  1. I agree wit ya AJ. Me Against The World is my favorite album also. It seems every 2pac fan I run into, their favorite album is All Eyez On Me. Unlike U, I didn't have the pleasure of following him during '91. I can just look back from the clips people show and listen to the music. It amazes me how Pac acted wit DR. But he was still his own person. He'd want to do interviews that Suge didn't want him to do. He still did stuff to improve communities, went to speak, etc. He collaborated wit non-known MCs. Gave them a shot at showing their talent to a wider audience, such as Mac Mall, Dru Down, Bad Azz, etc. We would've saw a new side of Pac like we usually did.
  2. Great, now the R.Kelly scandal has spread into animals free world. :cwm:  "here kiddie kiddie kiddie..."
  3. Pac may not have even still rapped if he were alive today. He'd be doing something like Dre releasing an album every so many years. I think Pac referred to John Lennon. But Pac probably couldn't have held back.
  4. yes it was, and that's why I said U could've came at him more.
  5. Ice Cube feat. Chuck D - Endangered Species
  6. 4 sure. the best forum U'll ever visit. Welcome in!
  7. I think u had the best verse outta everybody FPC.
  8. I don't know. U both had good verses. Tim could've came at U a lil more. (when I look back and read his) It ain't over til it's over.
  9. I thought it was 980,000. Are u sure? DAng. We really need to help Will out.
  10. I think it would be convienent to make a 2pac soundtrack appearances cd. Have all the songs that were on soundtracks. And then release a cd of all collabs featuring 2pac. I'm doing that myself anyway. It seems like their only releasing 95-95 stuff. I know Pac had some nice stuff from the Digital Underground era. They probably don't wanna put it out cuz they don't feel it will be relevant. Put they can notify fans of that. I'd have no prob wit some dope MC's gettin' wit Pac. Pac and Big Daddy Kane did real good 2gether wit "Wherever U R aka Show Stop". Pac was rushin to write cuz of death itself (4 sure), but being on Deathrow? that's questionable. Wouldn't surprise me. There's very good reasoning behind that. DR was suppose to protect Pac and they didn't. Things fell apart that nite in Vegas. There's so much behind that too.
  11. I heard it on the radio the other day. It was a nice track. It almost sounded like the same ol' Kanye. But his lyrics was good and recent. Refering to his "best new artist" overlook
  12. well schnazz, send brakes ya verse thru a pm before the 2 days is up. and if scy don't respond, then u can post ya verse if U want. just to so people. I think that would work best.
  13. I can't believe how some of these battles are so close.
  14. cataboy did better. his had real good fluency thru-out. fan4ever seemed to limit his lyrical context. I've seen better outta him. Cata's verse grabbed me more than fan's.
  15. Do we have to post reason why we vote who we voted for? cuz I study both's lyrics and came to my reasoning.
  16. It shouldn't really be his last cuz there's a lot of useful material. Most people can get their hands on the originals if they keep track of what they got. The albums after death really weren't bad to me. Then Eminem did it and it was the worst. There is this one producer named Assassin who is releasing a cd called "The Way He Wanted It". I guess it' remastered to sound better. It's got all the original collaborations and producers. It's nto sold in stores that I know of but it is sold online. Definately worth getting.
  17. If Snoop has a game, and it's Boyz In The Hood writer (John Singleton I think) it's gonna be one hot game. Definately better than 50 Cent's
  18. My thoughts exactly. That's what I told bago when he asked me.
  19. An MC isn't great by just or even how many records they sell. Some people do in fact fail to see talent. Biggie's not the 'best'. He's just one of the popular guys that companies could sell. U gotta put Will Smith in because look at how diverse his music and career has been. His style of the late 80s, early 90s, late 90s, and in 2002 2005. NaS, actually can be argued. But in general, U could put him there. Maybe or maybe not top 5. But definately Top 10. Whether U agree wit all he's done in his career or not. 2pac's in darn near everybody's Top 5 or 10. Saying Tupac is better than like Will Smith is like saying Huey Newton is better than Dr. Suess. Both are doing things different but somewaht similar success. I guess that's a good way to put it. We say Tupac as more than just a rapper, cuz that wasn't all he was doing. Rap was just part of it. Look at Jay-Z and 50 Cent. "I'm only rappin and I'm so great, but wait, the money isn't rollin in. It ain't enuff for me, so I want more." Hence the clothing line, alcoholic products, etc. The people that started Hip Hop. They're automatically put in all-time. Cuz Hip-hop is still around and not everyone recognizes them like they should.
  20. 2pac - Me Against The World feat. Dramacydal
  21. Nice intro track. I liked it the whole way thru. "U the solo voice on the track so you've got the power, The lyrics in your head cause u have practiced for hours" - that was my fav. line in it.
