  1. I thought I was just seeing things when I read that Michael Jackson is trying to collaborate with 50 Cent but here lies the article: Billboard.com Also, another link to the Chicago Sun-Times: Chicago Sun-Times
  2. WTF?!?!?!? KOBE BRYANT?!? AW, HELL NAW!!!!
  3. Actually, All of Us is one the few UPN/WB shows that will probably be on the new CW Network. Last Wednesday's Chicago Sun-Times had the list of shows on all the networks that were going to be cancelled or renewed and All Of Us was on the renewed list(actually the list was the renewed/presumed safe list). Here's the link: Next Year's TV Shows
  4. Here's an idea for the rappers: STOP MAKING VIDEOS AND SONGS THAT TALK ABOUT MONEY, ICE, CARS AND RIMS!!!! TALK ABOUT SOMETHING IMPORTANT... LIKE ENDING RACISM, CLASSISM AND PROMOTING PEACE AND RESPONSIBILITY!!
  5. Here's the article: Will Smith - An Expert's Opinion
  6. On Monday's episode of "All Of Us", the n-word is used and now the UPN affiliate in Chicago is considering barring the episode from being shown in Chicago. Here's the link to the article in today's Chicago Sun Times: All Of Us Controversial Episode Will & Jada Pinkett Smith directed the controversial episode.
  7. Steve Kerr is the career leader in 3-point field goal percentage if I'm not mistaken. He was a good role player for the Bulls & Spurs and help both teams to their respective championships. He's not a Hall Of Famer and neither is Moutumbo. They were both good players but not great.
  8. That was incredible! Great job! I wish somehow MTV & BET could play it.
  9. I am neither a Stan or a Loretta young man. I've just listened to those CDs long enough to have those songs memorized(and no, I don't listen to them everyday. I just pick up on the lyrics real quick). There are a bunch of hip-hop songs I could rattle off the top of my head. I have to admit I only read the first line of your original post and replied before I realized that it was without music. So take off the following songs: Ring My Bell(Remix) I'm Lookin' For The One Shadow Dreams Don't Say Nothin' I'm Comin' Freakin' It Act Like You Know I Can't Stop Black Suits Comin' Momma Knows
  10. A Nightmare On My Street Brand New Funk(90% of it) Parents Just Don't Understand I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson Summertime Ring My Bell(Remix) You Saw My Blinker I'm Looking For The One Twinke, Twinkle Shadow Dreams Y'all Know Gettin' Jiggy Wit It Don't Say Nothin' Miami Yes Yes Y'all Just The Two Of Us Men In Black I'm Comin' Freakin' It Afro Angel Uuhhh Wild Wild West The Rain Born To Reign Act Like You Know I Can't Stop Black Suits Comin' Block Party Momma Knows All of Lost & Found except The Chosen One, Comin' To The Stage and We Won't
  11. I like his show Wild-N-Out but as a rapper, he's kind of corny. Never really felt him as a rapper. I respect the fact that he's true to himself and didn't go the studio gangsta route but... he's still corny.
  12. Tonight, He Comes is likely gonna film, though it may be pushed back from it's proposed June start. The imdb crew page has people listed like casting director, visual effects supervisor, and production coordinator. I hate to say it but nothing in the movie business is concrete until the filming actually starts. Projects have come this close before until something went wrong and the movie fell apart. I'd wait until the movie is actually in production. No other co-stars have been named yet on Tonight. That's always a tell-tale sign when only one star has "committed" to the film.
  13. As the resident movie guru(lol), I can tell you that Tonight, He Comes is not a done deal just yet. MIB3 continues to be nothing more than a rumor. We also know for a fact that Will can't possibly shoot MIB3 this year as he has other projects in store. Greenbacks is just a rumor as well, although the plot looks to be interesting.
  14. That was cool for T.I. to give props to Will. I believe that Will gets a lot of love from rappers but like Will said: "Plenty of y'all love a brotha/just scared to say it." There are plenty of cats who respect Will but for whatever reason most of them don't choose to air it in public. I guess it would take away from their "street cred".
  15. This remix is much better without Lloyd "G,G,G,G-Unit" Banks! And why is Mary J.'s flow better than most female rappers out now?
  16. I haven't heard the album but the first single, Control Myself, is not that good to me. It sounds like most cookie-cutter music out there right now. The single itself is very formulaic; get beat done by uber-producer(Jermaine Dupri), simplistic lyrics, and of course, the R&B/pop singer on the hook(J. Lo). I hope the rest of the album does not go down the same track as Control Myself.
  17. I don't think NWA was wack at all. They were groundbreaking. Sure, there was a lot of profanity in their music but it wasn't all about drugs, women and money in their music either. They talked about police brutality, racism and other issues in their music as well. I think they should honor NWA as a whole instead of just Eazy. Also, I think it's too soon to induct Wu Tang as honorees when groups like JJFP, De La, Tribe and EPMD have yet to be honored.
  18. The ultimate "Momma" song is Boyz II Men's "A Song For Mama". FP's "Momma Knows" is good and I really like Kanye's "Hey Momma".
  19. For those who didn't know, Will, along with his partner James Lassiter and their production company Overbrook, served as executive producer of "ATL".
  20. Once again, AJ nails it. The Chappelle movie/CD is a cool project but Dave chose the artists to appear in his movie/soundtrack. To say that because Will isn't in that project then he's not relevant is just plain goofy. Kool Moe Dee wasn't in the movie either so is he not relevant or that he hasn't contributed to hip-hop? How about Rakim? Queen Latifah? LL? Will should not have to roll with a certain group of rappers or style of rap to be considered relevant. For crying out loud, Will won the 1st ever Rap Grammy Award!! He's sold over 30 million records worldwide. How many other rappers can say that?
  21. Johansson Tops FHM's 'Sexiest Women' Poll Mon Mar 27, 7:05 PM ET NEW YORK - Scarlett Johansson tops a lovely list of the "100 Sexiest Women in the World," in a poll of readers by FHM magazine. "One of the best things for a woman to hear is that she is sexy," the 21-year-old actress, star of "Match Point" and "Lost in Translation," said in a statement. "I'd like to thank FHM's readers for the huge compliment." Angelina Jolie is No. 2 on the list, followed by Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Keira Knightley, Halle Berry, Jenny McCarthy, Maria Sharapova, Carmen Electra and Teri Hatcher. Johansson ranked ninth on last year's list. Jolie was No. 1. "It's remarkable how Scarlett Johansson has caught the attention of our readers," said Scott Gramling, the magazine's U.S. editor in chief, in a statement. "Her sultry voice and striking beauty certainly have a lot to do with that, but so does the confidence she exudes." "She seems to be one of those women who would be equally at ease on the red carpet as she would just hanging out with the guys." The magazine's May issue goes on sale April 4.
  22. LOS ANGELES - Now that George Clooney's an Academy Award winner, he and his crew are returning to their thieving ways. Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will star in "Ocean's 13," the third flick in their franchise about a gang of lovable crooks, distributor Warner Bros. announced Monday. A supporting-actor Oscar winner for the oil-industry thriller "Syriana," Clooney will reprise his role as leader of the pack Danny Ocean, with the group pulling off a new heist in Las Vegas. Clooney's producing partner Steven Soderbergh, who made the 2001 hit "Ocean's Eleven" and its 2004 sequel "Ocean's Twelve," will direct again. Julia Roberts, Clooney's love interest in the first two movies, and "Ocean's Twelve" co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones will not be back for the third movie, according to Warner Bros. "It was a script issue. We didn't have a place to really use talent like theirs, two big stars like that," said Jerry Weintraub, the franchise's producer. "They're very good friends of ours, and neither Soderbergh nor I would prevail on them to come back and do nothing just to do it." Weintraub said if the filmmakers hit on a good idea to include the actresses, there was a chance Roberts and Zeta-Jones could return. The studio expects the rest of the cast, including Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould, will return. Joining the cast will be Ellen Barkin. Production is scheduled to start in July, with "Ocean's 13" due in theaters in summer 2007.
  23. Best: Krush Groove Funniest: Fear Of A Black Hat
  24. Craig Mack had another hit called "Get Down" and technically the Flava In Ya Ear remix is a totally different song fromt he LP version.
