Ha ha...thanx. I love 2 be detail oriented. I like the idea of giving someone an idea of an album or movie with words. On top of that, many reviewers write just 2 rip music and movies apart. I don't often diss certain projects unless they are embarrasingly bad projects like G-Unit albums. I think reviewers should be fans of artists, emcees, singers, actors, directors if they are gonna do the interview. People who will actually read that interview and be interested in the project are usually gonna be people who actually care about it. Not people who just wanna rip it apart. -
Normally i listen 2 their/her music all day on this day. Since i worked about 12 hours, i've been listening 2 Supernova for the pasat few hours. On Friday, when i have a day off, i'm gonna pop in my TLC Nw + Forever DVD (which waz technically released). TLC strenghthened alot of people. Many people view as a Hip-Hop/R-N-B group that had amazing commerical success. Lyrically, there waz so much more going on in their songs. I hope they have some kinda legacy that kicks up in a big way.

I got a situation on my hands that could effect me 4 a long time that's very annoying and could my life kinda difficult 4 awhile. For those that don't know, i recently got promoted 2 being the store manager at me work. I'm at the top of the foodchain...until it comes the home office. Well, i love my job and my co-workers. I'm a very laidback and fun kinda boss and everyone loves working there. Very recently, i have been forced 2 hire on a new assistant manager. I wanted 2 hire within the store, but due 2 various polotics, that wazn't an option (until it waz 2 late). Anyways, i met with this one girl, talked 2 her, interviewed her, and due 2 her past work experience, she waz everything i waz looking for. On top of that i had a very good feeling about her in my heart. I waz very relieved and excited about how things were working out. Well, i hired her and literally just as i put her in the computer and giving her the position....THE MASK CAME OFF. She become strongly opinionated and blunt. I waz training her and telling her many rules and company policies in which she challenged and took as "suggestions." She later went on 2 say things that sounded like she waz telling me i didn't know how 2 do my job. THEN, 2 top it all off, she said a sarcastic but joking comment 2 one of my co-workers which caused her 2 flip out. Most of the people in the store have stopped in just 2 see her cuz they've heard how things have been. I e-mailed my district manager about the situation and he said that "i'm stuck with her." Needless 2 say, it looks like i'm stuck having this person that my team will not like or respect that i don't even wanna work with. In the past, there have been like 2 other people i wanted 2 get rid of, but couldn't just fire them 4 no reasons. When i realized that i should let God fight my battles and not take it upon myself, it always resolved itself in a timely manner. I'm really hoping that it will happen with this situation 2. So, i the meantime, i'm gonna be on my toes training this person and hoping it won't turn out that bad, while i don't think ANYONE i work with will wanna work with her. All in all, i'm just hoping i can get some prayer support on this situation that it gets solved without any negative vibes and hopefully in a timely fashion. Thanx in advance!

Instead of starting a new post...i just wanted 2 bump this one out. It's amazing how times flies. It just seems like yesterday when i saw them rock a crowd live. And just yesterday when i heard the news which devistated me. In the past year, all we can really say about TLC is that their show R U The Girl With T-Boz + Chilli provided the single "I Bet" which has generated no success. The girl they chose 2 do the song with had virtually had no real relevant skillz which waz disappointing...but i know i'm one of millions who were happy 2 get the new song...but only one of thousands who actually bought the single (or found it for that matter). The new version of Now + Forever (their Greatest Hits album) has yet 2 be released or promoted while the original version sat in a wherehouse for 2 years only 2 be released with NO promotion (in the US). Left Eye's family have since abandoned her website and haven't pushed 2 finally release and/or repackage her solo album for the US. Well, reguardless of what the future holds, both girls say they are slowly working on solo albums and other projects (T-Boz can be found singing on a YoungbloodZ track). Rest In Peace Left Eye

RUN-DMC:Greatest Hits 1983-1991 - RATING 10 What better way 2 have all their hits 2gether? I like this version better than the 2003 version. HOWEVER, 4 those of u who never picked up a Run-DMC "Greatest Hits" album, Circuit City has the 2003 version on sale for just $7.99 this week through Saturday. Micheal Jackson:Invincible RATING 8.5 Just a great R-N-B album. The lyrics are amazing and u can just tell he put years of work in2 the album. LL Cool J:10 RATING 8.5 I love this album. It's got stuff 4 the streets, stuff 4 the ladies, stuff for the radio, a dash of soul. Dope lyrics...and while some people may prefer a different sound. I think the production waz dope. DMC:Checks,Thugs And Rock N Roll RATING 7.5 - A legend takes a solo spin with a slightly new direction. There's only 1 or 2 songs i'm not feeling that much. Other than that, i love the album, the way he mixes genres and the different eras in Hip-Hop. Not 2 mention a new Run-DMC track!! LL Cool J:14 Shots To The Dome RATING 9 Classic pioneer old schooler taking on the changes in Hip-Hop. If u like Code Red, Black Reign, etc...u'll love this album. LL might have been exhausted when he put this album 2gether with a slightly weaker direction...but it's still dope. LL Cool J: Momma Said Knock You Out RATING 10 Early 90's Hip-Hop in it's rawest form. Something 4 the streets, the radio, and the ladies, as always from LL. -
I didn't check the video since my computer is slow. Is it the clip from 1998ish where he goes 2 get up on stage and slips...then plays it off in try FP fashion?

Ugh...the Bad Boys 2 soundtrack is trash. Most of those emcees sucked. That Mary J. Blige song waz good...but nothing compared 2 her album that came out just months later. Shoot, even that Justin Timberlake song waz better than most of the stuff on the soundtrack. M.O.P. didn't even come correct on the soundtrack. "Shake Ya Tailfeather" waz a fun commercial joint...and that Fat Joe song waz good...but the rest is trash. STRIAGHT TRASH. Puffy turned down new songs by FP!! The 1st Bad Boys soundtrack waz dope. So many of us expected a good soundtrack after the 1st...but no. It's one of the worst soundtracks ever...period.

Will Smith: I want to be soldier for peace
JumpinJack AJ replied to MissAshley's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Thanx!! It's so cool 2 be a support someone who is motivated by things like this...and is one of the best emcees ever. -
But the bottom line is that Master P and Lil' Romeo are wack. All of Bow Wow's stuff is better than anything they've ever done. Bow Wow's ego is rediculous...and most of his music isn't that much better than the other stuff on the radio...but in my opinon. Bow Wow still has a chance 2 grow up and be a decent artist...where as Master P is a grown man who's been around for over a decade doing crappy stuff. There's a handful of Bow Wow trax that i actually like...like "Let Me Hold You" and "My Baby."

Bow Wow Responds to Lil' Romeo and Master P
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Man, i can't even believe u brought up J-Kwon. That guy waz the biggest joke. The truest 1 hit wonder since the 2000's. He didn't even had like a small 2nd hit...and that "Tipsy" joint waz the most annoying trash out that year. -
NICH LACHEY - What's Left of Me What's Left of Me (2006) Still lovin' this song...the video preimers 2morrow.

Bow Wow Responds to Lil' Romeo and Master P
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Is this immature...YES. But it's still entertaining...ha ha. Cuz even tho' Bow Wow is walking around all cocky these days and saying ignorant things...he has called Master P and Lil' Romeo out and is statin' facts. Master P's career has quickly disappeard since his hay day in 1998/1999. Lil' Romeo's career only lasted from 2000-2002. -
If they were gonna just make it an 11 track CD, they should have jammed it tight with the singles. Yeah, it's called "The Very Best of..." but a Greatest Hits theme would make more sense. Only 5 of those 11 trax were succesful singles. The others are just album trax or underground circulated type hits. I would have did a lil' somethin' like this... 1. I Wanna Rock 2. I'm Looking For The One (To Be With Me) 3. Boom! Shake The Room 4. Summertime 5. Ring My Bell (Mr. Lee's Extended Remix) 6. The Things U Do 7. The Groove (Grover's Groove) 8. I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson 9. Brand New Funk 10. Parent's Just Don't Understand 11. Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble (1988 Remix) I know i chose a few smaller hits over some bigger hits. But 2 celebrate JJ+FP in 2006, i'd wanna focus more on the later stuff. Then load the package with some un-used Code Red promo pix. I'll still gladly pick up the album. Tim just recently picked up "Before The Willennium"...i'm sure he thought it waz worth the money...ha ha.

Somethings aren't even worth giving a chance...and anything with the G-Unit name on it is one of those things. When it comes 2 G-Unit, u can expect ignorance and stupidity wrapped up in one untalented package.
