first off, don't shoot the messenger, lol, I'm just posting it in case there's some truth to it. ok so maybe it's not the greatest source(it's probably the worst), but supposedly this is an interview excerpt from Jeff, I hate to get people's hope up, but just in case you guys haven't seen it. November date for Jazzy & Will IT'S the news we've all been waiting for. After pleas from fans around the world, The Sun can confirm that DJ JAZZY JEFF and THE FRESH PRINCE will make a comeback in November. Last year sources told Bizarre that Jazzy and best pal WILL SMITH were discussing a possible reunion. But now, in his own words, Jazzy says the pair will dust off their bling to make a new album in November. In an exclusive interview, he said: "We've been asked so many times by fans but now Will really wants to do it. "We talk about it all the time but recently he came up to me and said he was very serious about it and wants to do something very soon. "It's just a case of finding the time. We're both so busy. You know, I'm on tour and he's making movies this summer. "He's the biggest superstar in the world now. We're aiming for November." The twosome first hit the scene in 1985 with Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble and since then have gone on to sell over 10 million records worldwide with hits such as Boom! Shake The Room. The dynamic duo have also won three Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, two NAACP Awards, two Soul Train Music Awards, as well as an MTV Music Award. While DJ Jazzy turned to a solo career and producing - his new album Jazzy The Return Of The Magnificent is out in shops now - Will has gone on to movie superstardom, picking up an Oscar nomination for recent hit The Pursuit Of Happyness. But while Jazzy appreciates Will's amazing talent, he says he's not some keen on some of his flicks. "I don't like his slushy films - and I tell him that," he quipped. "I do prefer his bad movies. I knew from the beginning he'd grown into this massive star." Jazzy added that Will returns the support by going to his gigs. "Obviously he's very busy but if he has the time Will will come to a concert. He says he enjoys my stuff. "I enjoy my music now more than I did ten years ago. "My new album is turning out to be the best record I have ever done. "I've hooked up with artists such as METHOD MAN (Wu Tang Clan), RHYMEFEST (Kanye West’s prodigy), BIG DADDY KANE, CL SMOOTH, RAHEEM DeVAUGHN, POS OF DE LA SOUL and JEAN GRAE." But, being on the wrong side of 40 I wondered if his desire and commitment to the music industry is beginnning to wane? "Not at all," he said. "I don't think I'll ever tire of touring. I was recently in the UK and had a great time. "There are so many different music lovers. I'm also hoping to do some festivals this summer too." He added: "I love the hip hop scene. Dizzie Rascal is great. I also think Ti and Roots Manoeuvre are fantastic. "If the United States wasn't as fickle as it is a lot of those acts would do well over there. It's a shame." Jazzy’s new album The Return Of The Magnificent is out now. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,11036-2007230764,00.html hopefully it's not some crock, where they just pulled quotes from different articles and threw them together in an interview.

Happy Birthday Kev! have a good one!

lol. have a great birthday Cookies!!!!
-
there's an explicit version of Gettin' Jiggy with it? lol that doesn't even sound possible.
-
yeah i brought this up a long time ago, they'd stolen tons of pics from Will Smith Zone, and litterally tagged over the tags that were already on the pics, not surprising they ripped some stuff off this site too, very generic.
-
it def. wasn't what it used to be (kinda funny at best) you can tell Will and Jada aren't as involved as they were at first. I think it was dumb the way the writers changed the storyline and I mainly only watched when the Smiths were on or they had a guest star. Anyway they've got other shows in the works so I'm sure they're not too worried about it, people seemed to know it was on it's last legs.

that's awful, these fires are getting out of control everywhere, hopefully no one gets hurt & you and your family will be okay.

Jaden Smith to star in 'Newton's Law' Columbia, Overbrook pact on Brooks' script By DIANE GARRETT, DIANE GARRETT, DAVE MCNARY Columbia and Overbrook Entertainment will test out "Newton's Law" as the next project for Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Eight-year-old Smith, who starred alongside his father in Sony's "The Pursuit of Happyness," his first feature role, is attached to play a precocious inventor trapped in a science center during a field trip. Tyro scribe Carolyn Brooks wrote the screenplay. Prior to screenwriting, Brooks worked as a visual effects artist on such films as "Garfield," "The Chronicles of Riddick," "Ice Princess" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Overbrook, which also produced "ATL" last year, starts production on "Lakeview Terrace," starring Samuel L. Jackson, in mid-June. Brooks is managed by Jai Khanna at Brillstein/Grey and repped by Ken Freimann at William Morris. Jaden Smith is managed by Miguel Melendez of Overbrook Entertainment and repped by Nicole David at William Morris. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111796450...yid=13&cs=1 for anyone wondering what's up next for the kid.

Russell Simmons Calls For Closed Door Hip-Hop Meeting
MissAshley replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
this has been done a few times before, i just hope this time they actually get somewhere, and get through to some of these artists. I watched the two part Oprah show, and Russell was kinda making me mad, the way he was speaking up for some of these artists calling them "poets" and their lyrics and stuff "art", when these days at least 75% of it is BS...but i would like to say hip-hop had nothing to do with what Imus said, that was just an old racist idiot shooting off at the mouth, attacking those girls for no reason. Is the state of hip-hop part of the problem? yes. but you can't blame it all on that (like he tried to in a statement to some show he did) and i'm sick and tired of the people who run around saying we as black people need to own up to that(can't think of the guy, uhh Jason Whitlock) b/c contrary to popular belief we don't run around calling e/o "nappy headed hos" and "jiggaboos" (some ish i haven't heard since I saw Spike Lee's School Daze) which sparked all this in the first place. there, there's my rant. -
still a teenager?! *blows raspberry* haha, hope you have a very HAPYY BIRTHDAY girl!
-
that's funny considering he has a record with a (then) two year old Hailie talking about killing Kim. Pathetic.
-

wasn't kyle the little kid Will was holding in the Summertime video, playing with the bubbles? i know he was in Just The Two of Us, when Will's sitting in a chair and all the kids are on the floor in front of him singing along. he was in the Kel Spence video too. and he was one of the little kids in Freakin' It. that's a shame i watch his videos that much lol Tim are you sure he's Will's sister's husband's son? I always thought he was his sister's son, esp. with his last name being Smith (not that that really matters when you think about it.)..come to think of it Cookies i also spotted him in an episode of FPOBA with Will's mom one day.

you didn't miss anything they were pretty much annoucing the people who were nominated and talking about Justin Timberlake hosting, this coming sunday there's supposed to be some kinda look into the KCAs in the past or something like that
