  1. Yeah, i mean, how good of a compliment is that? And how many people are in the line for that title when it comes 2 being sucessful...ha ha.
  2. TAJ MAHAL + DJ JAZZY JEFF - Squat That Rabbit Like Never Before (1991) Man, i found out about this song almost 10 years ago and i haven't heard it until just now. There isn't nearly enough Jazzy Jeff in it...but oh well. Something "new."
  3. Jim Carry is the man!! In Living Color is one of my favorite shows of all time. His skits and music videos were hilarious. His Vanilla Ice video is legendary. The Snow is is equally as funny. I hated Vanillia Ice back then and this parody cracked me up2 no end. I'm still a big fan of Snow, but that doesn't mean i didn't find this parody hilarious. Classic stuff. Off the top of my haid, my favorite Jim Carry movies are Bruce Almighty, Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, and The Mask. I can't say i'm a big fan of the more mature or quirky stuff.
  4. Skillz put all that nicely. We all know Eminem did a song with Jazzy Jeff before he got real big. I personally didn't know he did a song with FP as well. I did "hear" about them meeting in the studio and Em humbly gave FP props. I admire Skillz sticking up for the 'Prince like that. Thanx 4 posting this!
  5. Wow! It's $9 here. There is another theater around here that i think has tickets for like $7...i really need 2 find it. There's a cheaper theater at the edge of the next state...if gas prices weren't so high it would be worth the extra drive for the lower prices i hear they have. But $16 is ridiculous. Most DVD's are cheaper than that.
  6. I love that it smashed Spidey. Don't get me wrong, i like Spider-Man...but he's no compeition 2 Batman. And besides...that last Spider-Man movie was "ehhhh."
  7. Awesome article. I love how he brags on himself when necessary but is also down 2 earth, positive, supporting. There were a few places where he could have gotten gritty on his opinion of something but he took the high road. No negative vibes, cussing, or disrespecting. I was inspired just be reading that and i can't wait 4 the new album. I like how he abandoned most of the stuff he did with 50 Cent. And even tho' some are scratching there heads about the Lil' Wayne comment, notice he only complimented his work ethic...the fact that he has recorded so much. He didn't say anything about him actually having skills or making relavant music. That's like complimenting an ugly person on their clothing 2 make them feel good...ha ha.
  8. Besides...those movies have him doing HIS thing...that "Will Smith" thing...and those are the movies that would most likely have a Fresh Prince joint on the soundtrack.
  9. U both are saying what i would say if someone else had the same thing happen 2 them...ha ha. My estrogen was at an all time high when i left. I'm supposed 2 be rehearsing for my show after work...but i'm considering going 2 Batman instead. We'll see. :::hangs head in shame:::
  10. Musically, Big Willie Style is the blandest album if we are talking about production. Lost + Found has a solid, heavier sound. Born To Reign was different and experimentals. And Willennium had the best, most classic and timeless sound...tho' some of the mainsteam ready tracks inturuppted the flow. Big Willie Style's production is good and perfect for it's time, but there were alot of samples. They were pulled off nicely, but still, the album is mostly samples. And the over sound is straight forward. No bells, whistles, no stretching...just good beats. It's not a bad thing, but when being compared 2 the other albums, is feel that BWS is the standard, the most basic, and the blandest.
  11. My friend won tickets 2 a Snoop Dogg show 2morrow night. I can't wait 2 hear her review. Snoop isn't really known for his performances...and the ones i have from back in the day aren't that impressive. But the LL comment wasn't cool. LL has always been a deverse artist. Snoop on the other hand didn't start branching out lyrically until the 2000's. Most of his best work was from 1991-1993. U can't talk about weed and gangsta tales all your life from the hills. RUN-DMC - Bounce Collections (1993/2006)
  12. I'm already upset that i didn't see the midnight showing when it 1st was showing. Well, i thought i waz FINALLY gonna see it 2nite but 2 my surprise, the girl i took out 2nite wanted 2 see another movie. That's right, i just gave my arm and a leg to see Mama Mia. If i die before i see The Dark Knight i'm gonna be seriously mad.
  13. VIBE usually does a decent job at this stuff. Especially the way they show love 2 the old school. Not this time around...
  14. Ahhh...thanx...if he's gonna do another movie, let's see them do another Bad Boys or Men In Black.
  15. If FP really puts his "faith" in the same crap, he could find himself in the same place in a year or 2. Can't say i care much about the movies...give me an album...a soundtrack song...SOMETHING!!
  16. That's the worst list for something like this...what a joke!?
  17. Only his royal freshness can have the media pay for saying something stupid like that. They get away with saying pretty much anything these days. I'm surprised.
  18. ROBIN THICKE - Magic Something Else (2008) He's back...and it's good!! Can't wait 2 hear some slow jams off the album tho.'
  19. Is it just me or is the site very inconsistant on the music that it plays. Sometimes i go on there 2 vote and they have something really good that i'd wanna check out...and sometimes it's awful commercial crap that u hear on the radio?
  20. Same here...i just turned on VH-1 and the video is playing. This is probably my favorite song off her album. The video is just as beautful as the song.
  21. BRANDY - Angel In Disguise Never Say Never (1998) Classic late 90's album!!
  22. Brakes! That is my favorite Prince song!! LL COOL J - Hi Haterz The Return of The G.O.A.T. (2008)
  23. What's "Summertime?" (((INSERT HUGE SIGNATURE HERE THAT TAKES 2 MINUTES 2 SCROLL DOWN THRU')))
  24. Well, that's the truth. I'm not sure if the pregnancy excuse is someone political justification of it...but it's commonly known that there were conflicts with her and FP.
