  1. Aww, that's cold. Don't nobody want your sorry excuse for a mixtape anyway. :sleep2: :jazzy: :haha:
  2. That 2nd one was really 'raw'. He's got some dope freestyles.
  3. LL Cool J - Freestyle to 112's "It's Over Now" I got worried when it was so small but it's nearly 4 minutes. I like it. LL Cool J's tears it up like it's a regular track on one of his albums.
  4. myself, "Anotha Brenda" next, that LL Cool J Freestyle (thanks to turntable)
  5. Do U know what 112 beat it is, while I'm getting it? I never heard LL freestyle, so I'm real interest to hear this.
  6. LL Cool J feat. Boyz II Men - Hey Lover
  7. The very possible reason why it is ignored is because they aren't exposed to it like they are with commercially televised successful artists. But if those underground/independent artists get around to some many concerts a year, why wouldn't they get exposed? If some do, they ignore it, or just don't like it. Ted, it's wrong to call blacks sellouts for buying a certain kind of music. Their may be something "wrong" with them and a word or two for it, but surely 'sellout' isn't the word. There is just so much into this subject. (I'd really have more to say but it's just so much to think about.)
  8. Yeah Pac would be 34 now and be considered ol' school, it's amazing how many peeps in hip-hop we lost over the years: Jam Master Jay, Left Eye, and Aaliyah are a few others that we didn't mention, if all them were alive still a lot of talentless artists wouldn't be signed. ← It's something to think about when U look at how all these artists died. We're yet to hear a hip hop artist die of old age. Hip hop is still a very young music genre. JMJ died in a shooting at Quad Recording Studios (Pac may have in '94, but he survived), Aaliyah died in a plane crash, Left Eye died in a car accident (right?), Big L was shot (right?), Easy-E died of AIDS, Pac and BIG died in drive-by-car shootings, Pun died from health problems, and I know there's more worth mentioning.
  9. :word:  :lolsign: ← :hmm: How come nobody found it funny when I said "He's Uncle Phil's evil twin? :wtf: I agree wit AJ 100% on that post. I don't understand why Suge wanted credit for "Ice Ice Baby"?!? It makes you wonder if Suge would have really done it, had Vanilla Ice challenged him. We've known Suge to do major harm, but murder? Pac, knew there was a hit out on his life when he was in jail. I think Pac fought death off, but not physically. Have we ever heard of a time where Pac's life was very much in danger and he fought back? (something I just wondered)
  10. Yeah, that was the one problem I ran into also, which is why I have Fruity Loops until then.
  11. I imagine english isnt ya 1st language. I saw minor grammatical errors. So props for at least that. "But don’t doubt him or u gonna hit" - just add 'or u gonna get hit' The rhyme was fine. Raps dont have to be all advanced. U could rap the simplist lyrics and still come at it. For an early rap, it's just fine.
  12. Haha, yeah I know. M is my first initals and Fuqua is my last name. That's all. It was just a fun battle is all.
  13. I liked that beat. Pretty Dope.
  14. How coincedental. Of course AJ, they know your ya own man. And besides if U would follow someone, I doubt it's be me. :lolsign: But I'm listening to it again right now.
  15. Welcome to the board. You'll like it here. And what U mean greatest hits? U gonna show us some lyrics or let us hear some y'alls audios?
  16. Hey y'all. Yesterday, I decided I was gonna make a mixtape, well mix cd rather of JJFP songs, underground net stuff by forum artists and those like us. I had planned to make a mix before titled "Summertime Rhyme Vol.1" last year. Some of U may remember me putting up the audio I did using the classic JJFP "Summertime". However it wasn't 'properly recorded'. Anyway, here are some mix tracks I had done for that cd last year. The Intro (0:44) SWV feat. NaS - Ain't Hard To Tell (Love) (3:46) SWV 'Weak' b/w 'One In A Million' (1:23) :jazzy:
  17. Well maybe artists like Tatyana doesn't want big success in the mainstream. Just make music for the love of it. And she's got peoples who love what she does.
  18. I won't comment on that, but I will say I was quite impressed and fueled by our opponents. I had almost forget this was for fun kinda. Gscotty had some decent lines, but I was like "The kid just don't know." I said a verse can be 16 or a million. So U weren't listening. lol. Then the mistake of my name being pronounced as the F bomb. Not correct. :shakehead: Then FPC came wit the heat. Thing is U used a bit against me, or attempted to. I noticed ya 1st 2 lines were "Lost and Found" inspired shall we say. And I set standard for ya, considerin ya battle verse in Rd. 1 And my potna, I looked out for him, and let em know we are a team, and we go to work 2gether. This was a great battle. I think we all challenged each other a lil bit more than we expected.
  19. I'll try to convert it myself. If that don't work, I'll come find ya. Thanks
  20. If Tupac were alive today, the whole world of Hip Hop would be different. And actually, Pac knew he wouldn't live past 30 anyway, so he wouldn't be wit us after 2001.
  21. Gettin in the 80s and 90s. It's a HOT summer. Maybe gettin moderate rain this time. Kids will complain of nothing to do.
  22. The Temptations - Papa Was A Rollin Stone (DJ Jazzy Jeff and Pete Kumaz Soulful Remix) 8:50 of a vibe easy, kick-back track.
  23. Hey I got this song. I love every bit of it. But I got a problem. (anyone who got winamp, help me out) I went to add files to my library and it didn't show up. I tried it several times. Any suggestions?
  24. Will Smith - We Won't Damn!, this is a great freakin' track. Mad energy.
