I saw this a few days ago when my friend sent it 2 me. All of the people leaving comments were not understanding the concept of sarcasm...ha ha. -
I saw this artcile on AOL....it's making me cry... ------------------------------- Dying Girl Granted Wish to See 'Up' AP posted: 1 DAY 17 HOURS AGOcomments: 341filed under: Good NewsPrintShareText SizeAAAHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 19) -- Colby Curtin got her final wish. The 10-year-old girl desperately wanted to see the new Disney-Pixar movie, "Up." But the cancer-stricken girl was too sick to go to a theater. Thanks to a family friend who got in touch with the movie studio Pixar, an employee of the Emeryville-based company arrived at Colby's home with a DVD copy of the movie, The Orange County Register reported Friday. The girl died later that night. Colby's mother, Lisa, said she had asked her daughter if she could hang on until the movie arrived. "I'm ready (to die), but I'm going to wait for the movie," she said her daughter replied. "Up" is the animated tale of a grumpy old man who, after his wife's death, tries to fulfill their joint dream of visiting South America by tying thousands of balloons to his house and floating away. "When I watched it, I had really no idea about the content of the theme of the movie," Colby's mother told the Register. "I just know that word 'Up' and all of the balloons and I swear to you, for me it meant that (Colby) was going to go up. Up to heaven." Colby, who was diagnosed with vascular cancer in 2005, saw previews for the film in April. "It was from then on, she said, 'I have to see that movie. It is so cool,'" family friend Carole Lynch said. But the girl's health began to deteriorate. On June 4, Curtin asked a hospice company to bring a wheelchair so that her daughter could go to a movie theater but the chair was not delivered over the weekend, Curtin said. By June 9, Colby was too sick to go anywhere. Another family friend, Terrell Orum, called both Pixar and Disney, which owns the animation studio. The message was received by Pixar officials, who agreed to send someone to Colby's house the next day with a copy of "Up" for a private screening, Orum said. The employee arrived with the DVD, stuffed animals of characters and other movie memorabilia. Colby was unable to open her eyes to see the movie so her mother described the scenes. When her mother asked if she enjoyed it, the girl nodded, Curtin said. The Pixar employee left after the movie, taking the DVD, which has not been released. Lynch, who was with the family during the screening, said the employee's "eyes were just welled up." A call to Pixar seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday. Colby, with her parents nearby, died later that night. Her mother said one of the memorabilia left by the Pixar employee was an "adventure book" based on a scrapbook that, in the movie, is kept by the wife of the main character. "I'll have to fill those adventures in for her," Lisa Curtin said of her daughter.

JJFP.com Greatest Rapper Of All Time
JumpinJack AJ replied to Da Brakes's topic in Caught in the Middle
That hurt my head. -
I do think FP is better than Ice Cube. I don't think Ice Cube has been on that top notch level since the mid-90's. Brakes said that the Snoop victory over LL was a misprint. THANK GOD!! And personally, i do think Kel Spencer is much better than Biggie. I'm not here to disrespect B.I.G but i have never really liked him much. I never liked his voice or delivery. His lyrics never stood out 2 me. The only think that i think he really had down was his flow. It was very old school in the sense that he often WROTE his rhymes so that he could put extra emphasis on his flow.

I haven't watched this in awhile. It's fun every time. I was watching The Kenan Ivory Waynes Show when this episode aired. Takes me waaaaay back.

It's not hard 2 be real. U can still nod your head 2 where u come from...but nobody is supposed 2 stay in the same place in life. There's no shame in moving on. Music should 2. Tell an old story if it's really necessary, but with all that growth in life, it's basically sinfull 2 make stupid, pointless, fake music. Share your growth with your listener. On top of that, with gangsta rap, u are exploiting a negative lifestyle...it's not like they are lyrically staying in one place 2 push positivity. FP and LL were never gangsta, but listen 2 their recent albums, part of them is very much like when they came out...but all of their growth they've gone thru' is in there 2. With gangsta rap, u are basically stuck on the following topics....weed, drinking, drugs, guns, and sex. 2 stay there in your music is immature, stupid, repetitive, and uninspiring. There is no second story in the house of gangsta rap. I once heard the phrase "Gangsta Rap is wack"....and i agree.

"Oh my absolute God!" is right...ha ha.

Ugh...heartbreak and disappointments all over the place for me personally.... Mos Def vs Guru (DON'T AGREE...BUT I CAN'T BELIVE HOW 1 SIDED THIS ONE WAS) Mos Def wins with 100% Nas vs Talib Kweli (DON'T AGREE...CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS THIS 1 SIDED) Nas wins with 78% Kel Spencer vs Biggie (SAME HERE) Biggie wins with 78% Snoop vs LL Cool J (HECK 2 THE NIZZO...WAS THE BOARD HIGH FOR THIS ONE?) Snoop wins with 89% Pharoah Monche vs Monie Love (NOT SURPISED BUT SURPRISED BY HOW 1 SIDED IT WAS) Pharoah Monche wins with 78%

Mariah's New Album title; Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel
JumpinJack AJ replied to ant1's topic in Caught in the Middle
That remix is awful. Gucci Mane sucks. The beat is common and trendy. I could only see myself listening 2 this on a late nite in the car with friends if this was sandwiched between good Mariah songs. Next... -
I really don't care about any of these. Just give me an album...I'll settle for an E.P.

I think we are the only ones who thought this was funny.

I actually like him on the mic. I just don't like it when a grown man who is rich, married, in shape, and living in a nice neigborhood pretends 2 be in the midst of a gritty gangsta scene in the middle of the hood, broke, drinking up and smoking up, and sleeping around. I think this flow, delivery and voice are actually pretty good. He has shown over the years that he can make music that is good, relevant, and progressing. It's becuz he's faking it in half of his music lyrically that make me don't resect him. In 1996 when he was saying "Gangsta Rap is dead...gangsta rap is wack" and was talking about making positive Hip-Hop music and real music without cussing, dropped the Aftermath album...but then changed right back 2 get more fame, i lost most of my respect for him. We already know how he feels and where he's at mentally...so why make simple, uninspiring music? I love the interlude on The Show soundtrack where he calls gangsta rap strictly "entertainment."

JESSICA SIMPSON - I Belong To Me A Public Affair (Special Edition) (2006)

I don't remember him mentioning Nothing Gold in the past. The Underground Railroad wasn't really a group 2 my knowledge. I always interperted it as a side to Digital Underground that was basically a team that backed 2Pac. 2Pac had so many projects and ideas. When he spoke about them, he probably hadn't even started half of them. He probably only had plans to do them.
-
FP is real...Dr. Dre is fake...no they shouldn't. Unless Dre wants 2 go back to that "Gangsta Rap is dead" attitude and make positive, real Hip-Hop music, there's simply no need for them 2 work 2gether. Dre turned his back on the whole concept of Aftermath and surrounded himself with common, simple, ignorant people 2 make music that is often phoney and pointless.

Sitcom Saga: TV Mom Claims Will Smith Was No Prince

I was just about 2 post this same article. -
I've breezed thru' this interview but haven't gotten 2 read it word for word yet. I can't wait 2. On related note, those of u who live in the US, Wal-Mart has a double disc unathorized 2Pac documentary for just $5. It's one of the movies tagged onto the Madea Goes To Jail display stands.

I got the album but haven't listned 2 it much. I've gotten some other music that i've been listening 2 more. When i initially listened 2 the album, i thought it was alright but I wanted more. Don't get me wrong, i'm anxious 2 listen 2 it again. I just wish it was straight Hip-Hop.

My friend showed me this earlier 2day. This cracked me up. There was some skit on the Country Music Awards where Taylor Swift was saying how she had all this ridiculous dreams. On of them was 2 do a thugged out Hip-Hop record with T-Pain. This is comical genious right here...and she's better than most commercial rappers on the radio right now...ha ha... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXsnCb1jntc&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXsnCb1jntc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I never thought it was him and had no idea it was such a speculated thing.

I'm fully aware of what we are voting on...Mos Def simply isn't on Guru's level.

Ha ha...yeah, i can groove 2 an Aqua song from time to time. The lyrics are simple and funny. That 80's beat fits. I'd like 2 hear a upbeat club mix 2 this tho.'
