All I'll say is don't believe the Hype. Wasn't that said by Public Enemy? Anyway, I neither a hater nor lover of Em.
-
Man, I know it's gotta be hard lending stuff to people. Even if I don't have my stuff in order by date, or from A-Z, I still know what order I put them in. Mostly cuz I like it that way. I never like it when someone messes it up.
-
Well Brakes, ya quite precise wit ya list in order like that. But hey, as long as U find what U wanna watch, it's all good. I don't have many DVDs, but here's what I got... 2pac-4-Ever Bad Boys Biggie & Tupac Chappelle's Show (Season 1) Michael Jordan: To The MAX Tupac Shakur: Before I Wake Tupac Shakur: Thug Angel Tupac Resurrection WWE Shawn Michaels: From The Vault

That's a point to be argued tho. It's a matter of how the lyrics make U feel. That is to be a true statement for a lot of rappers young and old. JJFP and MC Hammer could dance to their stuff. KRS-One and Public Enemy would be leaders of a pack behind them. It doesn't matter, as long as U feel what your doing.

2pac - Lord Knows Me Against The World is such a deep album.
-
Nothing happening. U think this finding a good label is the problem?
-
I remember Snoop or somebody said they respect Em cuz he could run circles around a lot of the rappers in the game. I thought about that again today. I could take Em. And besides Em running in circles would be from whoever it was chasing him.
-
The only way 2 get it free mainly is to put the whole album on soundclick or something like that.
-
Thanks man. I thought it's one of my best to date. Don't matter that U took long. Better 2 know someone as a person, rather than just a listener. The only way y'all could get my album is if I mail it. I'd probably just send it to y'all for free. Cuz the hassle of sendin money is crazy. 2 be honest, I think my 3rd is better than Human Nature. My 3rd wasn't titled. I'll have to put up some of the lyrics. 'Human Nature' was more of an inner album. Untitled was more atmospheric. 'Early Dayz' was just my start of lyrical content. 'Life As It Is' was rough. And it ended up sketched that way. Would U buy it if it was available like that? I'd probably just send it 2 people thru the mail. So if U really want it, we can set something up.

It's doing decent. Nothing extreme. Probably cuz I'm not doing any major promotion. It's been just people around school gettin' it. I probably should promote this album I burned in the summer tho. I think it'z better overall. There's a lot of creditable songs on it. A lot R hits in one way or another. I've already started on my next one like I never made 'Human Nature'. I sold a good solid 10 copies wit no real promotion. But I think a couple more people have it.
-
It be best if they just released the original materials if they would release the stuff at all. A lot of huge Pac fans wanted that 'One Nation' album to be released.
-
Man, that will probably be the the news I watch in the morning tomorrow. Or maybe it was on this morning and I missed it. That's just wrong. Atlanta police R like that. As packed as Airports R, U know there has to be some witnesses who aren't willing to come foward to speak about what they saw and/or heard.

I disagree. If U got the emotions, u can listen to the albums all the way thru. God's Son was probably like LL's album he had to get out after his ? mom ? died. IT was after someone died. Don't remember who. He said he didn't care if it sold, he had to get it out. God's Son was probably like that for Nas. Plus his mom would've wanted him to continue his career wit a strong heart. Stillmatic is the same. I was definately a Nas fan that hyped that album up for people around me. I knew all the lyrics within a month. Stillmatic has more strong songs to stand on than God's Son does. I remember reading (and I think it was on this site) albums use to or should be that any song on it could be the single. Nas's Illmatic, without a doubt is a CLASSIC. Every song could've been a single. Hasn't been the same since. Don't expect it to be. Just to be the best MC he possibly can. From the way it looks, I think he captured some of that back. And brought in some new ones.

Philly Street up in da House! Even Will hypes his album up wit controversy. lol

I think D-12 would have something to say about that also Julie. And I agree about Em's album being the same old. Em's never appealed to me as an album buyer status or someone I purposely try 2 find to listen to. I only got Infinite. And I liked that, but even that I got tired of cuz I listened to it too much. So that's my fault. I watched taht special MTV had on Em. They hyped it up so much, and it was actually nothin. Then a guy I was talkin to about music, felt all bad that he missed it. I told him he didn't miss anything. They show stuff like that day in and day out anyway, so U'll never miss it. And if things feel worse for hip hop, 50 Cent is suppose to make an '8 Mile' like movie about his life. Somethin' and somethin' I think. I can just imagine the "hype". I don't see how people go crazy over this stuff.

Well, I heard "Lovers & Friends". Only cuz my friends wanted me to get it for them, and plus I actually listened to the radio one time. I like the beat, and Usher's part, but Luda wit his "better get these whippins" just turned me off. Jay-Z and R. Kelly thought they were the best in their genre's game. Wit that collab, they were sadly mistaken. The only collab of R.Kelly & Jay-Z I've heard was "All of My Days". that was more of Changing Faces tho, so I don't know. Usher feels he rules the R&B I guess this year. I know there's been artists that have had a rawer and realer sound than he has. But Usher has done his thing 4 what the fans make him out to be. Ludacris is a Dirty South noteworthy. We'll just have to see how this album irons out. Speakin of which, Usher's from down south ain't he?
-
Nah I didn't. I probably should later tho. I don't really like the song too much. Maybe U made it better. We'll see.
-
Hey Tim, I think it's time 2... "Pump pump pump pump it up!!!!!!" I don't remember the TMNT soundtrack song like that. Sounds familiar but I 4get how it sounds.
-
Hey AJ, that '93 soundtrack looks good as far as the name of artists. Ya definately one of the ones that can help me produce THE Ultimate mix cds I'ma have 4 the people. Trust me. But that's all I'm sayin. Make sure U keep 1990-99 on rotational memory 4 me.
-
Hey, but U could be saving a life man. :kekeke: I really want this album. So now I got 2 I wanna get 4 Christmas. Nas & 2pac. That's like the 2nd year this has happened where I got pac and nas. I'm looking foward to hearing the biography he did on Rakim.
-
Thanks a lot for the news. I'm a have to check it out.
-
Hey AJ. How'd U get that song of Pac? His is comin out this December, isn't it?
-
It's ok. The beat was cool. I liked that. The flow was something I'm not use to hearing as much. That's a good thing. Was that U singing? That wasn't bad at all. Sounds like a song to just have fun wit when U let go emotion. Did U use a keyboard that had all kind of sounds on it, or some type of music software? Decent joint.
-
Speakin of Ron Artest, has anybody heard any songs from him? Allen Iverson didn't do much. Just a joke to do that. Same thing wit Roy Jones Jr. "Y'all Must Of Forgot!!" :kekeke: I know there's been some others crossing over like that. Even Rodney Dangerfield. I saw that on VH1. That's ridiculous. Even the Crash Test Dummies. (well, then again, rap was in) And speakin of KRS-One, I mentioned him in my New York (Freestyle)

Well, it'z monday. Look 2 hear from U tomorrow brakes. Then again, make that wednesday. U need a day break from the club or wherever U gonna rock.
