NICE & SMOOTH - Funky For You (self-titled) (1989) Classic joint from one of Hip-Hop's most underrated groups. For those who care, this joint is the one that they pretty much jacked for the Tatyana Ali + Kel Spencer joint on the Wild Wild West soundtrack.

Yeah, Eminem would probably be doing some promoting if he were really dropping a new single. And him having a 50 Cent song AND "chopped and screwed" version of ANY of his songs...especially one that's nearly 10 years old as a single, just seems very silly. Even tho' my respect for Eminem has vanished in the last few years, i don't think he's stupid 2 make a move like that. The picture of that "cover" also looks old. I guess we'll find out. And how would a song called "Bad Influence" be retitled to "Black Juice." The title of a song like that sounds weird coming from a white rapper anyway. The fact there is a quote of him saying the song didn't do what he wanted it 2 do also makes no sense since it wasn't on any of his albums?!? The whole thing is just weird.

Most of his movies are like that. It would be silly 2 go back and do more of most of them. Bad Boys and Men In Black did well becuz they are the kinda movies that could have sequels. And with strong scripts, they could go back and do it again. All of his other movies...not so much. It doesn't matter how "good" a script would be, there is no reason even consider something else for Independence Day (which is exactly why FP refused 2 do it and why they couldn't get the project started after they tried) and I Am Legend.

Yeah, i have this on my "Real Slim Shady" CD single. It was done either for The Slim Shady LP or right after it came out. It's an okay, but not on the level of his other stuff at the time. I don't see why he would re-release, remix, or re-record an old song when he's no where near where he used 2 be musically. Whatever, as long as we don't hear anything as stupid as most of the singles from his past 2 albums.

Quo waz this kiddie Rap duo signed 2 Michael Jackson's label back in the day. I think i kinda liked one of their songs. I know i have their CD but i only listened 2 it once. That CD is in a box under 4 other heavy boxes of CDs. Next time i'm in that box i'll see if that song is on the soundtrack. I'm sure it's just vocal or instrumental sample in the mix of the song.

Exactly...i have yet 2 hear anything that is "chopped and screwed" that isnt' crap. So when i hear something that isn't, i won't generalize. And i've only ever heard songs that are already garbage GET chopped and screwed. Eminem having a song that's "chopped and screwed" is an even funnier idea.

Mark my words...this ridiculous idea of a movie will not happen.

Why re-release an old song as a new single...that's just stupid. Am i remembering this 2 be a Hip-Hop/Rock track from 1999/2000ish? I remember the song being okay but not nearly as good as his other stuff at the time. Wasn't it on the "Real Slim Shady" import single? ...and anything "screwed and chopped" is trash.

The Diddly diddly D is back!! I love this joint. Don't get me wrong, i would love some straight Hip-Hop, but this track is the jam. And u can't even tell how annoying Olivia is on this track. She's sounds good! I remember Heavy D said back in the mid '90's that his next album was gonna all Dancehall/Reggae but that never happened. I really like this...i'm glad 2 finally have him back. It's been 9 years since he's last album!! That joint his produced on the last Timbaland + Magoo album was ill. I want more Heavy D...even if the whole album is dancehall. Thank u for posting this!! Heavy D may be my 3rd favorite emcee.

It waz probably when i had a show connecting and couldn't check most of the goodies put up on the board. Was this on any kinda home video. I haven't gotten time 2 do any real research, but y'all know i would get this 2 complete the most complete JJ+FP collection ever.
