  1. I love dat song. right now... nothin' cuz I readin' some hw.
  2. Of course more Uk-ers r here. Notice how they got Switch before the USA did.
  3. brakes - I figured that. It's just want I'm using. I've tried some of the beat machines, and those just weren't my niche. Cool edit was too slow, and too advanced for me. bigted - yeah, this all I got. But we really should be fortunate to have what we have. My parents got me this computer to benefit me cuz of school work and stuff. It's makes things easier. And if I didn't have it, I wouldn't let that stop me. Hip hop itself did not come up on computer. This genre's sound began, yes wit some electronics, but was an atmosphere of sound in some select areas where it had been exposed. Artists didn't have this stuff. It was all dependent on word of mouf, the drive they had, and speakin loud enuff to be heard by anyone around. Mic or nary of one. Hip hop can go anywhere we wanna take it, so let's keep it and increases it's journey in going positive. joe - not made it big yet? That answer is all on me. iF ever a day I feel like, no one is giving me a chance, ask if I were to be signed today, would I really deserve it? For quite some time the answer is no. But sooner than later, I can get out of it what I put into it. And like Will says "nothing worth having if it's not worth a fight"
  4. Very good news. Not into to rap, but likin' Will Smith. That should tell us something. Do they watch FPOBA too? If they don't know, tell em his history. :thumb:
  5. Sharktale has gotta win. I Robot however I doubt. Probably Spider-man 2. But I loved I Robot. That's a great movie. It really honestly is, even if someone isn't a Will Smith fan.
  6. joe - aight, cool man. kbf - I hope U didn't attract attention to ya-self and get in trouble w/ ya teacher. :kekeke: Glad it's soundin' good to a lot of people.
  7. Thanks man. I've been gettin all these album ideas. After the one that goes wit this song, I wanna try an JJFP/LL type style. (of course wit my own original-ness) and see how that goes over. btw, wit all the support, I'm #65 on the positive vibe charts.
  8. In other words, he said it years ago, and it still hold true today. :thumb: U forgot the one in ya sig Timmy. "But oh wait, whoa y’all forgetting When I was, amateur spitting before the scripts were written"
  9. Man, soundclick must be on it's montly down-sydrome. U'd think that thing was female. (no offense ladies) :kekeke: <---- I think that's the easiest simile I can use.
  10. Yes, that's all fine and well, but that still doesn't help me!! I can't progress without a report. :sonny: jjfp2004 - thanks iceonly - ur opinion not important? We all put an ear out to listen to our fellow JJFP members. btw, nice sig. I'm feelin that.
  11. The Radio that doesn't work for me. Jeez, what am I gonna have to do to listen? :ohnoes:
  12. U kno how it's gonna be 4 discs. I'm sure they'll have extras. I'm just curious if they will be one each DVD relating to the episodes, or they will be on a DVD themselves.
  13. Thanks man. Took me long enuff to record and all.
  14. Dang, I got all nervous sayin to myself "Expect no mercy from Da Brakes." and all I get is a later on? :kekeke:

  19. After 7 "Ready or Not" (the best of 1990 R&B) this group is great.
  20. before FuQ - Brought Upon A Dream. Check it out. new single!!! :thumb: Tony TOni Tone - Feels Good (the best of 1990s R&B)
  21. It's finally here. My version of 'Dreams' u could say. I wrote this on MLK Day too. Click here to hear "Brought Upon A Dream" January 17, 2005 CHORUS I have a dream that one day, real artists will reign Talk about the ups and downs, both the pleasure and pain Status, it won't matter going platnium or gold Won't matter how ya come in if ya new or ya old ...I brought upon a dream (3x) I brought upon a dream that sets standards right for every soul of the earth that loves holdin a mic As rappers, we got goals and voices that's very loud Listening supportive crowds and stances that stay proud for those who need leaders, smartin' up as followers to a place where a scheme for dollars was never needed But believe it, that this reality holds Creative spirits locked away, that's how talent is sold I've had dreams for the moment, quick to plan it Struggled wit varied options and I couldn't manage Done day to day damage, try to prioritize my path, which has never had an easy way to ride Never been up in the VIBE, cuz I didn't subscribe so I could write back bout topics that caught my eye But I've caught the rappers visions, of how they're livin' where sometimes it's real, sometimes it's business Get stuck in between, money by any means Fight against nightmares, so I can live out my (dream) Nary a platnium chain, let my image be clear Stayin' down to earth and truly sincere CHORUS Nobody's believin' that I can achieve Can't depend on my friends like those friends depend on me I kinda don't let them see it, therefore I'll never be it In the back of their mind, my failure is kept secret Regret what I say, and take a new approach today that helps me balance out being strict and being stray Is it the air waves of stations, or sound waves of voices that expand my name in the land as one of the choices that hip hop fans can listen to, I get thru cuz I know how to come, don't beat em down like a drum It's like a one chance audition, there's no more wishin' Pressurin' ya-self as ya own competition Ratha better myself, then destroy someone else cuz it's on me to know, just how I felt after I learned, before the world turned to a new day My ideas refreshed and represented in a new way It was the posters, magazines, and songs wit themes that propelled me everyday to go for a (dream) To write about a (dream) To think about a (dream) Couldn't take it anymore so I (brought U all my dreams) about being artistic, not measured by statistics Like oxygen's colorless, talent is ageless Hip hop was brought up race: African But it can be performed and listened to by any person CHORUS then the end will have a locker door slam and my next track will be "The Locker (Skit)". ---------------------- How's the audio? I listened to it. As far as volume is concerned, I think it's fair. Effects sound ok? I wanted a lil different kind of sound. Almost like in a deep vision type state. Holla back! :cya:
  22. It's on. Eagles and PAtriots next sunday. btw, that PE is not PAtriot Eagles. That PE is not Public Enemy. that PE is Philadelphia Eagles= the 2005 Superbowl Champs. Great rhyme man. Like how U threw in names and records.
  23. 5-10 is the 5 albums. and the 10 is the singles. I don't know.
