  1. That's going to be the line of the summer!! LMAO!!! I can see that being put on t-shirts. I can see fans holding up signs next season saying "Kobe, Tell Me How My A$$ Taste!". I can't see what Kobe could say that would be funnier than that. In other words, Kobe has been ethered.
  2. Apparently Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal still has no love for Kobe. A video has surfaced with Shaq putting Kobe on blast at a N.Y. nightclub last night. Shaq has come out and said not to make much of the freestyle but I'll let you be the judge. Shaq Rips Kobe At N.Y. Nightclub
  3. As always, you bring that real talk to a conversation, Big Sis.
  4. I may have to agree with Turntable on this one. Ice T is a respected veteran in the game and it's beneath him to call out a 17-year-old ringtone rapper. Why even acknowledge Soulja Boy? Anybody with any real knowledge of hip-hop knows Soulja Boy, like Lil Wayne, is straight garbage. There's no need to acknowledge that they even matter. That's like Jordan calling out Sebastian Telfair(FYI: He came to the NBA straight out of high school and has become a bust in the NBA). It's like Peyton Manning calling out Rex Grossman. Everybody knows these dudes suck so why even acknowledge their presence.
  5. I'm not sure what to think about Will's "uncertainty". If he doesn't want to do music anymore then more power to him. As much as I would like new music from him & Jeff together, I'd much rather see him win an Oscar.
  6. Of course they said it wasn't her. They were bought off. Nobody talks about that but it's true. He paid her & her family not to testify. Just like he paid those THREE underaged girls money not to take their case to court. If you're R. Kelly and you are so innocent then why are you paying people off to drop lawsuits and cases? This isn't about paranoia. This is about a man who has serious demons in his closet. Why don't you acknowledge that he did pay off 3 other underaged girls? Why won't you acknowledge that he married a 15-year-old girl, which by the way, is ILLEGAL!!!
  7. Sorry Turntable but her aunt, her uncle and several of her closest friends testified that it was indeed her in that tape. The fact of the matter is that her parents allowed her to be pimped by a child molester. They were paid off just like the other THREE cases R. Kelly was facing in the 1990s that somehow were not covered by the media.
  8. I had to post this link to this website. It's funny how a lot of these folks believe rumors. Most of the people actually think that a) Will is cheating on Jada or b) that Jada is o.k. with Will cheating because they're swingers. Media Takeout Starting Rumors About Will
  9. I got you. I am getting so sick & tired of hearing the comparisons to the GOAT. Kobe will NEVER be as great as #23. When Kobe achieves the following, then we can have this discussion: 6 NBA Titles 6 NBA Finals MVP Awards 5 NBA MVP Awards 14 NBA All-Star Appearances 3 NBA All-Star MVP 10 All-NBA 1st Team Selections 9 All-NBA 1st Team Defense Selections 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year 1985 NBA Rookie of the Year 10 NBA Scoring Titles
  10. What's that old saying? Oh yeah, there's a sucker born every minute... and in this case there are 1 million suckers. This is proof that you can put hot garbage on wax and still sell. I won't knock his hustle but I will say that this album is:
  11. No Big Sis, I'm not... and nothing could have made me happier than watching him go down in flames. P.J. Brown Posterizes Kobe Bryant in Game 4 of the NBA Finals!
  12. Another season, Another Kobe failure!!!! FAILURE. FACE IT, YOU WILL NEVER BE JORDAN.
  13. But that's how the judicial system works in the U.S. If you're rich & powerful, you can get away with anything. This is the same judicial system that gave the big "ballers" at Enron a "slap on the wrist". The same judicial system where CEOs can rob a company blind and then leave with tens of millions. The same judicial system that gave George W. Bush the presidency in 2000. Yes, Bob, it's completely sick what you can get away with if you're rich & powerful.
  14. You obviously didn't catch my sarcasm so let me be clear. I have known the justice system in the U.S. has been corrupt for a long, long time. This court case just continues to add to the trash that this justice system has heaped upon the people for generations. Bottom line is this - R. Kelly should be in jail. O.J. should be in jail and as much as I love MJ he should be in jail. I don't care whether you are rich or not, if you commit a crime then you should be in jail.
  15. Oh well that makes it ok then. :willvspaparazzi: Thats the most ridiculous justification i've heard. So by your logic grown men can have sex with little girls as long as they don't complain. Would your comments still be the same if she was 12 or even 10? I think Turntable is missing the point of this whole thing. Here in the U.S. any man over the age of 21 who has sex with anyone under the age of consent(in most states it's 17) then that man is committing statutory rape. It does not matter whether or not the minor consents to it or not, it's still rape. We have laws in the U.S. to protect minors. A lot of these girls at 14 & 15 are overdeveloped but they are still young and not mature enough to understand these things. Grown men played on the immaturity of these young girls. In the case of R. Kelly he has a long history of this. He married Aaliyah when she was 15 and it was only when the media found out about that Aaliyah's family had the marriage annuled. He paid off not 1, not 2 but 3 girls, all underaged, who was about to rat out this dude. He has been known to drive around Kenwood High School in Chicago. Why is a grown man cruising around a high school? The man has a sickness and he needs serious help. There still may be a federal case pending against him in Florida when pictures were found by authorities in Kelly's home in Orlando with him and a 15-year-old girl. The only reason he was arrested was because it was "alleged" that the authorities obtained an illegal search.
  16. OK I may need to explain this a bit further. Statutory rape is sex with a minor(which is under the age of consent). Whether this girl wanted to have sex with R. Kelly or not she was FOURTEEN when she had sex with him. That is well under the age of consent in the U.S. Under the laws of the United States, it's considered RAPE. I have to disagree strongly with AJ's comments. In this case, sex is not a 2-way street. He took advantage of this girl! He is a grown a$$ man who's supposed to know that having sex with a minor is not only illegal but immoral!
  17. R. Kelly has been found on all counts not guilty in the child porn case. Personally, I'm outraged at this decision because once again it shows that if you have money you can get away with anything in the U.S. Here's the link to the article: R. Kelly Acquitted Of All Charges In Child Pornography Case
  18. ST. PAUL, Minn.---- Barack Obama claimed the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday night in a long-time-coming victory speech that minced no words about his opponent in the fall campaign, Republican John McCain. In prepared remarks, Obama challenged McCain's claims of independence, noting he voted with President Bush 95 percent of the time last year. ''There are many words to describe John McCain's attempt to pass off his embrace of George Bush's policies as bipartisan and new,'' Obama said. ''But change is not one of them.'' The Illinois senator also reached out to Hillary Rodham Clinton, his defeated rival, calling her ''a leader who inspires millions of Americans.'' ''Our party and our country are better off because of her, and I am a better candidate for having had the honor to compete with Hillary Rodham Clinton,'' Obama was to say on the night of the final Democratic contests in South Dakota and Montana and after he earned enough delegates to win the nomination. Reuniting a party divided by the marathon, 17-month battle between the two historic candidates -- a woman and a black man -- will be a top challenge for the Illinois senator moving into a general election race against Arizona Sen. McCain. ''After fifty-four, hard-fought contests, our primary season has finally come to an end,'' Obama said, recalling the day in February 2007 when he announced his candidacy at the Illinois Capitol and the millions who have voted since then. ''Tonight, I can stand before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States,'' he said. Obama planned to deliver the speech from Minnesota's Xcel Energy Center, the arena where McCain plans to accept his party's presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention in September.
  19. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a great weekend. I went to Orlando, FL. with my fiance for the weekend. And to all the wisecracks about me being old: :bat: :chuks: :mikelowery: My "representatives" will be over to "discuss" those comments. LOL.
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG SIS!!!!! :wickedwisdom: :2thumbs:  :Party_fest09: :birthday: Have a happy 25th birthday!!!!
  21. I really like this song. I hope that this is a sign that the old Busta is back. I didn't buy his last album(and that's the only album of his I don't have) becuase I felt he was going the "thug-gangsta" route. It's good to hear & see he's getting back to his original vibe - fun & energetic.

  23. If I'm not mistaken Biggie's Life After Death CD was a double-disc as well. It only sold a bit over 5 million units.
