50 CENT BRINGS RAP 2 A NEW LOW
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
I never start the topics on 50 Cent...i just reply 2 them...but with this one, i waz amazed at the new low he has reached so i wanted 2 share the article. I love Hip-Hop. And everything that he and his click record and do truely is awful. As a Hip-Hop head, i'm frustrated that this idiot can do what he does and ruin what mainstream music fans think of Hip-Hop and Rap. I want the faces of Rap and Hip-Hop 2 represent me...and G-Unit, Nelly, Eminem, Lil' Kim, Lil' Jon, Trina, Young Joc, and Ja-Rule simply don't do that. They don't even represent themselves. Their liars and sell-outs. That's where i'm comin' from and that why i can't stand that so many people few 50 Cent as "on top." I don't wanna make this turn in2 another post about about the state of Hip-Hop, cuz we've run those in2 the ground...but that's why i posted it. -
I'll have 2 update my list of stuff and post it. I know there's still a few things i'm missing. Alot of the truely unreleased stuff we don't have much info on. Here's a few from each era that come 2 mind.... BWS - Keep It Real (JJ+FP), I Just Wanna Blend (produced by Warren G), Sign Your Name (a love song 2 Jada)...there's also another Warren G produced track that waz done for BWS. There's the unreleased So So Def Remix of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" which is one of the best Hip-Hop remixes ever. WILLENNIUM - a Wyclef produced track and 2 collabos with Michael Jackson B2R - He recorded over twice the amount of material that made the album L+F - He waz activly working on the album since 2003. He had at least 40-some trax done 4 it.

Man, it's amazing 2 me how ignorant people and people with no taste in music can support a person like this. It took an incredible amount of stupidity...but 50 Cent has help Rap reach a new low. Check this article i got from AOL. The pic isn't even that funny...i'm sure someone can find it and post it. What makes this even better, is that Game's comment doesn't show anymore intellegence on his part. Idiots. --- 50 Cent Puts Nemesis The Game in a Thong Posted Jul 10th 2006 11:44AM by Jessica Robertson Filed under: Hip-Hop 50 Cent's feud with former G-Unit rapper The Game has gotten ugly . . . literally. On the cover of his latest mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid, titled 'G-Unit Radio Part 21: Hate It or Love It,' 50 pictured his Compton enemy wearing nothing but a thong As is if that weren't tantalizing enough, the effort -- which features rhymes by the usual suspects Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep and Young Buck -- includes Game's appearance on the dating show 'Change of Heart.' The Game responded to 50's antics during an L.A. performance at DJ Skee's Envy Expo on Saturday, telling the crowd, "G-Unit got a new mixtape out, got me dressed up like a stripper, it looked kinda cute. But, the motherf***in' Game don't do no stripping." Sure is hard out there for a G.

Wendy Williams is trash. She's a total waste of a life. She's like the Paris Hilton of black people...except she's more evil.

JJFP/Big Will mentioned in Source's 200th issue
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I waz about 2 say the same thing. It's amazing how 1988 is nothing but classic artists...all with talent. And by the time 2 get 2 2005, there's literally nobody that personally think is ever consistently average...if any good at all. By the time the 90's are over...that lists go 2 hell and back. I love seeing JJ+FP getting the love tho.' -
yeah, u can use what you want for an avatar, as long as it's not racist/porn I guess. There goes Jonny taking all the fun outta everything. :damnyou:

Yeah, Jazzy's stuff is definitly worth checking out. However, his stuff isn't as slick and glossed up as most of FP's stuff. He's not aiming 4 the same mainstream audience that FP does. But checkin' his stuff, u'll get a good dose of alot of music. His solo album has a blend of undergound Hip-Hop and neo-soul...with a touch of Jazz and a touch of house. The Hip-Hop mixtape is mostly 90's Hip-Hop and Rap. The Soul Mixtape has mostly neo-soul...and In The House is mostly House/Club/Dance music. Most of the music isn't mainstream stuff but there is a bit here and there.

Mr. T Sheds His Gold Chains AP PASADENA, Calif. (July 14) - Mr. T has given himself a makeover. The former television action star shed the piles of gold chains that were his signature look after witnessing the destruction from Hurricane Katrina. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Talk About It: Post Thoughts Did You Know? Mr. T (real name: Lawrence Tero) will give out life advice on TV Land's "I Pity the Fool" starting this October. "As a spiritual man, I felt it would be a sin against my God for me to wear all that gold again because I spent a lot of time with the less fortunate," the actor said Thursday at the Television Critics Association's summer meeting. "I saw some, I call it 'sorry celebrities.' They'll go down there and hook up with the people to take a photo-op. I said, `How disgusting.' If you're not going to go down there with a check and a hammer and a nail to help the people, don't go down there." Mr. T, whose real name is Lawrence Tero, stars in "I Pity the Fool" debuting in October on TV Land. He dispenses advice to viewers who are struggling with life's problems. The former star of "The A-Team" said he's about more than his rough-and-tough image. "Yes, I am qualified to beat people up. But I am pretty intelligent," he said. "That's what throws people off. If you've been through something, that gives you an authority that you can speak on certain things. That's why people relate to me. I pull no punches."

The Best of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
No, it's definitly weird. Just cuz those albums are hard 2 find at the moment, doesn't give them an excuse 2 overlook them. By not mentioning them in a greatest hits compilation, it's like wiping them out of the JJ+FP history. Which just isnt' cool. -
The thing is, Ice Cube doesn't look that different than he did when he burst on2 the scene. Just swap that shirt 4 a black one and throw on a Raiders hat. He waz rockin' that jerry curl 4 awhile.

I love how FP made fun of his own pic in Bad Boys 2...and butchered it up even more just 4 it...ha ha. They need 2 make a Hip-Hop High School Year Book so we can see how many of these egotistical floss-ready, so-called-ballin'-outta-control rappers actually had it like that back in the day. FP, LL, Whodini, Kid N' Play all had the kinda looks that ladies responded 2. But u know many of these rappers are talking big without a reason...so a book like that would be hilarious...especially with Lil' Jon's year book pic in mind.

Snoop and Game co-signing Tyrese's rap attempt
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Tyrese is one of those artists that truely came out of the gutter. And even tho' his break came from singing on that Coke commerical, he spit a rap on his very 1st single. I can't say i'm looking forward 2 the Rap side of the disc that much but he can hold his own. What i'm really dying 4 his the R-N-B disc. Since he's consistently stepped it up with each album and broke in2 a big movie career....i'm just happy 2 hear a new album is coming out. -
When will y'all learn...anyone who claims 2 be hardcore or "keepin' it gangsta"...simply isn't. At least back in the day, NWA waz pioneering the hardcore Hip-Hop. U can't even take 2day's rappers seriously.

The state of the world is one big depressing joke. I don't understand why all these top political idiots can't just back off. I don't wanna come off weird by saying this...but these are the last days tho'...all this is part of the plan i guess.

RICH CRONIN - Cab Driver (unreleased) (2005)

I know there are some Linkin Park fans on this board. In the past i've blown them off since they don't make the kinda music i like. Outside of 2 or 3 singles, i just don't feel them. When they boasted about Mike Shinoda as an emcee, i just couldn't take them seriously...but i should have. A lil' over a month ago, i fell in love with the song "Where'd You Go" when it started picking up steam on Top 40 radio. I remember asking a few friends like "Who is that...it sounds like a white guy...maybe the guy from LP." Nobody knew so i had 2 find out 4 myself...and i did. I just think that song is flawless. 2 me that song itself is worth the price of the CD, and since they don't release singles in the US, i picked up the CD...and i'm falling in love with it. The beats are like good upper/underground Hip-Hop with some edge 2 it. And i definitly feel Mike's flow. I haven't gotten in 2 the lyrics much yet, but some of them have stood out 2 me. On top of that, he's got Hip-Hop heavy weights like Common Sense and Black Thought on it. He's not on the level of FP, LL, Common, but he's definitly got skillz and i'm liking this album alot. I'm anticipating quite a few "I told u so" relpies.....bring 'em on...ha ha.
