  2. I waz just gonna post this. I waz flippin' thru' a magazine and it said 2 sit thru' the credits.
  3. One of my friends saw it 2day and said that he liked it...but liked the 2nd one better. One of my friends made a bulletin on myspace saying "X3...don't rush to the theater." I think i might just see one of them...and if i like it, buy the box set when it comes out.
  4. Wow, this is rediculous. My friend sent this 2 me from some Canada news site. ------------------ Iran eyes badges for Jews Law would require non-Muslim insignia Chris Wattie National Post Friday, May 19, 2006 Jews were made to wear stars to identify them in Nazi Germany. Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims. "This is reminiscent of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. "Iran is moving closer and closer to the ideology of the Nazis." Iranian expatriates living in Canada yesterday confirmed reports that the Iranian parliament, called the Islamic Majlis, passed a law this week setting a dress code for all Iranians, requiring them to wear almost identical "standard Islamic garments." The law, which must still be approved by Iran's "Supreme Guide" Ali Khamenehi before being put into effect, also establishes special insignia to be worn by non-Muslims. Iran's roughly 25,000 Jews would have to sew a yellow strip of cloth on the front of their clothes, while Christians would wear red badges and Zoroastrians would be forced to wear blue cloth. "There's no reason to believe they won't pass this," said Rabbi Hier. "It will certainly pass unless there's some sort of international outcry over this." Bernie Farber, the chief executive of the Canadian Jewish Congress, said he was "stunned" by the measure. "We thought this had gone the way of the dodo bird, but clearly in Iran everything old and bad is new again," he said. "It's state-sponsored religious discrimination." Ali Behroozian, an Iranian exile living in Toronto, said the law could come into force as early as next year. It would make religious minorities immediately identifiable and allow Muslims to avoid contact with non-Muslims. Mr. Behroozian said it will make life even more difficult for Iran's small pockets of Jewish, Christian and other religious minorities -- the country is overwhelmingly Shi'ite Muslim. "They have all been persecuted for a while, but these new dress rules are going to make things worse for them," he said. The new law was drafted two years ago, but was stuck in the Iranian parliament until recently when it was revived at the behest of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. A spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Ottawa refused to comment on the measures. "This is nothing to do with anything here," said a press secretary who identified himself as Mr. Gharmani. "We are not here to answer such questions." The Simon Wiesenthal Centre has written to Kofi Annan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, protesting the Iranian law and calling on the international community to bring pressure on Iran to drop the measure. "The world should not ignore this," said Rabbi Hier. "The world ignored Hitler for many years -- he was dismissed as a demagogue, they said he'd never come to power -- and we were all wrong." Mr. Farber said Canada and other nations should take action to isolate Mr. Ahmadinejad in light of the new law, which he called "chilling," and his previous string of anti-Semitic statements. "There are some very frightening parallels here," he said. "It's time to start considering how we're going to deal with this person." Mr. Ahmadinejad has repeatedly described the Holocaust as a myth and earlier this year announced Iran would host a conference to re-examine the history of the Nazis' "Final Solution." He has caused international outrage by publicly calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map." Iran does not yet have nuclear weapons, but Tehran believed by Western nations to be developing its own nuclear military capability, in defiance of international protocols and peace treaties. The United States, France and Israel accuse Iran of using a civilian nuclear program to secretly build a weapon. Iran denies this, saying its program is confined to generating electricity.
  5. I love comic books...but i followed DC Comics...not Marvel. I've always wanted 2 see the X-Men movies but never had enough motivation. Maybe i'll catch up real quick so i can catch this one in theaters. Halle Barry waz on TRL the other day and said that this would be the last X-Men movie. One of my friends who saw it 2nite said that the 2nd one is better than the new one...but that it's still good.
  6. Q-TIP + BUSTA RHYMES - For The Nasty (still not freakin' released!!) (2005)
  7. I would, but this list means nothing. It's not connected 2 a magazine, music video channel or a radio station. It just something that some random person created.
  8. DAWN ROBINSON - How Does It Feel (unrelased) (2005)
  9. Yeah, i've been listening 2 the song alot the last 2 days. I can see this one going places fast.
  10. DJ JAZZY JEFF + J-LIVE - Break It Down (Original Version) The Magnificent (Promo) (2002)
  11. ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT - Esmerelda Amoung The Trees (2005)
  12. CYPRESS HILL - Whatta You Know Unreleased + Revamped (1996)
  13. I'll be getting it simply cuz it's a JJ+FP product. On top of that, it's officially their 20th anniversary. U better believe i'm gonna get something 2 rempresent that. Just having a new compilation with a new CD cover keeps me interested...not 2 mention the remastered stuff. I think the original Greatest Hits is better...but this one hits every one of their main hits, which the original didn't. Just the hits, even the lesser hits.
  14. That 1st tracklisting looked kinda wack...just not your typical Busta Rhymes album. The 2nd one looks much better and much more like a Busta Rhymes album. The 1st one waz stricly an Aftermath album, which would have probably been not that great. The 2nd one has more of Busta's peers on it like Erick Sermon. I kinda think that album cover looks like a low-budget Greatest Hits album cover tho.'
  15. That's just how i thought it would be...all the main hits. I'm hoping they have the remixes of "Ring My Bell" and "The Things U Do" since that's what they used 4 the videos.
  16. CYPRESS HILL - From The Window of My Room IV (1998)
  17. I've always loved The Roots...but "What They Do" waz the song that made me a big fan of them. I got the CD single and i have the video on tape somewhere. Just hilarious. I wish every Roots song waz on this level.
  18. The album comes out in a week (i think)...BUY IT!!
  19. On the US version of the "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" CD single, there is a DJ Scratch Remix of "Men In Black." It has some of the same sound efx on the track, but it's much rougher. The album version is smooth...but this remix has more energy (tho' the same vocals are used). There are 2 CD singles (both of them are a lil' rarer than your typical CD single). One of them has a dope remix that is, like the MIB remix, alot more rougher. It's probably one of the top remixes of FP's "solo" career. Then there is one that has a slightly retro feel which is like the other remix, but stripped down and a bit smoother. There is actually a part or 2 where the beat doesn't fit with the vocals perfectly...but it's still dope.
  20. I always check album credits...so this is old newz 2 me.
