I disagree wit AJ on one point. The Nas Jay-Z battle. That was good. Notice it still isnt' going on. Nas won 52% to 48% by most books. So U can basically call it almost deadlocked. It can go either way. But Nas won. Jay just said to not accept defeat. I think some people looked at the battle the wrong way. That's the real fault. Not the fact that Jay and Nas "fueded". Battling doesn't go on 2day because people blow it outta proportions and take it too far. In battlings case, change isn't good. It was good clean fun is all. Now it ain't. We gone from "Battle of Wits" to "Battles of Bulls***s".

Eh, I can see a lil good debate comin from this one. The LL album I got is "DEFinition". I think my mom has "Phenomenom" in her collect and doesn't kno it. I loved "Around The Way Girl" and "Mama Said Knock You Out". And that's 1990, I forget the name of that album tho. But I'd say that one just becuz.

I loved every bit of it. I was very interested in it becuz of the title. My dad said his professor wanted him to remember self-preservation. "when will i know when i've reached my peak? when i can no longer write? when i can no longer speak?" - these lines stuck out to me the 1st time I read it cuz I'm always thinkin about this matter. "and being an individual becomes too much of a bother" - I agree. It does. Even if U take pride in being ya-self, sometimes it's hard to maintain. Especially if U have no one to relate to. I would have quoted a couple more lines, but my mouse is actin' up. This is definately a dope poem, verse, lyrics, whatever U wanna call it. Kinda hits home for me. I really liked it.

As long as Will performs and doesn't do it over other people's beats, it's all good. But then again, that might get good promotion amongst Hip-hop peers. But since when does Will have to proof anything to them?

And for people who don't, maybe get someone to speak on your behalf if U'd like. To Rappers It May Concern: Should do one verse. (length doesn't really matter. just not be extreme). They can either rap the verse, or simply read it, or maybe something I never thought of. If someone isn't an "English Nature Speaker", it's ok. Speak in your language. And when U finish ya verse or whatever U may have done, let's not post it til all at once. We should have people have natural ideas without being influenced majorly by others work. Dave's comedy is just so great for today's society. There's something not classic but there's probably a word for it that describes about Dave's comedy. I like imitatiing the "Samuel Jackson's Beer" "It's my beer! It'll have ya f***in fat b****es in no time!! U might even fight a n**** or two.... It'll get cha drunk!!!" JAckson - "How's it taste mutha*****?!?!" Guy - "Would U stop yelling at me?" Jackson - "No I can't stop yelling cuz that's how I talk!!! Don't U watch my movies?!?!" :haha: Dave is very funny, but let's not 4get 'some' of the great musical acts. If I don't get this DVD anytime soon, I'll get it for my b-day. "...But don't buy into it I'll give them some French With me it's more like, “Non merci beaucoup”" - that was nice continuation. My french is a lil rusty but that's 'No thank U very much'. I loved how the rhyme just went on wit it. Great subject matter.
