybe I'm someone that knows nothing about him or who he is.

Well he gets them from this forum. But we're just to lazy to look thru and pick the crazies

HAPPY BIRTHDAY man. U've been a great new member

Hey guys, quick idea. Since we have been graced with Switch, instrumental, and accapella. How bout if someone makes a remix of Switch, or any other JJFP, Will, or Jeff track, we include it on the album. I think it'd be quite useful. Also, some poems have been thru our site too. Maybe if our poets have mics, they can be interludes to Album.

Now that I'm home, I finally have a chance to check U out. I loved the lil opening. That first sound is dope. Classic for old school hip hop. Lyrics great. Worth a 2nd listen if U don't hear it all. As far as production is concerned, seems like the voice is too far over the beat. I don't think it's something U'd have trouble doing. With hip hop, U can kick it in the studio, or out the studio. Anywhere U please, especially if U got listeners. It's all expression. Anyway, the track is great. U should post the lyrics too.
-
well even if he is, he may not be guaranteed all the studio time he wants. and even so, his recordings aren't perfect. THere a lil "fuzz buzz". Or maybe I'm just not into the voice effects. And my vocals for "Brought Upon A Dream", I wanted to sound like that. Best to my ability. Cuz U know how people get in a dream-state and voices sound reverb-ish. Well that's what I did, or tried to do.
-
Choppy may be the exact word, cuz my process of mixing is. I can't mix the song together all at once. Or even verse by verse. I have to do like a few lines or every so many seconds. (probably a max of 8) Cuz if I do it the regular way, my verses drag and it's off beat.

Yeah 50 is no problem for him! But the track is really annoying and doesn't sound well... :werd: U like the track by 50? Do I like the track? hmm. Well, Nas is my fav. rapper, so the answer is obvious. No I don't like it. I gave it one good listen. (wit the exception of buffering interrupts) I didn't really pay to much attention to all the "disses". But I caught focus when I heard Kelis. 50 really doesn't know what he's saying. I guess he's gonna bully and get people out of this "game" of hip hop that he's playin'. Well, if U ever had a school yard bully, 50 is one of those ones that's not too bright. I doubt he met up wit NaS, so he must of got the Street's Disciple album like any real Nas fan. And in it is a lil double-sided poster. Kelis is in fact on his arm and I was shocked to see it. I really don't think 50 is stirring up trouble for the album. It's just a plus to him.

Don't U think that's going a bit far? 50 choose the wrong path for his life overall. But who am I to say that? Probably should've just been a boxer. Would've been if it was drug dealing, then boxing; and not boxing, then drug dealing, the rapping. After all, Leonard is a fitting name for a boxer. :ali: or Curtis Jackson. U take your pick 50. :hilarious:

U really like those beats? Ugh, from the 2 new songs i've heard, there isn't anything good about the beat. That kinda music isn't even 'produced'...it's 'processed.' I never said I liked them. Just that they were ok for that G-Unit sound that those guys love to make. But I only hear maybe 6 tracks of the Massacre (besides the singles) 50 complained that Dre was more worried about the Game, and didn't get any beats for him. 50 says he's on top and the heavy weight champ of hip hop. So with that in mind, he wants to end people careers who ain't doing anything. Like Murder INC, their so low now, but if he lets them get a little bit back, then they'll wanna fight again. So he just wants to end them now. He even went so far (from what I read) as to say to mess up their way of living. Have them takin outta the houses they "worked" for. That's basically what he said. To be honest, if U have to side with anyone, it's the Game. I can understand 50's way of the hood. But the exact same thing he's critizing of people doing or not doing, it's the exact same thing that is messing him up. One quote I read really stuck out, but I can't remember. (probably in the Piggy Bank article at mtv.com) I only saw the last part of All Eyez on 50 Cent. And he said "I don't need a hot beat to.." do whatever. Wit the bad shape of hip hop's explotation, that's what he needs. 50 said he's up to the same level as Dre and Em now. (cuz before he feared them.) Well if he is, why doesn't he make his own beats if he wants to follow. Dre got Em and produced for him. Em learned, produced for himself. Then got 50, produced for him, and 50's learned (u would think). He can't work like that. 50's got an 18 bedroom house and none of his b****es in there. No son, no nothing. So he's left to your work. 50 wants all his G-Unit members to be under him. A while before, it was 'Lloyd Banks is better than 50 Cent'. Must not of risen too much. Cuz Banks is still in. 50's got 11 mil worldwide wit 'Get Rich' and no ones sold like even addng up together. (all from reading at MTV) Albm comes out tomorrow and I expect nothing different from the usual. It just may be lower than what 50's used to.
-
Well, I heard the supposed Nas diss. "Kelis said her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard Then NaS went and got that b**** tatted on his arm" As far as the beats are concerned, they're an ok G-unit wise wit some of the ones I heard.
-
50 Cent feat. Eminem - Gatman & Robin (The Leak on MTV) well, nice sample of the Batman theme song. I kinda forget how it sounds. I know it's the earlier version.
-
50 Cent - Piggy Bank (on the Leak) Well, he said to NaS "Kelis said her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard Then NaS went and got that b**** tatted on his arm" 50 must have got Nas's new album and saw the poster (which I may add is on my wall) Nas has Kelis topless on his arm. Nas is right, he does need a better opponent.

THis is real good. Hip hop just may be up-lifted sooner than we thought. -
Yo ted, Nas said he's not responding. THe story is closed. He must still be on Columbia or the home of the album doesn't matter.
-
Some song. I don't know what it is yet. :kekeke:

That probably helped permissioned sampling to be in effect.

The Game vs 50 Cent?? Well from 50's comment, he must feel he's the guy on top. Ok Vipa, U got more respect for the Game becuz of this? well where did the start of respect come from? Hype for the next album? How can he? It just came out a couple months ago. And Joe, 50 ain't gettin lyrically bruised cuz Nas said he's not wastin his time. "I need a better opponent." Along wit that he added how hip hop needs an up lift. As far as the Game not being down with G-Unit anymore, maybe he'll rhyme different, but I doubt it.
-
Well, I was watching MTV news cuz I just happen to see 50 Cent. And Nas is amongst those that he disses on Piggy Bank. And Nas's response was "I need a better oponent." He said he was gonna better hip hop during the summer wit his new cd Nas-daq Dow-Jones. He talked about how 14 year olds are looking up to the wrong image. It was just a short clip, but it says a lot.

Dirty Harry - Female Rap Figures uses "Hell On Earth" - Mobb deep and blends verses from FOxy Brown, Da Brat, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, and a few others. Don't recognize them.

Uh.. remember KRS-One y'all? "...thinkin record sales make them the dopest". - Step Into A World but still, u shouldn't really say that. People have off nights U kno? but I don't think Will was having an off night.
