In someway...I know Bigted is right... it's like f*** the sales man. But then u think about it and...what if now... he had sold a million copies...that would be a million more hearing i wish i made that or lost and found. So i also wish he brought a little effort to it...cause as it seems now... the promotion for LF is over... he ain't doing no more shows or anything. So i guess we'll get PS and Tell me why...without any promo... and they'll just fade away as flops or something cause will ain't promoting them. And then we'll have to wait another three years... or maybe forever. Cause this actually felt like a really good last album.. Cause alot of people is like: Man why should he promote, it's the music that counts... well then maybe Will would like the music and the message to come out to more people. He didn't succeed in that way with Switch. It did do good as a single, and also good to make 500k buy the album. But If he had released Partystarter and promoted it in the same way...no doubt he would be at 700,800k.

I highly doubt music piracy is the reason for sales decline atleast in case of Will. All the big mp3 sites which posts the albums getting leaked immediately, didn't even bother to post Lost and Found even after a whole week of it's official release. Finally, only a few sites put them up and that too in ogg format. The rap forums which leaks out albums of 50 Cent, Eminem, etc. didn't put Lost and Found for atleast a month after it's official release date. Even Switch was available only in very very few places when it got released. So people just aren't interested in a rapper who doesn't cuss. ← Nope... you're wrong. When the album leaked the week before release it was hot as a mufu**** . Everybody was hyped about downloading it, It was chaos at this board, on the IC and Sohh aswell as the boards putting up leaked info. So it was def more hot than common or bow wow leaking. But it's just an easy getaway blaiming it only on piracy. Cause Will isn't so hyped anymore either. He choose the wrong first single (yes, partystarter would've been the perfect first single, i really don't see switch's function) even though switch had sucess i think PS would've brought more people to buying the album. He isn't a big priority at Interscope cuz, he ain't that big anymore. It's pretty easy actually, will isn't a huge musicstar anymore. he did too much movies and put the rappingcareer for too much hold.

It's in place 143 in the radio airplay. going up. INterscope is prolly doing what's good for their business. they haven't pushed others albums so much either but they are still the leading label with most sold in hiphop... will is their best selling rapper efter the aftermath clique.

Not that easy. First off: Albums don't sell so much anymore causeo downloading. Second: The public interest in will is fading, that's natural. Thirds: The label and Interscope don't got that kind of money or will to do that kind of promotion, everything costs and everythings a business. Fourth: Will isn't doing this album in collabo with a movie like willenium, Big willie style or Born to reign. This is his first "solo" album if u get what I mean.

With 49% in he has sold 8,676 meaning he is on his way to do 17,5k. I'm losing hope in him doing platinum. it seemed possible after him doing that 20% rise and doing 30k.. but now it feels really bad as he hasn't got anything hot out.

It was the part with only the beat and first i was like': damn i recognize that beat. Then the talking came in and i was like: heeeeey. But the tuned down the talking cause it really wasn't much about the song. It was about a tv-show on relationships between different people. I think it was between a couple that were from different religions, don't really remember.

Why y'all even comparing alicia and kanye? Two different genres. Alicia kan only produce her way of music. Kanye can do both. Alicia is ofcourse better in her genre. But to say she's better overall is like saying Wayne Gretzky is better than Michael Jordan.

I heard it for a couple of weeks ago, but didn't have the chance to write about it, Reflection Eternal will be making a comeback late this year/2006. For y'all that don't know: They did one of the best rap albums Train of Thoughts. Reflection Eternal is Talib Kweli and Dj Hi-Tek. Hopefully they'll bring it back to some true ****. Theu had the chance to be legends if not they had went seperate ways after that album. Talib did do good albums, but nothing that could match Train of thoughts. I'm HYPED!

Okay..I give up this debate. My view on hammer is that he never got the chance to show to the masses how good hos deeper side was. He didn't make an impact with that. I would say in MY eyes he'll be a rememberable artist. Kanye, as i said: only the future will tell. I think he got the potential cuz he is still evolving. Wrong...that's one of the reasons people don't get the chance to be legends anymore. Even if he does an so so or good album. He still got the chance. heard of the sophmore jinx? Ain't partystarter the perfect fusion of those things? I would say food for thought. But he can't continue on the same topics that he's spoken on this album. He should go beyond that. Maybe more storys like afro angel or sumthin. Dumb down ain't never good. Of course he can be a little light, but that wouldn't be interesting.

"Jesus Walks" is an average song about God too, there are a lot of dope gospel rappers out there, Kanye didn't originate that either. I didn't say that Bow Wow song would make him a legend either but if you're saying "Jesus Walks" makes Kanye a pioneer you must be trippin', MC Hammer made songs about God popular, remember "Pray"? ← I don't talk about jesus walks, i'm talking about the whole concept he's doing, even though that is a good song.
