  1. Is Dave Chappelle a Target? Tuesday - December 20, 2005 A-Plus The hip hop world hasn’t had a good internet hoax since the fabricated CNN story about the deaths of Jay Z and 50 Cent. Now, it seems that former Comedy Central golden child Dave Chappelle is next on the conspiracy theory hit list. www.chappelletheory.com is naming several politicians and entertainers, claiming that the secret group is responsible for the end of Chappelle’s Show. According to the site, Bill Cosby, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan and others are all part of the plan. ”Dave was haunted by a secret. One that only he was aware of, and one he couldn't share with anyone, lest his comedy empire crumble,” the introduction reads. ”He knew that at the same time he was signing his record-setting deal, there was a secret cabal of powerful African-American leaders from the business, political, and entertainment industries working together to ensure that the third season of Chappelle's Show would never happen.” But the Chappelle Theory doesn’t stop there. Also on the page is an elaborately drawn up theory which includes a timeline spanning several years. By now, you’re probably thinking this is ridiculous (like I do). However, the site’s creator insists that none of this is phony (we here at DX believe otherwise. "This account of Dave Chappelle's fall from grace has been pieced together by me, a retired public relations executive who wishes to remain anonymous. My contacts, many of whom were closely related to the individuals involved, enabled me to fairly accurately recount the events that took place. You can take this for what you wish, but it is the truth - the abhorrent byproduct of the industry I used to hold to such a high esteem.” "I have written this account without the need for embellishments or exaggerations for the truth is appalling enough. Let this site serve as a drawn curtain to the entertainment industry which is blindly adored by the entire world." _____________________ I went to the site, http://www.chappelletheory.com, and read everything! It's a good read...would be a dope hollywood movie, but I doubt that it's real!
  2. What does that have to do with anything? Puff signed BIG...still Puffy isn't as good as BIG! Same thing here, only Jay-z singed Freeway! Freeway isn't on LL's nor on Jay-z's level! That's all we are saying!
  3. I couldn't watch that...I just had to turn that off! Damn that was horrible!
  4. Sup y'all, On rapreviews.com they are doing "The Year in review"! Every writer has to put down their top 10 albums off this year! This guy, Adam Bernard, has Lost & Found at #2! Great news! :2thumbs: Check it out! ____________________________ 2. Will Smith: Lost and Found The Fresh Prince was another artist who made a triumphant return in 2005. While "Switch" was a good first single the real meat of the album is in tracks like "Lost and Found," "If You Can't Dance," "Mr. NiceGuy," "I Wish I Made That" and "Ms. Holy Roller" where he reminds listeners that he is one of rap's all time greats and should be mentioned along side the likes of KRS-ONE and 2Pac. Unlike most of today's rappers, however, he does this more so by SHOWING why he should rank there rather than just saying it. source: http://www.rapreviews.com/year/05adamb.html
  5. Welcome man! Hope you stick around!
  6. I'm not complaining...i'm just saying that I can't believe it! Freeway is cool, not the best MC in the game or something, the same for Juelz Santana, but these cats aren't the best hip hop got to offer! I was just thinking, "damn, LL is making song with all these cats but not with JJFP? How come?"
  7. I found this on mtv.com! LL Cool J has a couple of records on the underground circuit right now, one with Freeway ("What You Want") and one with Juelz Santana ("It's LL and Santana") — and that's just the start of his collaborating. Uncle L is in the lab working on a new album called Todd Smith and he wants it out on March 21. So far he's gotten down with Lyfe, Mary Mary, 112, Teairra Marí, Mary J. Blige, Ginuwine and producers Scott Storch, Jermaine Dupri, Track Masters and Bink. ... ______________________________________ I can't believe he's doing songs with freeway and Juelz Santana but not with JJFP! The game needs a JJFP & LL Cool J song.... :word:
  8. If you are looking for more pictures off JJFP Live @ Jingle Ball, check my JJFP site! JJFP World

  12. Hip Hop Shows Love To Lost & Found Hip Hop Icons Jay-z & Nas have been quoted given props to the new Will Smith album! Jay-Z said the other day it's all he's been listening to the last couple days. Nas mention his name is the UK saying it's about time someone with Will's status talk about the state of hiphop because more people (rappers) are gonna take note that even Will notice the lack of realism in hiphop. That's what Jay-z said about Lost & Found!
  13. Yeah the show is tonight y'all...what's happenin! Anybody know if they will broadcast it on the radio or something? :hmm:
  14. I don't see this as a diss at all... Jay-z is saying the thruth! They make different music... I doubt that there ever has been any beef between Will and Jay...If you ask me they are cool!
  15. First of...Wu Tang ain't a person...they're a group! :wiggle: Second...Jay-z said this in his song "It's Hot (Some Like it Hot)" from his album "Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter" "I'm about a dollar, what the **** is 50 Cents?" He responded to that 50 cent song where 50 is dissing everyone!
