I like Jay-Z not doing his predictable flow...but i'm not in love with his flow. Kanye sounds good 2 any of that Heartbreak + 808 crap but he'll never be better than below average. His voice just doesn't command any attention and his lyrics and flow are always a bit sloppy. I like Rihanna on the hook. I can't wait til she desides 2 be pretty again. Time 2 throw on some acoustic 2 fall asleep 2...i'm thinking about my man Keirnan McMullan... p.s. Brakes, page 60...u know what that means...

Yeah, i don't wanna claim to be a know-it-all or anything but "Summertime" is straight Fresh Prince. His lyrics, style, and writing parttern of each era are so strong that u can tell when it's all him...and Homebase is all him. I was listening 2 it on the way home from work 2day and just being sucked back in 1991. Classic FP.

Funny. Was FP properly interviewed during that show...cuz it looks like i missed this one. I've never seen it before.

This is the 1st time this has happened since 1951! It entered the charts in May 2008 and after the 1st 6 weeks it has stayed in the top 40. Black Eyed Peas have been in the top spot for 20 weeks...this record broke Usher's in 2004 for "Yeah" and "Burn."

I mean, it looks alright for being F 2 the A 2 the K 2 the E. Nobody else's name would go b4 FP's and like pointed out earlier her, he's be on the poster. Not sure why that 3rd name is there tho.'

How did commercial rap get 2 where it is from where real Hip-Hop started.

Here's something I came across that has Eminem's earliest work to be "un" released yet. To me it sounds like it's from 1992ish. I didn't get 2 listen 2 the lyrics but he's on a totally different tip. The pictures are hilarious and dope at the same time...ha ha. Very interesting 2 hear. There's also a silly (yet crappy) song called "MC Hammer Vs. It's good 2 see they are finally moving on with this. I don't know if everyone is still following up on the news....Janet has finished shooting the sequel to Why Did I Get Married and is working on a new album with Jimmy Jam + Terry Lewis. There's talks of a Jackson 8 tour that she'll headline. I also saw that MJ's doctor put up a video on YouTube and isn't straightening out any of the wrinkles in the story of his last 24 hours.

I just read another article on AOL's Pop Eater where it says she's opening for Kanye West?! She goes onto say how gay she is, how gay her music is, how gay her fans are and how gay her show is....ha ha. Being gay is one thing the Hip-Hop community has never taken well. How is the audience who is coming 2 see Kanye going to take this...ha ha. Wait a minute, after his last album, how many real Hip-Hop fans does he have left.?? The character thing is totally accurate. She just said that she was physically bi and emotionally straight in an article i read awhile ago. Now she's gay. "Artists" who play games like this rarely last. How long can u pretend 2 be something else b4 u start 2 hate yourself? It's usually about as long as the fans stick around.

Why do people believe crap like that. Until Code Red, JJ+FP was very exclusive 2 themselves. They almost never had guest emcees, singers, producers. "Summertime" is straight JJ+FP. Jeff has confirmed that no one else wrote "Summertime"...the article may even be somewhere in this post.

Maybe the next one could be Best Hip-Hop Albums. I think that one would be interesting. If the album can be previewed on Amazon or something, that might be an interesting poll.

Yeah, but when did u actually have to lack talent and go out of your way 2 make music that sucks 2 get famous? I mean, so much of the music on the charts is so bad that they had 2 put the same effort into making it that bad as they could have 2 make it good. It's not even lazy anymore. I think the movie Idiocracy is coming true.

I just saw a video clip of her performing "Poker Face" acousticly in Japan with a elephant worked in2 her hair (?). That performance shows just how good she can sing, how she appear respectably (no comment on the elephan tho'), and she is infact a MUSICIAN (she was awesome on the piano). Why write stupid lyrics and do stricly dance music when u have this kind of talent. I was impressed.
