1. When I 1st read this, I thought this was 4 the end of the Jazzy Jeff Fresh Prince forum. I was like, "Oh No!"
2. Talib Kweli feat. Mary J. Blige - I Try Great Anthem. Love the song. DOPE ALBUM. GO GET IT!
3. Random News: The album's progress is great. I think this will be one of my best albums ever. Especially if I make it a double disc.
4. Welcome 2 the board. And El J, welcome back.
5. Calculate their movements, and it'z easily divisible Let mine be seen 2 show how hard I'll work 4 da dream
6. 2 in the morning 2 see this. Aw man. btw, they had Sharktale on VH1 last nite. Around like 11. It was pretty cool. I love the graphics of that movie.
7.
yeah but if i was to call u a knobjockey, i would be saying u were gay, not that there is anything wrong with that, but that would offend some ppl.
Yeah I get what ya sayin. I was just sayin in a technical sense. I would never call a girl a knob jockey. Doesn't sound very romantic. :sonny:
8. Hey Kimmie, I've done the same thing. Right now: "My modem quietly running."
9. Aight. So in other words, u can't do it. I wasn't tryna burn this 4 anyboyd anyway. Just persuade them 2 buy it. The only cds I sell R my own and any underground stuff my bro gives me.
10. Talib said "The Beautiful Struggle" is his most truthful. Soemthing like that. This album will do 4 now. i might get his other ones later, but not right now. I;m hooked 2 this one.
11. I got it. Knob Jockey isn't such a bad thing. It'z just a bad term. I think females R the only knob jockers in th whole world. No offense, but it'z true. i-d-i-o-t has a bad translation 4 knobjockey.
12. Nice job. U'd probably have a 1000 posts, as much as U pm. Just jokin. haha! Nice job. Don't let posting go 2 ya head.
13. Yeah. At least we understand each other. NOW! :thumb: right back at cha
14. Go get it then. btw, there's this FBI Piracy thing beside the bar code. Will anything happen if someone copies the cd?
15. OK cool. I can save up again. Talib's is off da hook. I'll probably jsut get it 4 Christmas then. What is it wit Nas and these winter months?
16. Still don't know. Is it the kind of jockey that rides a horse? DJ is disc jockey. So turning. Knob is ... uh yeah. This one kid one always say slob on my knob. Joking in class. The class clown. So Does it have 2 do wit a certain anatomy?
17. Too much information 4 my fingers. Sorry y'all. :hsnono:
18. I can't really comment on this. Interesting topic tho. Lil strong, but interesting.
19. Washington, PA (they call it lil washington) I live directly in the city. It'z south west of Pittsburgh. btw, this is in the USA
20. I don't understand anything U said DM. btw, I got Talib's. I couldn't find NAs's. Trust me, I'm not disappointed.
21. YO guys, I just got Talib Album 2day. It came out 2day and I got it at Target. 13 tracks on it. I wasn't disappointed wit a single track. Honestly. I skimmed the 1st 7 in the car and listened 2 the whole cd in my room. It'z GREAT. Trust me, this is a great album 2 get. Here's a tracklist 1. Going Hard 2. Back Up Offa Me 3. Broken Glass 4. We Know feat. Faith Evans 5. A game 6. I Try feat. Mary J. Blige 7. Around My Way feat. John Legend 8. We Got The Beat feat. Res 9. Work It Out 10. Ghetto Show feat. Common & Anthony Hamilton 11. Black Girl Pain 12. Never Been In Love 13. Beautiful Struggle Ok. Something I was surprised at was the lyrics and stuff was in the book. Kinda cool. I love alot of the hooks. Some of the punches I heard 2. "I'm surrounded by more Babys than Ashanti songs" (i thought that was funny). #4 has a real nice love vibe as a rap song. #6 was produced by Kanye. It'z a real great song. Mary sings like she's young again to me. Powerful voice. Not powerful powerful, but U know what I mean. #7, I 1st heard that on the Chappelle Show. I got that version and the unfinshed version. Personally I think he could have had that same delivery on the cd, but he didn't. It was still real good. #8 is a personally favorite 4 me. Becuz I used 2 like some lite rock music when I was little. It'z something different 2 me. But the same. U kno? I love the Res singing "We got the beat 2 make the planet rock". Plus Talib adds this "zu-zu-zu...", but I still love it. #10 is cool too. Great collab between those 2. Couldn't really note Hamilton's performance. But it'z still a good song. #11 has a great note. A line I really liked was "They know the name, but they don't know the pain." (if U can understand that line's meaning. A lil more to it than what the usual may think). #12 got a nice hook and vibe. The last track is phat too. He mention that'z he's not political cuz he'z not messin wit politics. And then he names people (since I see it now, I'll list em...) "I'm on some KRS Ice Cube Chris Wallace ****/ Main Source De La Soul pumping 2pacalypse Now." Not a single track is bad 2 me. Some was a lil weird the 1st play or too much of the same, but it really isn't. About an hour of ya attention. U can vibe ya body and listen no problem. At least, I can. If U a Talib Kweli fan, U gotta get this album. If ya curious bout Talib and heard at least one song, U gotta get this album. U get the album. Please promote it. 4 Real. 4 More info on Talib, check out his site... Talib Kweli's Website
22. Ha ha. Dang man. I just was vibin' off a bad interpretation. I knew what U meant. I was jsut making sure. Besides, if U was gay, I think U'd make a lil stronger attempt. So my bad. Str8 Woman Lover. Sounds cool.
23. Don't get too cocky buddy, but we'll see.
