  1. Years ago, it would be hard 2 see this site getting as big as it is. It's nothing less than amazing.
  2. SKEE-LO - This Is How It Sounds I Wish (1995)
  3. FORT MINOR - Feel Like Home The Rising Tied (2006)
  4. I waz happy 2 see them actually work 2gether again on LL's album. But 2 see that they have addressed them getting over the beef is cool 2 me. All thes losers talk trash on a record, and it just fake beef. Jamie and LL had a REAL beef and they've not only gotten over it, but they are working 2gether. That just shows what being a man really is. All these cowards like G-Unit need 2 take notes.
  5. Yeah, The DEFinition is one of many albums that i put away for awhile...but when i put it in again, i'm like "man, this is good." "1 In Da Morning" has been said by many critics 2 remind them alot of early LL stuff made new. I agree. I can't help but love the energy and wit of that track.
  6. While we are on the topic of lawsuits. I'm going to sue Tim. Since he created this website and message board, i've spent so much time online that it keeps me from working and making money...and my internet bill is crazy. So yeah, i'm sueing Tim for ruining my life. p.s. Tim, i'll see u in court!!
  7. I wouldn't call it a classic at all. It's a good album, but not a classic. While Cool J always come correct on the flow and deliverly...and of course lyrics, but half of the trax have watered down, b-level production.
  8. In the end, fools like this only waste lots of their own money and time (along with other people's) with these rediculous lawsuits. On top of that, if they get recognized, it's for being an idiot. I don't see how stupid someone can be 2 think anything good can come out of a lawsuit like this.
  9. AOL has an article on male actors which has a poll attatched 2 it. It talks about what actor can bring in the fans, the ticket sales, DVD sales, and so on. The article doesn't really talk about FP so i didn't have anything 2 copy from it. But those of u who have AOL need 2 find the article (in the entertainment section) and vote for our boy. He's in 3rd place, but he's WAAAAY behind the top 2. It's a silly poll, but go support. Here's the current results... Which actor can make or break a movie for you? Tom Hanks 37% Johnny Depp 29% Will Smith 7% Adam Sandler 7% Tom Cruise 7% Brad Pitt 6% Ben Stiller 4% Tyler Perry 3% Total Votes: 44,858
  10. TISHA (CAMPBELL) - Love Me Down Tisha (1992)
  11. And the crazy thing is, people file lawsuits like this everyday. There should be a step somewhere during the process of people filing a lawsuit that allows and expert to say "I'm sorry, we can't allow u 2 file this lawsuit becuz A; u are and idiot...and B; u won't win this. It would save so much money and time 4 so many people.
  12. "The Groove" remix is very rare. Until now, it's only been available on the 1990 promo single. It features the late jazz legend Grover Washington Jr. Last nite, i went 2 the Best Buy that i got my JJ+FP "Very Best of..." CD (that only had 2 copies...which i bought 4 me and Tim). They were now fully stocked with 6 copies!!
  13. DESTINY'S CHILD - I Know The Fighting Temptations (2003)
  14. I see alot of dope songs on this page of this post. Fuq, is Chamillionaire's album any good. I waz wondering. He's not my typical flava, but i've been wondering how his album waz. BLACKSTAR - Supreme Talib Kweli - Right About Now: The Official Suckafree Mix CD (2005)
  15. That's cool! I've done "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" at some parties and theaters. People always sing along and have fun with that song.
  16. After this heartbreaking newz about the death of Hip-Hop...(okay, maybe i'm being a bit over dramatic), i picked up the current issue of Ebony with LL on the front in hopes of having my worries erased. The article waz done b4 this news tho.' In the article, when it comes 2 music, Cool J says that Hip-Hop is different these days, but not any better or worse than back in the day. I agree with that statement overall, but he's speaking commerically, i can't agree. He talks about making music 4 the love of it and hearing his records on the radio...and NOT 4 the fame and fortune. He also talked about Todd Smith. Saying that how he looks at the album as a very positive and personal kinda record (i agree) and how his collabos represent his ability 2 work with people from all over the industry. He says that he sees fans listening 2 the album a year or 2 from now and still picking new things up from the album and liking it even more down the road. Back on topic tho'...i still can't understand why he would work with 50 Cent. It's honestly a nightmare 2 me. I'm guessing he's not happy with what Jay-Z has done with Def Jam and wants 2 take his career 2 a label that makes him feel at home. That would explain why he's working with someone who has a proven ability 2 not be anywhere near his own level, and is releasing a "Part 2" album...and not a real album. Who knows tho'...50's input could be very limited and this album could turn out dope. We'll find out kinda soon. Since the newz has had a few days 2 sink in, i must say that i'm extreem disappointment is matched by my extreem excitement 4 a new album.
  17. It's all very "Jay-Z" 2 me. Since The Carter Administration is running things at Def Jam, with some success stories (Rihanna, Ne-Yo, LL) and some others (nearly everyone else), it just seems forced and out of LL's character. Think about it, dropping an album right after the last (aka, rushed, not thought out, etc), collabing for the whole album with someone who seems more like a money making plan rather than an artistic move. Just not what the real LL fans want.
  18. The world is crazy...that's all i have 2 say.
  19. Bonnie + Clyde '97 is a dope song...but it's not supposed 2 be taken seriously. Let's have a lil' common sense here. It's touching like "Just The Two of Us." ...i can't believe i just had 2 spell that out
  20. I'm gonna do everything i can 2 stay open minded. After all, some Executive Producers do nothing and have nothing 2 do with the album. Puffy is credited with being an Executive Producer of his 1997 album and all he did waz produce like 2 trax 4 it. The TrackMasters were mad cuz they were in the studio every day while that album waz being made...even if they weren't the producers of the trax being made that day. Even tho' LL is making this stupid decision, it doesn't mean 50 and the crappy team of people behind him will be all over the album. I'm hoping LL would stay true 2 himself. Alot of artists maintain their style even when they make moves like this. Out of the 10 singles or so that 50 released...about 2 of them had an okay beat...hopefully it's the producers of those songs that get beats 2 LL. Again, it just sounds like this is a re-packaged album that's coming out about 5 months after the original...meaning it's just a flash in the pan compared 2 his others. It would be nice if this rediculous idea brought some young, brainwashed, commerical rap fans 2 some hear a real lyricist and start 2 change the commercial face of Hip-Hop and Rap.
  21. This is rediculous. I have no problem with LL having no shame in making a hot radio-ready track. By doing a track or an album with 50 Cent is just stupid. Who wants 2 hear the G.O.A.T. with the W.O.A.T. (Wackest Of All Time)?!? In a very recent interview, LL said that he knows his record sales suffer cuz he won't cuss in his music and won't spread poison and talk all negative in his music. By working with a person who builds his whole career off the opposite is just crazy. I don't view it as another album...i just view it as a watered down remix album 2 his current one. I guess we'll see how it all turns out.
  22. I know who Robbie Williams is. He had a few hit singles a few years ago here in the US. I didn't like his music...and comparing him 2 FP is just silly. Especially putting FP under him. All i know is that when i saw JJ+FP perform, it waz one of the best times of my life.
  23. PETE ROCK + CL SMOOTH - Straighten It Out (Live On In Living Color) (1992)
  24. It's about time!! I can't wait 2 get this.
