Hitmaker Dallas Austin Sentenced Four Years
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Dallas Austin is incredibly talented and i love his stuff. But i've he's had "issues." I guess we all know now. This is probably why Chilli left his butt. He's work with JJ+FP, TLC, Boyz II Men, Monica, Pink, Madonna, etc is amoungst the best of the stuff coming out at it's respective time. -

Bizarre Brown antics spoil New Edition Reunion
JumpinJack AJ replied to Angel Amor's topic in Caught in the Middle
No way is that Bad Boy album close 2 the level of their other stuff. Puffy ripped them in the process of making the album by forcing them 2 do so many trax with Bad Boy in-house producers...which aren't very good in the 1st place. NE themselves aren't happy with the album, check the interviews. It's funny that Bobby sat out on that album since Bobby Brown and Bad Boy almost fit 2gether. -
FP...number 2 to Robbie Williams!?!....puh-leeze.

Bizarre Brown antics spoil New Edition Reunion
JumpinJack AJ replied to Angel Amor's topic in Caught in the Middle
Man, i love Bobby Brown...but he needs 2 grow up. Back in the day, he spiced things up and made a name 4 himself. He's 2 old 4 all that now. U can't do the same thing like that 4ever. After awhile, nobody is gonna take u seriously. I'm still dying 4 a NE reunion after Bad Boy ruined the last one. B. Brown on deck would be perfect. -
That's one thing i'll agree with u on...ICP is one of the worst (and most untalented) things 2 ever happen 2 not only music as a while...but the human race. This is another situation where it's clear that u don't need any talent 2 sell millions of records.

My point exactly.

Well, the recent "Very Best of..." is perfect. It has all (and only) the hits/singles. The 1998 Greatest Hits has most of the hits and some good bonus stuff. I think when it comes 2 the Greatest Hits albums, they've done perfect. Maybe i'll put 2gether a compilation of good album music later.

I read alot of this...i might go back and read in2 it more later. I have a problem with articles/interviews like this. There are always this articles and interviews being done where they talk about a negative, gangsta rap, or trash talking rappers and make them sound all deep, positive, smart, and so on. Sometimes it's coming right from the rapper's mouth. Then they drop their album that is supposed 2 be them turning over a new leaf, and it's the same negative, unoriginal crap that they did 100 times before. For instance...he's in that article talking about eating right...but in this album he'll talk about smoking weed and probably drinking. How are u gonna talk about taking care of your body, then talk about trashing it in your music. In an interview, some rappers come off more smart and humble, and maybe cuss 15 times or less. Then u get their album and they cuss 35 times in each song, totally forget all the knowlege they spoke in their interview, and talk about sex, drugs, and money in their music. I'm sorry, but these commerical rappers are phoney idiots.

Ha ha!! That's dope!! I waz listening 2 Run's album 2day. He's alot like FP in the sense that he is a big team player and supports alot of 2day's dilluted, crappy commerical artists of recent years, but it's good 2 see he's only supporting real legends with this list. Thanx 4 posting!!

Whoa, i can't agree with the statement that sales equal talent and good music. Nelly, Ja-Rule, 50 Cent + G-Unit, Lil' Jon, J-Kwon, Ying Yang Twinz, and alot of other artists have sold millions and they have no talent and their music is awful. It's been this way 4 awhile.

I don't watch movies like that. I've just never had an interest in scarty/horror/thriller type movies. I have alot of friends who have seen it tho.' I've had 2 of them say they didn't like it. But most of them said they did like it but that the end waz really stupid. Maybe i'll give it a watch sometime.

I haven't been in 2 Eminem for about 5 years. The lyrics got meaningless and gimmicky. The beats got wack. Any over all, he just annoys the crap outta me. I used 2 love him when he 1st came out tho.' I'd like 2 hear the new stuff 2 see if he's going in a better direction but i'm definitly not going out and buying this. D12 and G-Unit are just trash 2 me. Busta Rhymes is the only artist on there i like...unless Eminem has seriously cleaned up his act.

I'm real happy 4 her. I can only imagin how hard that had 2 be. I can't wait 2 hear her new album. I hope being out of the limelight and going thru' everything she's gone thru' in the past few years is gonna take her music in a stronger direction.

Let me start off by letting u guys know where i come from as a Superman fan. I grew up on him. From as far back as i remember, i watched him on TV, bought the comic books, dressed up as him for Halloween (over and over again). Superman is just amazing 2 me. Honestly, i think the fact that grew up on Superman kept me making the right choices as i waz growing up. Alot of people grew up loving the Star Wars movie...i grew up on the Superman movies. I'd watch them non-stop. When they finally released them on DVD, i waz all over them. I own probably 400 some Superman comic books, i still have countless action figures (new and old), shirts, lunch boxes, the movies, the DVD sets of the 50's Superman show, the Superboy show, the live action Superboy show, Super Friends and Justice League sets, Lois + Clark, and the new documentary just released last week. That being said...let me crack in2 this movie... 1st off, this movie is said 2 not be a sequel....but it could be. The movie opens up with the voice of Jor-El (Marlon Brando from the 1978 original movie), telling the history of Krypton. The classic music starts, and the credits roll in a fashion nearly identical 2 the originals. Anyone who grew up on the original movies will feel right at home from the start. Superman has left planet Earth for 5 years 2 invistigate news that his home planet had been found. Lois Lane is engaged and has a son. She's given up on Superman and is receiving an award for her article stating why the world doesn't need Superman. Lex Luthor has broken out of jail and wants 2 create his own island, ultimatly destroying the rest of the planet, killing billions. He breaks in2 the Fortress of Solitude (Superman's getaway) and takes the Kryptonian crystals that built it 2 fulfill his plan. 2 make a long story short, Superman returns after finding out that Krypton is gone and that his is alone. He then returns 2 Metropolis and makes a big entrance when he's 1st appears. Clark deals with how Lois' life has changed. Lex Luthor's plan kicks in2 effect, in which his island is built partly with Kryptonite. All in all, the 2 and a half hour movie takes u all over the place. The story is epic. Nearly every single set is very true 2 the original. Smallville looks exactly as it did in the original movie. Lex Luthor's hideout is stylized in a similar way, the Daily Planet has been updated, but that is expected since they were using cord phones and typewriters in the original. Now, on2 the characters. Superman/Clark Kent, is perfect. I originally hated the idea of this Superman...he just seemed 2 pretty boyish 2 me. But that's not the case. He is a spitting image of Christoper Reeve. His voice and mannorizms are incredibly similar. Lex Luther is both hilarious and evil...just like he should be. Jimmy Olsen is hilarious. I had no idea i'd be so in love with this new guy's performance. The only character i couldn't really get with is Lois Lane. I just felt like i hardly knew her during the movie. All in all, the movie is amazing. The sets, music, characters, concepts, and lines are true 2 the original. U'll love the movie if u've never seen a Superman movie...but it's especially good if u have grown up on the originals. Do yourself a favor and see this movie. Oh yeah, and in the trailors, u'll see a teaser for Spider-Man 3. It looks really good, but after watching Superman Returns, u'll forget all about Spider-Man 3.

HA!!!!!!!!! That's hilarious. As long as there is pain involved and no one is seriously injured...stuff like this makes me laugh to no end. I love the flying hat.

Yeah, if the shirts do well, u should consider making matching white fitted hats with the JJ+FP logo on them...the logo in orange and white. Then bracelettes...a matching blue one that says DJ JAZZY JEFF...and an orange one saying FRESH PRINCE. Ha ha...that would be pimp.
