  1. I heard him say that about Ali quite a bit...another "Bollywood" interview excerpt: Speaking about his performances Will said, "I think Ali was my best performance till date. I also enjoyed working on Bad Boys, we shot that in Miami and we had tons of fun there. My next release will be 'Pursuit of Happiness', which will release in a couple of months. My seven-year-old son is acting in it, too. I think we've both done a great job in the movie." since when is Dec. a couple mths. away from Feb.? lol makes you wonder if the release date has been pushed up a bit :hmm:
  2. none except this: Smith asserted that the film 'Pursuit of Happiness', presently under production, is his best film so far in which he is acting with his seven-year-old son.
  3. now i've heard some stuff in my day but i think this one takes the cake...my stomach's turning...EWWWW! how do you?....nevermind
  4. for those of you guys interested to know "The Seat Filler" starring Duane Martin and Kelly Rowland, produced by Will is being released on DVD on the 21st for anyone not familiar with the movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379487/
  5. Chasing Forever, but that's pretty much tied with 1,000 Kisses for me....you missed a big one lol
  6. well, i wouldn't quite say buttkissing...but ur pretty close on point tho. It just sickens me after his performance and nomination, to not get anything. I was just sooo upset that night, i can remember it like yesterday... I think i was more hurt (feeling sad 4 him) than anything, specially when he had left,...but he turned it around and made positive headlines when Miss Willow got sick... I dont know who sits on their drunk behinds, tosses a quarter and says heads or tails with who gets the awards, but Will got Jipped out of his...and i dont care who disagrees with me either... peace, cookie I'm with you 100% cookie, i thought he got jipped! they coulda gave it to Denzel for his role in John Q before they gave it to him for Training Day....i didn't see the big deal about that movie anyway, but i guess it was more his performance?...anyway i agree Will shoulda won, but it'll happen soon enough i suppose
  7. they were #1 for anybody's who's wondering!
  8. they we're talking about this on WGCI how it was very disappointing to see, i wasn't too shocked actually b/c BET doesn't have the best programming nowadays so i rarely watch it...but i thought they did air it the other day or they're going to?...i thought i saw it in the TV guide, or maybe not....guess they got tired of the negative attention and decided to air it @ the last minute, which i find pathetic....after all the woman and her husband did for the African American community, and people in general it's just ridiculous
  9. no i didn't download it, both my aunt and mom have copies so i added it to the music file on my PC and set my itunes to shuffle so i listen to different songs as they pop up...c'mon gimme a break, have a little faith in me :stickpoke: *cool TopDawg i'll have to let it play next time it pops up...it's kinda hard for me to just sit and go thru the entire album in one sitting...i like "Imagine Me" on there as well, that one stays on repeat :wiggle:
  10. Let It Go- Kirk Franklin has anybody else heard this one? just really simple and honest.....i love it and it's really encouraging me to write, i'm trying to eventually listen to his entire album
  11. guess i can post this info here: VALENTINE'S VIDEO. Love is a game in a six-hour marathon of "Love Connection" and "The Newlywed Game" (tomorrow, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., GSN) ... But it's serious stuff in the documentary "Love & Marriage: Real Journeys" (tomorrow, 7-10 p.m., MSNBC), where filmmaker Fredric Golding follows three couples from around the country for a year, trying to see what makes their relationships tick ... Quantifiable experiments are at the heart of "Naked Science: What's Sexy?" (Monday at 9 p.m., NatGeo), exploring the biology, chemistry and psychology behind sexual attraction ... Celebs try their hand at romance in "Top 25 Hottest Black Couples" (Tuesday at 10 p.m., BET). The list includes Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and even exes like Diddy and Jennifer Lopez ... And then there's Charlie and the Little Red-Haired Girl in "A Charlie Brown Valentine" (Tuesday at 8 p.m., ABC/7). 13. still waiting for more news about the "Will Directed" episode but i found this: UPN’S ‘ALL OF US’ GETS A DOSE OF TISHA CAMPBELL MARTIN Cast members talk to EUR about tonight’s special episode. *“Just when people thought they had the show figured out, we do something else,” says Duane Martin, star of UPN’s hit sitcom “All of Us,” which is quietly churning along in its third season with a big sweeps-style episode set to air tonight. The series, executive produce by Hollywood couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and based on their lives, revolves around entertainment reporter Robert James, played by Duane Martin. He is newly-divorced from Neesee, the mother of their 6-year-old son. But this show lacks the stereotypical babymama/babydaddy drama usually exploited for laughs. As is the case with Will Smith and his real life ex, Robert and Neesee are actually supportive of each other in their quest to co-exist peacefully. But on tonight’s episode, someone is about to shake things up a bit. Martin’s real life wife, Tisha Campbell Martin, will guest star as his sister Carmen, who comes on the scene and – in Tisha’s words – “ wreaks havoc.” “My character likes to lean on my brother a lot,” Campbell Martin says of Carmen. “And he’s always busy with his counterparts, and this particular show, he’s busy with his ex-wife. They’re splitting a business together 50/50 so I can’t get any money out of his pocket – that kinda thing. I come here and fight with Neesee.” LisaRaye McCoy, plays Neesee, chimes in, “You know how that typical sister is, you’re not really ever good enough for the brother? And she kinda wants to figure out, ‘Why is she still around here?’ And he’s like, ‘I got this. I’m the man. I know what I’m doing.’” The show’s entire third season has trained a spotlight on Robert and Neesee's relationship and how they deal with raising Bobby Jr. According to Martin, situations this season “draw them together, while exploring separate personal lives.” “When Will and Jada started with the show, they always said they didn’t want to make a typical sitcom, they waned to make a dramedy,” Martin says. “The first couple of episodes was really dramatic – less jokes, more about real situations and not a lot of laugh tracks. The network freaked out a little bit. The move we made this year was - a lot of people responded to me and Neecee’s relationship - so they moved her in the house. So now, we brought all of the tension in the house to see how we can deal with that – being apart but in the same space.” LisaRaye adds: “With me being a single parent in real life, my baby’s father and I have gone through some same issues as this, and I wish I would’ve had a show like this to show me that I didn’t have to slit his tires and bust his window. …That was a joke.” sourde via google: http://eurweb.com/story/eur24720.cfm

  19. that's crazy, it's been my fave song for the last month or so, including the remix with Jin,which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! and video is nice too, I noticed Hype Williams has this new style of shooting with like this widescreen of one background that's moving then the video playing within it, i can't really explain it, but the song was just jam of the week on MTV jams so they've played it a lot, Robin Thicke's latest video was shot that way as well....it's nice

  21. Will Smith and a channel war Gurbir Singh Mumbai, January 24, 2006 Man-in-black Will Smith is coming to India. Not to promote his new movie title but to launch the third big Hollywood movie channel for India and South Asia. Promoted by Sony Entertainment Television (SET), the channel, to be christened SET Pix, is expected to hit the airwaves by mid-February. "Our launch will kick off with a Will Smith festival -- all his best movies like Hitch, Shark Tale, I, Robot, Independence Day and Wild, Wild West," Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET, told HT. In the new configuration for the South Asian market, SET Pix will source movies from the Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) library which includes Columbia releases too. Pix will also have access to the MGM library. Sony Corp had acquired the studio in September 2004 for $5 billion. Conversely, HBO South Asia - which was launched with licensing agreements with Paramount, Universal Studios, Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers in September 2000 - will lose the Sony/Columbia library. The result: quite a channel war among the main protagonists. A Sony source said HBO wanted to leave the Zee-Turner distribution network and join the Sony alliance. "This is an attempt to nix the launch of SET Pix by some HBO partners, like Warner Brothers, who have an alliance with Zee," said the source. "But this time round, we're not taking HBO on board." HBO has been doing quite a flip-flop ever since it launched in India in September 2000. After initially being distributed by Turner International, HBO joined the Sony platform in January 2003. The marriage lasted just two years. In January 2005, HBO defected to the Zee-Turner alliance. The MGM library of 4,100 films was earlier with Zee too. Following the takeover by Sony, Zee launched it own movie channel, Zee Studio. source via google: http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1606607,0008.htm
