  1. Here's a ?uestion 4 those who really hate re-releases. Would u be the 1st in line 2 pick up a newly released version of Lost + Found if it happened? I would hope so.
  2. I think it's cool that he shouted out all the people here who joined.
  3. BLACK EYED PEAS - Disco Club (Large Pro Peas Remix) Renegotiations (2006) I'm so in love with this remix album!!
  4. That album may not be doing everything we wished...but it's done enough. It got JJ+FP back out there in ways millions could see them. It got FP back where he needed 2 be lyrically and when it came 2 his sound. It got him a hit single and a big award. On top of that, we saw him/them be a part of the 46664 movement and make very public speeches that not only had the traditional JJ+FP comedy...but also alot of serious issues about Hip-Hop and the world. Lost + Found is a great example of Hip-Hop grown up. And even if it would take awhile until FP did another album, we probably have at least L+F remix that will show up on Jazzy's album AND that compilation album that FP is putting 2gether. And during this time, Jazzy is getting out there a bit more with all the remixes he's been doing, his myspace page, and the direction that his next album is going. JJ+FP 4ever!!
  5. Congratz!! I haven't listened 2 that album in a few months. I just may have 2 pop it in 2nite.
  6. I've just gotta say ANY and EVERY time anybody refers 2 ANYONE as a gangsta rapper, i crack up. HELLO, gangsters don't rap. Anyone who seriously calls themself a "gangsta" is a fool. And anyone who believes anything those so-called gangsta rappers say, is an even bigger fool.
  7. JON B - Lately (Mastermind Main Mix) Import CD Single/Stronger Everyday (2004)
  8. That's cool...i'm all up for the neew version of his album. He's right, there hasn't been many "bedroom" albums made in awhile. And of course more music from LL Cool J is always a good thing. One thing that i think is hilarious tho' is that since LL and Jamie were fueding thru' interviews and songs years ago, they just started working 2gether once both of their careers got super hot again. They never say how they got over it all or that the fight even happened. And i think it's really good that he still plans on doing comedy. I've liked his music for 12 years now...and i support alot of his movies...but if he strayed away from comedy, the world just wouldn't feel right.
  9. U think?!? If anyone gets this track downloaded/recorded...please send it my way or post it. Then we can ask Brakes 2 make a "Talented Version" of the song that only features LL.
  10. Well, i love bonus trax and remixes...so i love re-releases. But since i usually get albums when they 1st drop, it is annoying and a waste of money. I also get Import versions of albums if i a REALLY like the artists 4 the bonus material. But if i really like them, i got the regular/US version when it 1st dropped. Every year i usually sell some of CDs 2 a used CD place or give some away 2 friends. That's how i usually unload the original versions that i no longer need.
  11. That's cool. I hope they are doing it 4 the love and not the money. U know how those reunions go sometimes.
  12. I gotta say that i'm happy it's coming out...but i think they are coming out 2 quick. I want 2 have something 2 look forward 2. A year from now they will all be out. I hate the cover tho.' If it isn't going 2 be a family picture...then i think it should just have FP on it. I actually think the last 2 covers were the best ones (the 2nd is my fav). I waz only disappointed that the 3rd season had a pic from 1990 when that season waz from from 92ish.
  13. LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND - Chief Rocka Live On In Living Color (1993) Man, i haven't heard this song in ages...one of the best singles of the mid-90's. Brakes! I'll be getting the 12" single of that song in the mail any day now. Where's u come across the song, cuz i've been dying 2 find a CD version.
  14. Man, my prayers go out 2 all those involved...but i can't help but get angry when i read stuff like this. These grown men are running like idiots who have no respect for themselves or others, no self control, or common sense. They go around with with guns shooting whatever and whoever they want. I don't have anything else 2 say...otherwise i'm gonna get real worked up...ha ha.
  15. I think he looks like a pretty boy is 2 young 4 the part. That's my main thing. I think Superman should have qualities that the oppisite sex would respond 2...but not be a pretty boy. I also think that Superman should be a lil' more thicker. Routh has muscles...but doesn't look like it would be 2 hard 2 break him in half...ha ha.
  16. There's no hate in my blood for Jay-Z...nor do i hate him with a passion. But i simply don't like his music or the way he's been put on a pedistool by these new school rap fans. It's just my opinion. There's much more things he could say in his music...things that actually mean something. The fact that i don't see him as a postive person or making positive music that has a relevance is my reasoning behind this. When i think of FP working alongside someone with his music career. I think of it making sense with Russell Simmons, Run, LL, KRS-One, etc. I don't see him working along Jay-Z.
  17. AALIYAH - The One I Gave My Heart To One In A Million (1996)
  18. Under the circumstances u originally posted...i can't totally relate. But after i got used 2 being single and when i got over my ex, i definitly started focusing on a certain girl who i had actually known for a couple of years, but never allowed myself 2 think of her that way since i waz very happy with my girlfriend at the time. The crazy thing is, she broke up with her boyfriend the same day me and my girlfriend broke up. It's been a year and a half, and for awhile, me and that one girl lost touch, but since then we've gotten back in touch and talk regularly. She's on my mind all day every day. Sometimes i feel like we are taking steps towards making things legit...sometimes i don't know. I play it very safe cuz i don't wanna mess things up. We'll see how things turn out...and i'll keep u posted.
  19. Jay-Z is a joke 2 me. And i'll never be okay that he's heading Def Jam. Ne-Yo and Rihanna are some of my favorite new artists, but they aren't exactly carrying on the Def Jam legacy. LL Cool J is the only person doing that. Tierra Marie seems like she could be a real talent...but her album (put 2gether by "The Carter Administration") just doesn't display it properly. I just can't be totally okay with the idea of FP, a Hip-Hop pioneer, taking orders from someone like Jay-Z. It's just not right.
  20. I didn't check that link out due 2 my crappy computer. But i think u are talking about the performance the Hip-Hop nation did 4 him as he waz going off the air. It waz INSANE...artist after artists and group after group came out doing freestyles. One of the best Hip-Hop moments EVER on TV.
  21. I don't think it would be a bad idea...but i do have a problem with the whole "Carter Administration" crap.
  22. THE ROOTS + JAGUAR - What You Want The Best Man Soundtrack (1999)
  23. There really are 2 worlds in one. There's the negative world and the postive world. Some people are negative people. They look at their personal life...and the world as a whole and they see how awful things are. They point the fingure at other people and hold them accountable 4 a situation much bigger than that person. Their closed minded thinking allows them 2 think they are the only person seeing things clearly...when in fact they don't see much of anything. They spend their time trying 2 anger and upset others...trying 2 knock them down 2 a level as low as their own. Lord knows they can't feel good about themselves so they want 2 share their misery. Usually these people won't listen 2 anyone else or allow themselves 2 expand their thoughts or views. Then there are positive people. These are the people that make the world work. They see the things wrong in their life and in this world. But they stay positive knowing it will pass...or at least get better. They come upon a hardship..and instead of living miserable and deafeated, they look forward 2 the good times on their way. They see things wrong with this world and wrong done 2 them. But rather than taking is personal all the time, they just keep pressing on and let it go. After wall, why let bitterness and living in the pass run your future?!? A negative person might say that this kind of person is disillusional 2 the real world, but that's cuz their negative thinking is so limited that it's the only way they allow themselves 2 see things. A positive thinker not only lives life 2 the fullest, but they wanna share their joy and advice with others and don't get offended when a negative person doesn't wanna hear it. Look at your life, look at yourself. R u limiting the joy u experience in life? R u getting some kind of satisfaction by angering and annoying others? Do u have some kind of false pride that allows u 2 share your limited, deafeated, and negative thinking with others, trying 2 bring others down 2 your level?? It's time 2 examin your life and change your ways b4 u are all alone cuz all of the people u know don't want 2 be burdened by your company.
