  1. Yeah let's hope that Will is going to be on the album!
  2. Yeah the song is sick...real dope! Can't wait for his new album!
  3. He's not showing love for hip hop by releasing an album every 4 years or so...face it! Lost & found is a dope album, one of his bests! What did he do to promote it...he released switch and Party Starter! Sure, Interscope had something to do with it, but a man like Will can release any song he likes! (just look at him releasing So Fresh and shooting a video for it) If he loved hip hop like you are saying he would have released "Lost & Found" or "I Wish I Made That" or "Tell Me Why" and a make a video of it out of his own pocket! He said in interviews that "Tell Me Why" was the second best song he ever recorded...Why didn't he release a video for it then if Interscope wouldn't do it! All I"m saying is this: he might love hip hop, but he loves acting even more!
  4. Who says that I want him to go consicious?? I was talking about the way these artists work and there love for hip hop and what they do! :smart: I know he's a mainstream mc, i never said that i wanted him to go underground...I just want him to focus more on music...like Talib Kweli and Common do!
  5. You live in Holland right....do some shopping in Belgium and buy the second and third season man! They are in stores here in Belgium! I'm waiting for season 4!
  6. I know what you mean Da Brakes, but let's face it...Will doesn't have to do those movies anymore for the money...he's rich already!! I see it this way: he's doing movies because he likes it and he wants to show people that he's a serious actor! He wants to win an oscar....and for that he's music get's put on hold!
  7. I can't believe that you said that Da Butta is a bad track...i love it! Sure, Lil Kim ain't on the same level as Will, but it's still a hot track. And why all the hate on Born To Reign. It has some dope tracks: - Born To Reign - Act Like You Know - How Da Beat Goes - Blockparty - Give Me Tonight Sure, it's not his best album, but it was way better then some of the commercial hip hop albums that got released that year (Nellyville anyone??)
  8. Does anyone know why the show got cancelled? I used to like it!
  9. I wish he was more like Common and The Roots and Talib Kweli...they drop albums and make guestspots frequently...and they don't have to be on the charts all the time. They make music for the real hip hop heads and music lovers. I think if Will or JJFP would release an album just for the real hip hop heads and don't focus on the mainstream, it would be a great album. But the way things are now, with all his movies, i geuss it's not going to happen.
  10. :word: That would be cool...if he had a myspace like Jeff were he puts up some unreleased tracks...but the thing is...he's not only a rapper...he's also the hottest movie star of the world right now! With all the movies he's doing he hasn't got much time for music! :damnyou:
  11. It's hard to tell right now with all those movies that he's doing...let's wait and see!

  13. Here's some more of the same: Jazzy Jeff & Koch Team To Release Debut Album By Black Ice By EbenGregory Date: 8/17/2006 11:30 am DJ Jazzy Jeff and Koch Records have teamed to release The Death of Willie Lynch, the debut album of Def Poetry Jam alum Black Ice. Due to arrive in stores on September 5, the new disc features collaborations with Musiq Soulchild, Natalie Stewart of Floetry, Vee and Chyna Black. The CD also features production from Eric Greene Jr., the album’s only producer. Black Ice, born Lamar Manson, was the first first spoken word artist signed to Def Jam Records. Performing spoken word since 1994, Black Ice was also cast as a lead member in Def Poetry on Broadway, which went on to win the 2003 Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event. Ice is currently in the midst of performing with Mary J. Blige on her "Breakthrough Summer Tour 2006." Scheduled for more than 30 venues, the North American tour kicked off in mid-July with dates running into early September. In related news, the Philadelphia poet recently put the finishing on the "Hoodwatch Movement Mixtape Volume I." He also plans on releasing a book of his prayers, entitled Me & God, a five year chronicle of Black Ice's journal writings. SOURCE: ALLHIPHOP.COM
