  1. Well, it's nice to hear from Nas. I thought his 'telling the facts' rhyme on Rakim was a lil off once I went back and listened to it after I got into Rakim more. It makes me wonder, "he can take his time wit KRS's but not Ra's?" As far as how he looks at today's music of Hip Hop and R&B, I agree. I mean how could U not? And I think people should just drop the whole Nas/Jay-Z thing. Just move on, they have.
  2. I just couldn't think of this one, then it hit me. It's Lisa's father (the for the moment Lisa). I can't think of the character or actor's name. It was the plane episode. Now.... "Sticks and stones may break your bones, but a 50 foot fall will kill y'all."
  3. When I was reading this, I could picture this being read among some of the best poetry published, like it was years ago and still relevant. "Because Today will always remember...everything Tomorrow won't" - I had to read that line a 2nd and 3rd time before it stuck. Powerful end. U seem to have a very natural gift at this stuff.
  4. Put it this way. It was the right pic at the right time.
  5. Nice to see Quan gettin a bigger buzz.
  6. "I think about life and how I could improve spiritually beyond cash" - that was a deep line. Nice follow ups wit the 2nd and 3rd verse. How exactly is that chorus? R U quotin' LL Cool J, or is his name said in it?
  7. Eric B + Rakim - Paid In Full beat I whipped up
  8. has been putting together a decent 1st album
  9. AHH Stray News: Will Smith's New Film Company, LL Cool J, Gloria Velez, Snoop Dogg By Nolan Strong Date: 7/16/2005 1:00 pm Will Smith is leading a group of investors to form The Momentum Experience, a new company that will distribute films and movies straight-to-DVD. Smith, along with Tisha Campbell, Duane Martin, Blair Underwood and producers D'Angela Steed and Nia Hil formed the company out of a desire to control images of African-Americans in film. The company will distribute the films in non-traditional venues, such as playhouses and concert theaters. The company plans on showcasing live artists and comedians before each film as well. ------------------------- I was browsing allhiphop.com and ran across this. Will's just makin money all kinda ways.
  10. That's Will's doggy puppet. I can't remember, but wasnt I the one who made up this game? Anyway, the next one is.... "We eat here later, you eat here never."
  11. I can't believe I missed this topic. The most upsetting episodes for me was 1. Will's dad coming back and still not wanting him. 2. Carlton almost dying on his Prom Nite from those 'Speed' pills in Will's locker. I honestly did cry, and I almost never do for some strange reason.
  12. is currently writing a songish poem by chapters. (btw, nice sig and avatar change. looks like Jada fell in heaven wit that kiss on the neck by Will)
  13. I can't call myself a fan, but I like the songs I've heard. (mostly the hit ones) They're a good group.
  14. Yeah, I did some researching on her last night. :google: She has an official website. Click here for it If U search around U can get freebies. Again, :google: But as my last words, let's just end this whole epidemic against Jonny5. OK, we've seen what he's seen, heard what he's heard. And he didn't even lie to us. Maybe changed his story a bit a few times. But it's all over. Besides, we can all pass a female finer (and on some occassions, older) than that if we get out more for a nice strolling walk. :spin:
  15. The BET Awards commercials were nearly a month ago. Why say something now? People have a problem wit lapdances by might I add some FINE black women know as Destiny's Child, on the BET awards; but there's nothing wrong wit pop divas Madonna, Britney, and Christina exchanging lesbian kisses on MTV Music Awards? They're just jealous becuz the lap dances lasted longer. There is always gonna be at least somebody that disagrees with some part of human society's culture. It's been like that nearly ever decade I can think back to. (at least in America anyway)
  16. Will SMith - Don't Say Nothin' I have a lil dancer to entertain me also. (thanks j5 :thumbsup2: )
  17. I just watched the video. About 5 times now. I want the whole thing. That girl is so freakin hot. Daaaaayyyy-yyyyyyyum!!!!!! J5, my days will never be the same becuz of U. Must resist....
  18. Uh, I thought it was strange this was up again. Why? I knew it looked like an old topic.
  19. I get a stronger will to go for it everyday. I'm tryna get on the scene whether they want me to or not. Honestly, I don't wanna stay forever if such a thing could happen. 3-4 albums, and I'm done. That's the way I'm lookin at it right now. Sittin' here at gettin nothin done, but I'm a do my best to make it happen.
  20. U know, Will's rhymes were far from dumb in his beginnings. And yet, he and Jeff got a grammy outta it? :hmm: Will can rap however he wants cuz he always pulls off smart tracks.
  21. U say the end is near, but the chorus say the end is here. :hmm: Anyway, the wordplay is good. "My flows are so cold when I diss you. Ur chilly" - that was a 'cool' line.
  22. Why does everybody think that's such an embrassing thing? Come on Vip, face it, U got skills man. Mint Condition - Definition of A Band
  23. Potential to be 'Future Legends'. I think we missed that topic. Kanye West - Well, I don't think so. He's TOO arrogant to have such a title. If he tones down and explores creativeness in his sound more, then I'll say he could be. Bow Wow - No, he'll just be a solid artist at the most. To be honest, all this new stuff from like 2000 on, really isn't anything legendary. Nobody is stickin' out becuz everybody is doin the same or talkin the same. There R no future legends of today's era. That's just the truth.
