  1. I don't think any of the remixes or the radio edit were the way 2 go. The album version is by far the best. They just needed 2 promote it better. Since "Switch" waz already a hit, they just needed 2 push "Party Starter" a lil' sooner and stronger.
  2. That new Shakira song is nothing but a song off Wyclef's 2004 album remixed with her singing the verses. LL COOL J - Todd Smith (Da album) (2006)
  3. Yeah, Nitty just puts out that feel-good, fun, positive stuff. Alot of people won't hear him out cuz of the bouncy poppy "Nasty Girl"...but i really like his album.
  4. Yeah, street cred amougst 12 year olds who think T.I. is hardcore gangsta. :wiggle:
  5. MTV knows nothing about Hip-Hop or Rap. VH-1 does a much better job with that kinda stuff. The list isn't as awful as it could be. I'd only keep 5 of those artists in it tho.' The other 5 don't even deserve 2 be in the top 50.
  6. Arrested Development (straight hip-hop mixed with some soul and R-N-B...introspective, very positive) Speech (front man from Arrested Development...similar 2 AD) Nitty (straight Hip-Hop with a positive commercial twist) Lifesavas (true school Hip-Hop) 4th Avenue Jones' (hip-hop mixed with rock and soul...some different stuff)
  7. I'm dying 4 some new Rakim. I'm not Nas' biggest fan, but after he did that song 4 Rakim on his last album, i guess i wouldn't mind hearing a track with them...like Rakim said...if it makes sense.
  8. I wazn't gonna get in2 this part of the topic...but...There is a difference in how FP has used it and how T.I. has used it. T.I. comes off as very uneducated 2 me.
  9. Tayana's album is amazing. I love it...and still listen 2 it ever few months. FP also dropped a verse on Shaggy's "Hey Sexy Lady" remix with Sean Paul. U can find it on the compilation CD "Sexy Lady Explosion." He also dropped a rhyme on Mary J. Blige's "Got To Be Real" on the SharkTale soundtrack. FP also did work on songs for past Michael Jackson and Dru Hill albums which never came out. About a year ago he did a remix with Elephant Man and Redman, but it looks like it won't get released.
  10. Well, with Overbrook being in limbo and without a distribution deal forever...AND the lack luster sales of Born To Reign. It waz very hard 2 get the group off the ground. I got some inside info awhile ago that they are done. I really wanted then 2 put out an album tho.' FP believed in them and their album had him featured on at least one song. Since i saw them live, i know what they are capable of and they were the truth. Who knows, maybe they'll give it another go. Otherwise, a few of us will just be wondering "what if..."
  11. Rest in peace. It's time 4 this emcees and rappers 2 freakin' grow up. There's alot of grown men going around acting like they have no self-respect and responsibilities. I'll never say D12 is talented...but hopefully this loss will open some eyes and change things 4 the better.
  12. Yeah, he said it like anyone else who only has a 5th grade education would. Ha ha...just ignore me.
  13. When u are in the game for 7 years or longer...the non-fans always say u fell off.
  14. I can't stand T.I. But since his movie ATL waz produced by FP, i skimmed it and found the magic words...."Will Smith." Here's the part of the interview that's actually interesting... "Still, as a first-time actor working with a first-time feature director (music video helmer Chris Robinson), T.I. often felt overwhelmed. Fortunately, Will Smith is one of the producers on the film and T.I. was able to consult personally with the world's foremost rapper-turned actor. 'I spoke to Will several times about problems i was having,' says T.I. 'He's a real n!gg@. He's from the hood and still has hood n!gg@s around him. People don't know that because of his image - which is probably best for his career - but anybody sitting and talking to him can see it.'"
  15. LISA STANSFEILD - Never Gonna Fall (Junior Vasquez Mix) The #1 Remixes (EP) (1998)
  16. BLACK EYED PEAS - Dum Diddly (Noizetrip Remix) Monkey Business (Asian Import) (2006)
  17. Asking us 2 upload album music....that's a stupid move.
  18. Brakes...u are 2 funny. I'm downloadin' it now. Thanx!! CYPRESS HILL - Rap Superstar Skull + Bones (2000)
  19. Yeah...i'm on the same page as u. I wait months...sometimes years 4 stuff like this 2 drop.
  20. BUSTA RHYMES, DMX, MARY J. BLIGE, MISSY, RAH DIGGA, PAPOOSE, LLOYD BANKS - Touch It (Remix) The Big Bang! (2006) Some one please take Lloyd Banks off this remix!! He's the weakest (and wackest) link.
  21. Scott Storch has definitly put 2gether some good beats...but he's very overrated by the commercial rap fanbase.
  22. BLU CANTRELL - I'll Find A Way (Soul Power Remix) Hit 'Em Up Style: Chart + Club Hits (2005)
  23. Wow, i can't imagin being 17 and in that position. Oh well, they need 2 handle their business. U can't just kill someone cuz u aren't responsible...time 2 step up and realize what's important.
