I'm was just making light of the truth. If u think back on the Oscars, they typically on focus on a select few movies every year. It's impossible for most movies 2 get any love. Usually they focus on movies I had little desire to see and didn't. That's why I used to like MTV Movie Awards....cuz all movies get love on them. Most of my favorite movies that I find the most entertaining aren't that brilliant or dignified enough 2 get shine on the Oscars. And it is mostly white people getting love at the Oscars. That's why they make such a big deal with someone who isn't white wins something.

I didn't watch them. Every year I see it as a bunch of white people dressed up winning awards for movies I don't care about. I'm sure out of the entire show there was probably a half hour worth of stuff I'd like watching. It just isn't worth watching the whole thing 2 find them.

I gave it a minute and a half....I couldn't bare it. In my opinion, it's straight trash.

Ah, this isn't the actual music video. U can find it on the Season 2 DVD set I believe. What makes it even funnier is that Jazzy actually remixed this for the CD single.

I definitely feel better after reading this. Is is one of the greatests ever. Gang Starr is one of the greatest groups ever. It seemed way too soon for one of Hip-Hop's pillars to be silenced.

I like it for what it is. Nothing would be a summery Hip-Hop remix of the song but I do like this for what it is. It is well done and so is the video. Thanx 4 sharing.

Lil' Wayne isn't making music to uplift people. He's not promoting anything positive in his own music. So why, all of a sudden, does he wanna jump on a song that's about improving the state of the world? Mash that up with the fact that nobody over the age of 13 takes him seriously, the fact that he has no talent, and the fact that he is using a trendy gimmick on his vocals in a song that should be iconic. There some other artists on there that I'm not a fan of but it doesn't bother me that they are on the song because I don't view them doing this song as a way to be included with other great artists or to look good. I'm not viewing them as totally fake when it comes to the message. THAT is my issue. Not that fact that a wack rapper got included on a great song....tho' it doesn't help matters.

Actually it's from DJ EZ Rock + Rob Base...JJ+FP and a ton of other Hip-Hop groups have sampled their hit.

That was my biggest issue. U can't take anything autotune seriously. It requires no talent to use it. Why is that crap on the song. Even as a big LL fan, I don't know that the rap bit at the was necessary. They should have handled it like Jermaine Dupri's "What's Going On" which had like 8 different versions, one of them being a Hip-Hop version (a dope song). All the other rappers just standing by LL look awkward. Lil' Wayne shouldn't have been welcome...neither should have a few other rappers there. Overall it is a great song with a great message.

Fugees to Reunite in Support of Haiti? * Posted Feb 25th 2010 7:45PM by Sharks Rumors of a Fugees reunion are making the rounds again, this time, in the form of a benefit concert for the people of Haiti. According to Bossip.com, a "close friend" of former Fugee Pras says that the now-defunct New Jersey rap group have been discussing a possible reunion. Wyclef and Pras, who are both Haitian, and have done an incredible amount of work to raise awareness and funds for Haiti, have confirmed that they would perform a reunion show for the earthquake-stricken country. "That's the only reason I would think about doing anything on that level," Pras told MTV. The person holding up the reunion is, predictably, estranged former member Lauryn Hill. Bossip's source claims she's interested, but has yet to formally commit that she will perform. Fugees reunion or otherwise, Wyclef has made a Herculean effort with his charity, Yéle Haiti, raising over $2 Million towards the Haitian relief fund.

Another project I simply wouldn't care about until a week before it hit theaters.

Man, and Canibus was doing so well with his sold out shows and platinum albums. Now I predict career-death.....lol. (Sarcasm intended). I was never really a Canibus fan. And Nelly, come on. Sometimes KRS-One goes over the deep end but I see that as someone with a strong love for something that is completely misunderstood to the masses. I know that whenever one of my friends thinks that Lil' Wayne represents Hip-Hop I have the urge to slap them before sitting them down for a 1 hour lecture. That's kinda how I see KRS when he goes off the deep end. KRS is one of the greatest. Period.

It's about time Tim show some hope for JJ+FP again. It's been awhile since that's happened...lol.

I have Snoop's new album but I haven't listened to it in a couple weeks. I liked more than half of the songs on it but some of them aren't that great. It's really the production and guest artists that end up being the weaker moments. Snoop himself stays pretty consistent.

That's whole "Exit 13 is my last album" thing didn't even last a year. And even after he said that he did at least 3 tracks. I was listening to him a lot last week. I can't wait for new stuff.

Wow, he's too old to be acting like and idiot. Get it 2gether!
