Three 6 Mafia Win First Oscar, Make Hip-Hop History
Frenetic replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Twilight zone... But still, Hustle&Flows is a great flick and the song ain't too bad. -
Ye.. AHH is dope. They're openminded. Something that isn't very common in Hiphop now.
-
Youtube There were some vid's that were funny, If they've been posted before you can just lock this post =). Didn't find a post though. Youtube kicks ass btw.

Best guests performance on WIll's Albums
Frenetic replied to Wild Child's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
So Fresh without a doubt =) U can hate me now, but I like Lil' Kim on Da Butta. -
Actually I don't know how legit it is. Some people over at the IC claim the heard it too. That's why I said i jacked it from AHH, don't know the trueness in it. But it's damn funny =)
-
What are u talking about?
-
If he has done those things, he should be locked up. Doesn't matter how it gets revealed, jealous brother or whatever. The "funny" thing is that the article claims this: - Kelly is a child molester - Kelly is abusive against his wife - He has had sex with alot of udneraged girls - He tries to pay off people to take the blame for what he did. BUT, the "real" bombshell is that he se Bi-sexual? HAHA!

Jacked from AHH: Source: Detroit FM WJLB Radio/Morning Talk Flo' of New York recently reported that So So Def attended a brunch which included a lot of other industry artists. Some from the 60's and some from 2006. In this case, Bow Wow in some strange way came into contact with Ronald Isley of the Isley Brothers. I don't know if Bow Wow had eaten a pack of Ex-Lax before he attended the function, but apparantely he had diarrhea of the mouth. He approaches Ronald Isley with, "My album went gold in it's first week. How many gold albums do you got??" Ronald couldn't believe what he was hearing. But Ronald replied with, "I don't have any gold albums.....But I got 23 platinum albums." Jermaine Dupree overheard the convo and spree'd over to Bow Wow and told him, "Bow Wow, cool out man....You don't even know who you talkin' to right now." MC Serch of WJLB radio replied, "What the hell is wrong wit' Bow Wow??"

Hip-Hop Producer Jay Dilla Has Passed Away
Frenetic replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Just listened to Time Traveling of "Like Water For Chocolate. That's the best beat i've ever heard in my life. Definently the best. -
Jay said he retired cause hadn't anything more to say. He was finished with topics. He didn't want to milk it anymore. He wanted to do good personal songs, but he had no more inspiration. But, that was before his whole life turning around. he got into a fight with his best friend, he solved the Nas thing, He became the CEO of Def Jam, got dissed by Cam'ron and alot more. There is alot to talk about now. I'll always consider TBA as his second best album. It's just perfect, got those fun, happy, positive songs, and the more deep personal. He got newschool beats and topics, and he got Rick Rubin on a track. He had his new a bit slower flow, but ended with his wonderful, groundbreaking, super flow in My First Song. The Album didn't get boring or repetitive as Nas's Street Disciple, or Game's album or Jay's other albums (Except Blueprint). It was short and powerful. I don't see a problem with him returning as long as he makes good music. Can Y'all?

New Lupe Fiasco Interview With Allhiphop.com
Frenetic replied to Turntable's topic in Caught in the Middle
"So when we went to go do “Touch The Sky”, Kanye was like, ‘Yo, it's funny that you did “Conflict Diamond”, because that's the theme to my video, you know what I'm saying? Like little kids getting their hands cut off" How does that make you believe kanye is stupid. The interview was dope. I liked the part about the nerd persona. Sounds funny -
AJ// Expressing yourself isn't your best side. If there were people thinking he retired, would they be dumb for that? U got issues man. ---- I never thought he retires though, he said he won't do anymore albums, but still, he made that unfinished business crap and remixes and so. I'm really glad if he comes back, would be wonderful for the game this year to have new albums from Fugees, Jay-Z, Nas, Dre, Ghostface and LL Cool J.

Hip-Hop Producer Jay Dilla Has Passed Away
Frenetic replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
He died last night, he apparently had liverproblems. Man I had tears in my eyes when I heard that. He's one of the best producers ever. Listen to Commons early stuff, those beats are 10 years ahead of the game. He was up there with Pete Rock, Premier, Jazzy and all the other greats. The last **** he dropped was 3 beats on Commons - Be. He's gone have a couple beats on Ghostface's new album Fishscale. -
AJ, u got a personal prob, take it in a PM. And yeah, i checked the board, didn't see it. Sorry, Y'all can lock this post.

In the new Playboy magazine Kanye says he's going to produce an entire Jay-Z album. A couple of days ago, rumours spread that Dre, Just Blaze and Kanye were going to produce. And since Kanye has a habit of talking a bit too much it's probable that most of the album will be produced by Kanye but also some tracks by Blaze and Dre. Nas's album is going to be produced by Premier, Kanye, Blaze and Dre. No info on when the albums drop.

This was the first time a saw the grammies. And all i gotta say is TO HELL WITH COMMERCIALS! in sweden they got commercials every fifteen minutes. Not evey 5 like the grammies. That sh*t was irritating. Highlights: - Jay,Paul & Linkin performance. - Kanye & Foxx (come on, don't hate, that was an insane show) - U2 getting shine. They deserved it. - Kanye thanking U2 for bringing him on tour. - Bono saying it's Kanye's time next year. - 50 Cent not winning anything. - John Legend winning some sh*t. Can we say U2 are the kings of Music? Basically one of the GOATs in music? Impressing that they stay on top for so long. Right now: U2 - King of Music Mariah - Queen of Pop/RnB Mary J Blige - Queen of Hiphop / RnB Kanye - King of Hiphop.

Frenetic replied to TopDawg14's topic in Caught in the Middle
That's funny =) I heard that contactmusic asked him about the article in the rolling stone and they asked him if he should be in the bible. Kanye laughed and answered pretty jokingly. I don't take these short weird reports serioulsy. -
