"i will definatly rap something when i have some time"
MissAshley replied to Jazzy Julie's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
what's funny is in that radio/video interview when the lady asked if he could only have one or the other he chose music, and then he throws out the "acting pays the bills" line, lol. -

I don't pay much attention to dude's contradictions anymore; I'm taking everything with a grain of salt. Which is why I didn't get overly hyped that he performed with Jeff in LA @ the Hancock premiere, just took it for what it was. I don't necessarily think he's gonna jump right back into music. That said, I hope there's some kinda language barrier or something and that these aren't direct quotes b/c he sounds like an ass with the whole "most powerful actor" stuff, I mean be a little humble. I'm gonna say soemthing got lost in translation b/c they don't even realize one of his "three boys" is a girl. -
when Will, Jazz and Hilary went to dinner with Marissa Redmond (Queen Latifah, who also played DD in an episode) she said something about Hilary being an idiot, and Jazz got mad Jazz: "you're the idiot" Will: "wup date's over" or something like that, lmao

Well AJ, and Typhoon pretty much summed up what I was thinking. Would it be great for their friendship? probably. But business wise? probably not so much. I really don't see Tom Cruise as a "powerful" actor anymore to be honest, his career has been on a steady decline for years now, is that to say it'll stay that way? maybe not. But it's extremely obvious that his behavior and personal life have affected his career, and I can't even blame it on his beliefs b/c there are lots of celebs who are Scientologists whose careers are doing just fine, and he's been one for years, even when he was at the height of his career. There's already tons of people who say they won't support Will's films b/c they think he's a Scientologist, or b/c of Cruise or whatever (which doesn't make sense to me, but that's another rant all together) and no I don't think he should live his life a certain way just b/c of public opinion. I also think Will's only getting a certain view of Scientology (obviously) so maybe he doesn't see the so called "evils" of it or whatever. And as a fan of Will I'd support his films but honestly these past two years he's been promoting movies that have nothing what-so-ever to do with Tom Cruise, yet I have to sit back and listen to him gush about another grown ass man? c'mon now. (Lord help me when Seven Pounds comes out) I'm not sure a film with them both is something I'd be rushing out to see. Ty I also think Will's too nice sometimes, it's almost like somebody's trying to revive Tom's image through his friends, convince us he's not a bad guy( and for the record I don't think he is) I'm just kinda tired of him. *end rant*...well semi-rant.

Methodman Thinks Soulja Boy is Garbage
MissAshley replied to Da Brakes's topic in Caught in the Middle
Throwin' in my 2 cents, I wanna know, why just Soulja Boy? there's plenty of crap rappers out at the moment. did I miss something, is there a specific reason people are calling him out? *no I didn't watch the videos* b/c I think it's asinine for grown ass men, (some of whom are middle aged) to be arguing with a child...over the internet of all places? this is how stupid "beefs" and rap wars get started, grow up. :shakehead: they should all take a minute and do something meaningful, write a song that contributes something positive to hip hop, start a charity or something....get a GED, y'know? *sigh* seriously it really is kinda sad that this is the direction hip hop has gone in. -
i'm late but Happy Birthday dude. :gettinjiggywitit:

Why not? Both are great actors in my opinion. must I state the obvious?
-
cool interview, he killed me with the perfect weekend.....but does Will seriously think a film with Tom Cruise is a smart move?

BRAND NEW! AKon ft. Micheal Jackson - Hold My Hand!
MissAshley replied to The Definition's topic in Caught in the Middle
I love it, their voices sound cool together. -
I'm lmao, this crap is getting airtime now. This professor/scientology critic was just on Inside Edition, talking about how "Will Smith, just needs to come clean" b/c New Village "is a scientology school". I'm just curious as to what classes he's taken there, considering he's gotta be damn near 60 yrs. old. I'm no fan of scientology by any means, but hey people can believe what they want. What I don't get is why people care so much? don't like it, don't send your kid there, it's really that simple. these "critics" are making themselves look more crazy, who's the lesser of two evils? i'm beginning to wonder.
-
that may be jumping the gun a little.
-
they just won't be satisfied until he says he is, even if he isn't. it's that simple, lol.

they were saying he did that at a wrap party for Hancock, gave them out as gifts or something, but I've read in a few places that that wasn't even true. and the story came out mths. after the film wrapped.

just days before Hancock opens. Coincidence? I think not.

Will Performing Switch/FPOBA At Mandela Concert
MissAshley replied to TopDawg14's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
It did seem kinda spur of the moment, but who knows maybe he did plan it? somebody said he was listed as a performer. I say we take it for what it was though and not get too hyped, just to get let down again....just wait and see if there will be more performing in the future. -
