I see what you mean man...i've got that same feeling! To Ted, Will said that he would be doing music for like 6 months or so when Lost & Found came out! Why couldn't he have done it for a whole year? No movies, no nothing, just music...going on tour, making video's and some remixes! Putting your album out there and only releasing one single is not going to help you sell more records! People went out and bought the album because of Switch, if Party Starter was released in June/July people who didn't buy it when it dropped could have bought it then! And yeah, Will did some performances, but what did he do? He did Switch and Summertime everytime...please man, he had a new cd out with hot, fresh songs...he could have done Party Starter, I Wish I Made That and even Tell Me Why if he really wanted! Tell Me Why would have been perfect on Live 8! But once again he did Switch and Summertime! How the hell do you want people to buy your album if all you perform is the same old single? :shrug:

Hip Hop ain't dead, nor sleeping, it went underground! Face it, all the good acts are underground acts or on a indie label! Little Brother, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def...those cats are the truth! They ain't doing them 50 Cent numbers when it comes to selling albums, but they are making music that is real and pure! And underground cats like FuQ and the Brakes and all of us on the forum are making music because we love Hip Hop...Because WE ARE HIP HOP! And that's the problem these days, everybody wants to be Hip Hop! 'Look at me, I'm wearing white shoes, baggy pants and some chains, I most be Hip Hop now" That's how it goes! Back in the day, black folks wanted to be white, now every white kid wants to be a poor black guy who finds his way to the top with Hip Hop music!

I think AJ is right! And if you ask me, Lost & Found is going to be another Born To Reign album! Don't get me wrong, this album is much better then B2R, but it wasn't promoted right! With B2R they had one single and then months later, when nobody cared no more, they had a second single! This is what's happening right now...All those cats that bought the album for Switch aren't waiting for a new single! And Party Starter is a good single, but who want's to party during fall? Tell Me Why would be way better! And Will is to blame, when the album did come out he could have just said "I'm not doing movies this year, so i can promote this album' He has done music for a couple months and yes he has preformed some songs, but only 1 song from the new album! He could have done Party Starter more if you ask me, and he could have done Tell Me Why on Live 8!

That 50 Cent performance was an isult to Hip Hop...Why in the name of God did he have to perform! And then that **** Fat Joe comment...They are an insult to hip hop! Kanye did his thing, but it was no way as good as the Fugees at the BET Awards! Let's be real, almost everybody want's to be Hip Hop these days! And Hip Hop sells...end of story!

I was at school when I first heard it! I was surfing the net when I read on the board that the cd had been leaked! I found it and listend to it during the brake! It was asome! Party Starter, Lost & Found, I Wish I Made That...all those songs where dope and gave me goosbumps! Damn, I do miss that!
