Please, Kanye West is no legend. There's a big difference between being a legend and working with one. (John Legend, :haha:) But honestly bigted, Legends should have some popularity. Nah, they should have popularity, at least to the point of being recognized by the poeple. How else did we get 'legends' from ancient times? As far as thinking people are lookin at the wrong ones to be legends, I say, give it time. They should see truth sooner or later. I rather have them recognize who isn't a legend than to recognize what is. (but they go hand in hand anyway). And in the words of Elvin Tibedau (sp?) "If we look foward without ever looking backward, then we're really looking nowhere." :haha: Seemed fitting to say.

I just don't follow Eminem. Sorry but I don't. When he 1st came out, I got made fun of cuz I didn't listen to him and have his album. (that's why I hate him, cuz he got me bullied) :haha: jus playin. His 1st video caught my attention so I watched it most times it was on. I always thought of Pepsi when he was on the bench. After that, U'd just see his videos whenever. 1st time around I'd watch em. My niece (only 6 months younger than me) got one of his cds, and wanted me to hear him say Bitch many times. OK, uhhhh. I did watch what the VH1 Greatest Albums - The Marshall MAthers LP. Only album of Em's I got is 'Infinite'. I thought I'd never get tired of that. A couple times I did. I liked the beats and his presence on the mic. I just wasn't really into him. I don't like him or dislike him. He's just an out-there rapper to me. -And that's real.

It really does make me wonder. I'm not a 'fan' of Digital Underground, but I respect their music. Shock G was always a cool and real guy. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't even know who 2pac was. It is sad that he's retiring, but it's his choice, and I respect that. It's cool that he sat back for a minute and put his life in perspect wit all that's been goin' on. Well, I'm not gonna lie. I've been into Bleek. Particularly when I 1st heard him wit Jay on "Coming of Age". Then to hear that Jay-Z wrote that for him, kinda had me doubt. He's just not a major rapper in anyway. If anything, getting personal on tracks is his only benefit. At least he doesn't lie, it is all about the money. So he's gettin' what he can get. People looked at him like the one to be after Jay-Z. I guess wit that, the standards were set to high and he wasn't his own. Some of his tracks r worth blazin tho, but whole albums- nope.

I liked this one a lot. Kinda LL-ish "I Need Love" type almost, but a lil more edgy. Hopefully, U dont actually tell this to kids. Perhaps a "y'all" is more fitting. Just a minor deal. It's a good simple rhyme.
