As far as being better than the last one is concerned, it is. "U deserve the finer things, instead of lying and crying" - Dope line
-
"So I can lay you on your stomach and caress your back" - How very LL like of you. :lolsign: "From your shoulders till your feet, I wanna feel your body Wanna feel your lips while I`m kissing you softly" - I really like the flow of these lines. It's slightly maturer aka machurer, but try to get a bit more diverser, even tho it's based around simple, yet deep topic. If this was realistically inspired, which I imagine it was, I bet cha could go more in thought about this girl than you already did. At least when it comes to writing a song. How many "love" songs have you wrote prior to this one? It's not half bad.

It's funny this comes up. There was one for JJFP's "You Saw My Blinker". all that's there is the lyrics.

hey Tim, since I have a computer class tomorrow, I was gonna reorder the shirt so I could print up. Or should I just stick with the same acct. # for the 1st one, and send my money order in when I get it? If so, I'm gonna need the address info and all that necessary to get the shirt. I thought about it, and I think it's worth it.

How bout these? They aren't official but they sound pretty sweet for loops Girls Ain't Nuthin But Trouble Parents Just Don't Understand Ring My Bell Dumb Dancin' You Saw My Blinker Just Kickin' It Ain't No Place Like Home -
You need to rap more aggressive. You're just starting tho, so hopefully it will come. Lyrically, it's pretty good, but again delivery would make it a lot better. Nice job Luigie.

Even tho it's a personal and realistic song, I think some parts of the verses are off. Like, the lines aren't strong enough or the ideas may not be clear. "And I promise, no more dumb **** like this again" - There's no way that this could reference to what was said in earlier lines. Like you're promising her something that really is only affecting you. "So many things to say from the tip of my pen" - This was a cool line "Ur my princess and queen but without a crown" - It's aight, but technically, a queen holds higher reign than a princess, so she can't be both. The line would be fine without the "princess". "I’ll cry u a river, and then build u the Tag Mohall" - Another one liner I thought was cool. Although, I never heard of the Tag Mohall, I get an idea from this song. "I didn’t understand why u couldn’t b my man" - How did you miss this Joe? Unless of course you change your prefence while writing the song. I think these lyrics a bit below average, especially when compared to your 'usual'.

Somebody should send this to The Game. At least this is more "classy" and makes sense. It's a good look for 50.

Onyx - Vissi D-Arte (Rhapsody - rappers goin' over classical music) rare and unreleased. Sounds like 2pac's "Me Against The World". It's a pretty cool song. But harder.
-
Onyx - Shifty "Throw down gritty and grimey!!!!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jim!!!!! Have a great one.

That was a good read of something that sets a reminder.

I just tried to put up on yousendit and I can't. I get an error everytime. Geez!, is there no median to make this possible?!?
-
If thats the case how did you get it? Hey Tim, at least no one has voted "dont want one"

Since there has been a lil talk about Masta Ace, I decided to go a lil outta order for you guys and upload the one with him on it. "4 Brothers" is one of my favorites. Props to Wordsworth for sending it.
-
yeah, I was afraid of that. I tried to find else where, but I figured somebody could help me out. Maybe I'll put the cd in segments and on yousendit or something. Actually, Masta Ace was a feature on a track via Wordsworth, so who knows.

When I first seen it, it almost looked to good to be true. Well, I rather believe this than the 2 Quarters/Lick Lipper Collabo album.

I can't doubt Nas, I'm sorry. Maybe I Am... and Nastradamus was a bad judgment call, but I don't think he'd make that mistake again.

There are countless talents out there in the world of Hip Hop. Too many for one to keep up, enough for one to find a desired taste. Underground, not easily seen or heard, basically don't have the same luxuries as those of the mainstream. Yet the likes of them work just as hard, however their resources don't allow as much success as they are probably due. Because of that, some are bitter, others are understanding. And the "X", simply put is the unknown as in algebra. "Underground X" is a nonprofit cd project of various artists who aren't easily recognized by the general public and/or on the underground scene. So the artists themselves and fans alike, may take part in having, pushing, or selling all towards one goal. --------------------- Now, for several months, I've been organizing this thing and features names familar to this forum (Da Brakes, Kel Spencer, Koffee Blakk, FuQ? :wiggle: ), forgotten names (Masta Ace, Main Flow and Donte [from Mood], or perhaps new (Fresh Air, Marv + Cash, Q.U. Ill). Whatever your preferences towards these names, they are just some of the artists kind enough to contribute towards this project. For now, one online source will be Megaupload. Any help in getting this elsewhere online will be much appreciated. Also, creating cover art (tracklist on one half, artwork on the other). If you want neither of this to apply to you, than just enjoy the songs. :2thumbs: Tracklist 1. Intro 2. Hip Hop Love - FuQ 3. Talk It Up - Kel Spencer 4. Where I'm From - Main Flow 5. By Myself (Leave Me Alone) - Koffee Blakk 6. Uzewhutchugot - MBF 7. Lyrical Fitness - Da Brakes 8. No Question - Fresh Air 9. About Love - Velben 10. In Between - Analog Social Club 11. 4 Brothers - Strickland, Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Punchline 12. Hey Hey - Donte 13. Pop Off - Kel Spencer 14. Stylez & Skills - FuQ 15. In The City - Opus7 16. I think everybody forgets Michael Jackson phenomeon in music. A lot like R. Kelly. These aren't personal favs of mine, but they can throw donw some nice stuff. I'm glad Nas kept his word about the KRS bio track. Plus, he's gonna help Rakim get a buzz towards his new album if he gets movin'. Maybe we'll finally hear a UBR remix with Rakim. And I like the fact that none of Nas's features are out of wack. There's some type of connection for each song. This album just might be better than Street's Disciple. It's certainly gonna be a nice follow up.

What's the sorry for? Anyway, I was tryna think of some lesser known beats, but a lot of the ones I have aren't battle types I think. And even if Cry Now isnt a good one, hey, we've got plenty of heads to come up with something. :smart:
