The actual weekend numbers have been released and I.A.L. fell from #9 to #17 in the U.S. finishing with $2.2 million. Still it was good enough to surpass $250 million and become the the 2nd highest grossing movie of Will Smith's career. The U.S. box office is now being outdistanced by its international counterpart. It snared another $27.5 million overseas and now it looks as though $300 million is not only going to happen but it may finish around $325 million. Weekend Update: I Am Legend is coming toward the end of its U.S. run at the box office. It finished #16 on the weekend box office chart with $2.1 million. However, the movie has now grossed over $250 million in the U.S. and it has become Will's 2nd highest grossing movie(domestic) of his career surpassing 1997's Men In Black and now sits $55 million behind 1996's Independence Day. Its international total by all accounts is supposed to surpass $300 million before its run ends. The movie is expected to surpass $550 million worldwide when its run comes to an end making it Will's 3rd highest grossing international movie of his career. Domestic: $251.6 million Overseas: $262.5 million Worldwide: $514.1 million

That was my first time seeing the interview in full. Cool interview. You can see how much Will loves interacting with people. You can tell that he really loves making movies right now.

It's all people's perception of what good music is. I think that the music is not nearly as good as it was 15 years ago. It's in all genres too. Even music videos are not as good as they used to be. It does go back to an industry that is obsessed with making money and people who think that trash is treasure.

I'd have to say my favorite scene was when Sam ran into the building and Will went in after Sam. The suspense was thrilling. You knew the monsters were in there but it was still very powerful and suspeneful.

Its U.S. total now stands at $247.6 million and looks to finish around $260 million. Should it finish above $250 million it will be Will's second highest grossing movie behind ID4. I define classic not by how the media views or by how many singles are released. The industry is in disarray so I can't judge an album's success by how many singles are released or if the label backs the album. L&F is a classic hip-hop album. I can listen to it all the way through. It has no less than 7 classic songs on the album. Forget that it only sold 700k. Forget that Interscope released one single. Just listen to the album and listen to the content. This is a no brainer - it's a classic.
