  1. I waz listening 2 the album all weekend...i don't take it as a diss at all.
  2. I never saw Roll Bounce (but i own it). The feel good soundtrack and trailor, along with Nick Cannon is why i picked it up. I'll have 2 watch it and compare their performances. Nick Cannon's character actually looked pretty funny.
  3. MC Shan is the man, i'd like 2 see where he's going with this.
  4. G-WIZ - Here He Comes Blankman Soundtrack (1993)
  5. MADONNA - American Life (Live) I'm Going To Tell You A Secret (2006)
  6. Ugh, that Young Joc song is awful. Whenever i hear it on the radio, i have 2 deside which is easier...changing the station...or driving my car in a building as fast as possible. Terrible song...terrible "artist."
  7. JJ+FP - Ring My Bell (Mr. Lee Remix) Single/The Very Best of... (1992)
  8. I've never considered buying the bootleg seasons. Why get a crappy copy when the real stuff is being released so quickly??
  9. In the summer, i tend 2 listen 2 alot of old music...especially 90's Hip-Hop + R-N-B. When it comes 2 newer music, here's a list of albums i expect 2 be playing all summer... NELLY FURTADO - Loose CORINNE BAILEY RAE - (self-titled) DONELL JONES - Journey of A Gemini BUSTA RHYMES - The Big Bang RIHANNA - A Girl Like Me ICE CUBE - Laugh Now, Cry Later JAGGED EDGE - (self-titled) p.s. I hate that Lil' Jon song more than anything....ha ha
  10. Bow Wow had as much potential as any other kiddie emcee back in the day. Why respect would have been hard 2 get, he at least had a chance. That chance is long gone. He's lost his own identity, he makes what's considered 2 the flaky radio fans and young commerical rap fans. His carrer is starting 2 suvive by stupid gimmicks...just like what Eminem did.
  11. What i'm saying is that we get Jeff involved so that it's him behind it. That way it's official. The group is cool and all, but nothing much happens there. People rely on the artist and group pages 4 the real stuff. I think their music page would do much more than the group.
  12. That's awful. I'll keep in mind everyone effected by the loss. RIP
  13. That's kinda weird...cuz Snoop and Coolio when 2 high school 2gether and were cool.
  14. JAGGED EDGE - Watch You (self-titled) (2006)
  15. We should suggest that Jazzy do a JJ+FP music page. A fan created a page for LFO, then contacted Rich and gave him the password so that it could remain official and not get deleted. From there, Rich added rare photos, put up their hit singles, and kept contact with their fans. I think that would be cool. Tim, u should ask Jeff if u can put 2gether a JJ+FP myspace page 4 them. U can put on their dopest photos from back in the day thru' now, put up their best trax, put up the latest news, and send out bulletins when new projects drop.
  16. I never saw the video on TV...only a blurry version on my computer.
  17. Ha ha...he doesn't say that line in "Chasing Forever."
  18. DONELL JONES - I'm Gonna Be Journey of A Gemini (2006) Thank God he's back. Real R-N-B, y'all!!
  19. NELLY FURTADO + TIMBALAND - Promiscuous Loose (2006) This is definitly one of the biggest songs of the summer. I just love it...and so does everyone else i know. I'm getting used 2 the album. Not bad...and Timbaland does some unique stuff on it.
  20. I finally found the album finally. It's at Best Buy for 9.99. The remastered sound is amazing. It's kinda weird that they edited "The Magnificent Jazzy Jeff" up so much. Under the clear trey, there is a rare picture taken from the Rock The House photo shoot. It's in black and white and the 2 of them are smiling and leaning behind Jazzy's turntables. On the backside of the CD insert, they have the undoctored pic that they used on the back of the "Nightmare On My Street" vinyl single cover. The credits 2 all the songs are on the 1st 2 pages with the Homebase JJ+FP logo under them. Page 2 and 3 has an alternate pic taken from the photo shoot featured on the back of The Gold Collection. There is a mini bio on the group (which i haven't read yet) and on the last page, there is a real small pic of JJ+FP from the He's The DJ dayz. It has an "also available" list which is kinda weird cuz it's missing Rock The House and And In This Corner... from it. Go get it!!
  21. I used 2 like Cam'ron alot back in the late 90's. Most of the other stuff i've heard since is good when it comes 2 the the commercial stuff. Other than that, i could care less about DipSet. When it comes 2 the commercial stuff, i guess Juelz Santana isn't so bad...but not really my stuff.
  22. I had 2 go with Pete Rock. From their work 2gether on Code Red, they just sounded perfect 2gether. It's important 2 go 4 a producer that would have chemistry with him. Just having a hot beat means nothing. That's why alot of music is missing something these days. DJ Premier - I'd love 2 hear a track from the 2 of them. Premier isn't exactly the 1st one i think of tho' when it comes 2 chemistry. Pete Rock - The best combination. They both have old school credibility, a positive vibe, and talent. Dr. Dre - Well, there is good Dre and bad Dre. I'd like 2 hear a song or 2 with the good Dre production. RZA - No desire 2 hear anything with RZA. Kanye West - If he gave him something simple and soulful...sure. He does some good stuff and some average stuff. The Neptunes - I'd definitly like 2 hear something with FP and The Neptunes. Timbaland - I've been dying 2 hear something with FP + Timbaland since the late 90's. They are both funny and postive guys. Timbaland brings alot of energy and creativity 2 what he creates. Scott Storch - Out of his list, he's the current "hot" producer. "Hot" doesn't always mean good...but most of his stuff is good. When it comes 2 full albums, i'd only seriously consider Pete Rock, then Timbaland, then DJ Premier. [edited to delete double post by Wes]
  23. Most of us found this out in June 2002. DMC, in return mentioned FP and Jada in one of the songs on his new album.
  24. FORT MINOR - Where'd You Go ? (2006) Man, i love this song!!
