I got a good bit of cassettes from back in the day. And i've come 2 this conclusion. U won't make money off of them by selling them (unless they are kinda rare, like Rock The House)...so either u hold on 2 them as collectors items...or just trash them...ha ha.

I seriously hope u have all that on CD...otherwise whatever respect u have here is gone out the door. Let's all remember enjoy_summertime. She sold her JJ+FP and waz never heard of again (4 the most part).

TOBYMAC - Made To Love Portable Sounds (2007)

Listen 2 the beat. The beat alone is flawless, but then u have FP droppin' lyrics that go against what every other rapper says. Instead of bragging about being all that, he's saying he's down 2 earth, reguardless of the success in music, TV, and movies. The concept and lyrics are great. And his flow is straight and 2 the point. Then u got Jazzy on the catchy hook. For someone who loves a rapper who likes 2 poorly sing on half of his songs, i can't see why u would think this song is "cute" and for "children."

JENNIFER LOPEZ - Apresurate Como Ama Una Mujer (2007) I don't know Spanish, but i do know i love this song. This really makes me wanna hear her english stuff coming out this summer/fall.

I just watched all of the bonus features for The Pursuit of Happyness and i must say that did it right (not 2 long...but not short). MAKING PURSUIT: AN ITALIAN TAKE ON THE AMERICAN DREAM: This featurette focuses mainly on the director. How FP watched 2 of his movies a few years ago and handpicked him for the movie becuz of the moods he created in the movies he had seen. FP and The Hammer J.L. say that they knew he waz the guy when he said during a meeting that "the American Dream isn't fully understood by Americans, but by people who struggle outside of America. They also talk about the struggle of directing when u barely know english...ha ha. FP, along with the rest of the cast have alot of good interview bits in the featurette. It also gives crazy props 2 FP, talks about Jaden, the set, and Chris Gardner. FATHER AND SON: ON SCREEN AND OFF: This featurette talks about the 'Prince working with his son and their relationship. It talks about the risk of casting Jaden and how he truely waz the best choice 2 play Christopher. THE MAN BEHIND THE MOVIE: A CONVERSATION WITH CHRIS GARDNER: This featurette focuses the man himself. It opens with FP talking about him on the set of the movie (on FP's b-day). I points out how so much of the movie waz pulled from real life and that the guy who crosses paths with FP and Jaden in that last shot is Chris himself. INSIDE THE RUBIK'S CUBE: THis featurette talks about the Rubik's Cube, how it waz created and it's history and ties it in2 the movie. "I CAN" SONG: This is an audio-only feature. It's a song by Be Be Winans and Dave Koz. It's a beautiful inspirational song. I will buy the soundtrack if this song is on the soundtrack. DELUXE EDITION - !!!TARGET EXCLUSIVE!!! THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS - JOURNEY INTO THE AMERICAN DREAM: This hour-long featurette covers much of the stuff already talked about in the regular special features, but takes the info much further and much deeper. There are a few bits that are taken from the regular special features, but don't make that a reason 2 NOT get the Deluxe Edition with this bonus feature. It's loaded with FP interviews as well as interviews from the rest of the cast. It talks about the casting, the set and on-location shooting, Chris Gardner, the music, etc. DELUXE EDITION - !!!TARGET EXCLUSIVE!!! THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS: BOOK ON (MP3) CD I haven't popped this in the computer yet, but it obiously, this is the reading of the book that the movie is based on. The Target Deluxe Edition is definitely what most fans will wanna get if u remotely like this movie. POH is flying off the shelves. While i waz in various stores today, i watched customer after customer picking up POH (and Happy Feet). I got kinda upset becuz i thought they had sold out when i 1st got there, but found one after some serious digging (the new release section waz totally sold out, i had 2 find it mixed in with all the other stuff, and most of those had already been sold.

Yeah, sale prices have gotten pretty good over the years. It helped alot when they started dropping the prices of CDs back in 2003ish (which is another reason i don't understand why people don't by more CDs). Anyways, i didn't get 2 swing in 2 Wal-Mart 2 see what their "bonus" waz for POH. I waz thinking about it and i think it waz packaged with the soundtrack or at a bonus CD. I just watched all the bonus material so i'm gonna sum it up in a seperate post. I will say that it's definitely worth getting the Target Deluxe Edition.

The Pursuit of Happyness is out 2day on DVD. Go out and support FP and pick up the DVD. Here's a run down on the sale prices that i've come across. TARGET Target has the best deal. Target has a Deluxe Edition that contains 2 bonus discs. One of the is a DVD that contains 'Behind The Scenes' footage. The other bonus disc is the book on CD. The price of the Deluxe Edition is $22.99. CIRCUIT CITY CC doesn't have the price clearly advertised. But it is next to Happy Feet which is $13.99. I'm not sure if they share that same sale price. However, CC has a "2 for $20" deal which makes it so that u can buy POH and another FP movie for a total of $20. The other movies u can purchase with POH for that special are Hitch, I, Robot, and The Legend of Bagger Vance. BEST BUY Best Buy also doesn't clearly list the sale price. It next to Happy Feet in the ad which is priced at $16.99. BB also has a "2 for $20" deal. U can purchase the POH with either Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, or Men In Black and get 2 of the DVDs for $20. WAL-MART Wal-Mart rarely has a "sale price" so i guessing the movie is about $19.99. I may not be remembering this correctly, but i thought i saw a poster in Wal-Mart about 2 weeks ago that stated that Wal-Mart had some kinda bonus item. I'll probably check that out 2day and confirm if anything comes with the purchase of POH.

Apparently Musiq is letting every emcee and rapper who wants, drop a verse or 2 on the song. Either that or mixtape DJ's are blending vocals or other people are simply dropping vocals over the already-finished song. I haven't heard the remix with Kel on the radio since that 1st time about 2 months ago. But since then, i've heard another duo of wack rappers on another 'remix.' Yeah, it's rediculous how "professional" writers get to keep their job even tho' they put so much of their own opinions and feeling in2 what they write. They act like people posting on a message board. On top of that, they don't even do research on the people they talk 2.
