  1. COMMON SENSE - They Say Be. (2005) Coincidence!
  2. The tracks with CL Smooth, Raheem Devaughn, Little Brother, + Rhymefest are on the EP.
  3. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - What Goes Around...Comes Around Futuresex/Lovesounds (2006)
  4. Yeah, Ne-Yo is a big talent. His lyrics and production are what i find the most refreshing about his music...but he voice is good 2. I can't wait 4 the new album. I also like Frankie J (tho' i thought a few of the songs on his latest album were a lil' bit on the lighter end of things). I like alot of Chris Brown's music 2. Especially the fact that he's coming out and not being one of those thugged-out, wanna be artists that isn't a good role model 4 kids who are in2 music. Back 2 Ne-Yo tho'...i thought all of his singles were amoungst the best R-N-B singles of 2006.
  5. Yeah. The station i 1st grew up on WPGC 95.5. When i waz 11 or 12 i discovered WKYS 93.9. Being bigger, more established stations, they play a bit more variety of old and new, good and bad, etc. But even now, i can barely listen 2 them. They are just polluted with trash. My local one WDLD 96.7 is straight trash. It's 4 years old and just plays music...the same few songs. They play a few good songs, an okay amount of average stuff...but at least 60% is pure garbage. It's weird hearing a real song with real production and real lyrics right next 2 a song with no real lyrics, watered down boring production, and no fire 2 it right next 2 a good on. The commercials are probably the best thing on the radio these days...ha ha. The funny thing is that "Shooter" didn't get any play, which waz more likely 2 get spins, but "Lost Without You" turned out 2 be the break thru' it.
  6. THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. f/ RALPH TRESVANT + JA-RULE - Want That Old Thing Back Greatest Hits (2007) I was peepin' this out since i love Ralph Tresvant...but this beat and Ja-Rule are gonna make it hard 4 me 2 wanna listen 2 this again.
  7. Yeah, it's definitly an accomplishment that he's gotten the success he has. I saw him do his thing on Letterman the other day. And my local Hip-Hop/R-N-B station that only plays garbage started actually playing "Lost Without You" just 2 or 3 weeks ago...ha ha. I've been trying 2 track down the sampler with the songs he ended up not putting on the album for awhile now.
  8. I waz gonna get that boxset, but didn't. I ready lots of online interviews saying that they rushed the project. DVDs where loose in the case and scratched up. They included the 2000 versions of Superman III and Superman IV (not the deluxe versions w/ special features). Some people got sets that were missing discs and/or had finger prints all over the DVDs. As hard as it waz, i slept on it and got Christoper Reeve Superman Collection, and the new movie seperate. I know i'm missing out on some stuff...i considered getting it when they re-release it without all the mess ups.
  9. I can't believe u slept this long. U are gonna love it...trust!
  10. This is 4 the handful of Superman fans on the board. I FINALLY got 2 watch The Richard Donner Cut of the movie. And i gotta say...IT'S GOOD. For those of u reading this and don't know the history, 2 make a long story short, Richard Donner, the director of the 1st Superman movie that came out in 1978 was shooting for the 2nd movie at the same time. After months of going over the budget and taking 2 long 2 make them, the shooting stopped for Superman II when they were about 85% done. The idea waz 2 drop Superman: The Movie and see how it did. The movie of course waz an epic-sized hit and broke all kinds of records. When it came time 2 finish up Superman II, they fired Richard Donner and broght in another director 2 finish the sequel that waz already 85% finished. Needless 2 say, he changed alot of the movie and discarded alot of the footage, changed the story, and totally took it away from it's original vision. While the 2nd movie waz great and did what the 1st one did, the sequels after branched off in2 an area many aren't fans of (Superman III and IV). Anyways, that waz 1978 and it's now 2006. The Christopher Reeve era stopped in the late 80's and now the franchise has been revived. Well, in the mean time, fans of the movies have petitioned online for YEARS 2 see Richard Donner's version of the movie. Of course with the time that has passed, the movies that have come and gone, and the politics of the movie business, it's rediculous 2 think that it would ever happen. Well, with the release of Superman Returns, it did. The studio co-operated with Richard Donner and Michael Thau and broght the movie originally released in 1980 back 2 live in a vision that started even b4 then. A team went in 2 bunch of vaults in Europe and unearthed the original negatives and music from Superman II. They had 2 restore the video and audio and lable everything and reconstructed the movie. Lots of "new" scenes with Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, and Gene Hackman are included with plot twists and scenes that make total sense as 2 why Superman III and Superman IV actually have the right 2 be different from the 1st 2. Marlon Brando's footage that had 2 be discarded due 2 money issues are now in place and chemistry in this movie is explosive. The beginning set me off a little bit since the 1st few minutes are a bunch of Superman I footage spliced 2gether, but soon after that, the movie takes off in a totally new direction. One of the scenes wazn't even shot, but they had a screen test they used in it's place (it's funny 2 see the inconsistencies). In the end, the story makes so much more sense and has more meat 2 it, reguardless of the fact that they didn't have abotu 15% of the movie that they intended 2 back then 2 complete it. Even if i wazn't a huge Superman fan, i think it's incredibly interesting that they can revisit a movie that waz corrupted and nearly 30 years later, re-work it like this without using 2006/2007 techology 2 bastardize it.
  11. GINUWINE - I Apologize (Remix) I Apologize (2007)
  12. MARVIN GAYE - Distant Lover Let's Get It On (198? - i have the remastered version with 2002 on it...ha ha)
  13. GINUWINE - Since I Found U I Apologize (2007) He's back...and nobody knows.
  14. Back when Britney came out, i didn't like her just cuz the pop music scene waz so annoying 2 me. But my girlfriend at the time liked her, so i took her 2 see her perform live (and she does sing live) and i kinda liked her after that. I would also say i became a bigger fan with her last 2 albums. But every since the K-Fed crap, i haven't been in2 her much. She released that one single that waz good...but that's about it. She's been falling apart 4 awhile. I hope she gets herself straightened out and puts out a quality album in a bit.
  15. I came across an interesting article this morning. I also had some Britney Spears articles i stock piled that i waz gonna post from about a month ago, but didn't since not many people here care about her. But since a few people may have interest in the new article (the one i put at the end), i'm posting them all 2gether. The 3rd one sounds interesting. ------------------ Britney Can't Stand Justin's Voice Posted Feb 7th 2007 10:14AM by TMZ Staff "What Goes Around" came right back around for Britney Spears last night. TMZ spies caught Justin's ex enjoying a night of drinking and partying with former *NSYNCer JC Chasez -- yeah, Timberlake's old pal -- at club Marquee in NYC, where Spears had a very public jealous moment. With black thong underwear sticking out of her jeans, Spears decided to check out the DJ booth. Just as she got over to the wheels of steel, the DJ pressed play on a Justin Timberlake track. By the look on her face, Britney was none too pleased. According to our spy, Britney exchanged a few words with the DJ, and the Timberlake track was promptly replaced with something more to her liking. Spears doesn't need to worry about the same thing happening with any of K-Fed's music. ----------------------- Brit Feeds Justin Rumors, Cam Pissed? Posted Jan 29th 2007 11:45AM by TMZ Staff The only thing happy these days about Britney Spears are the Happy Meals she's picking up from Mickey D's. Sources tell TMZ that Britney has been trying to phone former flame Justin Timberlake, but he's not taking her calls -- and, as TMZ recently reported, JT isn't keen on any love rematch. We're also told that when JT's ex, Cameron Diaz, got wind of the calls, she didn't like it one bit -- and has tried to get through to Britney's people to ask her to stop calling her old boy. Over the weekend, the long lens of the paparazzi caught Britney engaged in two of her favorite pastimes -- carrying several small objects in her hands without the aid of a bag, and eating McDonald's food. The mother of two was spotted going into a Hollywood recording studio with cigs, Red Bull, CD, etc., and then she pulled up to the Golden Arches after the session for a healthy repast. No word if K-Fed was manning the drive-thru. --------------------------- Timbaland, Timberlake Want to Save Britney NEW YORK (March 7) - Timbaland, who's crafted hits for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado , wants to help Britney Spears reclaim her once-stellar career. "I feel her pain, it really bothers me," the 34-year-old rapper-producer says in an interview in Entertainment Weekly magazine's March 16 issue. "I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work (it) out." Timbaland says he invited Timberlake, his "best friend" and Spears' ex-boyfriend, to be part of that plan. "I asked Justin, `How would you feel about me working with Britney?' I had to ask him that," Timbaland is quoted as saying. "I said, `Would you do it with me?"' The 26-year-old "SexyBack" singer said he would, according to Timbaland, who notes: "She's just gotta be serious." Timberlake's spokeswoman, Sonia Muckle, referred inquiries to Timbaland's spokeswoman, Monique Idlett, who didn't immediately respond to a phone call Wednesday from The Associated Press. Gina Orr, a publicist at Jive Records, Spears' label, didn't immediately respond to an e-mail message. Last month, Spears, 25, checked into Promises Malibu drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in California, capping a week of bizarre behavior in which she entered and exited rehab twice, shaved her head bald and went out clubbing with friends. "I just want to hold her hand," Timbaland says. "I want her to be in my camp, to be around Justin. I need Justin to talk to her. Help her, please!"
  16. I don't expect an album 2 drop. But u gotta remember. He said he waz retiring in '95. Then in summer '97, with no heads up, "Men In Black" started getting spins on the radio (exactly 10 years ago). By the time Men In Black waz hitting theaters in July, he said he had a record deal and waz dropping a new album. Then in November, the album waz here. This isn't the 1st time he dropped an album in a short amount of time. It would be crazy if he dropped a release 4 this summer....ha ha.
  17. GYM CLASS HEROS + SPEECH - Biters Block As Cruel As School Children (2007)
  18. Trust me...it waz no joke. I think that if there's any way 2 get more news on this...we'd have 2 dig thru' some Master P related websites or something.
  19. Props 2 Jonny!! And u know that probably lead 2 a few of those 44,000 people actually buying the album.
  20. I don't know....it's eazy 2 get injured in Hip-Hop. Think about all the egotistical fools with access 2 guns, drugs and alcohol. Look at the fights, murders, and lawsuits that come 2 so many of todays emcees and rappers (good and bad). Luckily his royal Freshness is one of the smartest in a the game and doesn't let that kinda crap creep in2 his life if he can help it. For 20 million dollars and doing what i love, i'd gladly take a cut or a bruise here and there. Sacrafice 4 your art has always been my thing when it comes 2 my local acting.
