  1. He said he's "setting a new table"...so this isn't the last of him, or Deathrow. Suge has no musical talent and his business skills have disappeared over the years. He should just call it quits...but u know he won't. He may be growing up and using this time 2 get all the people who are on is back...off. Deathrow's last great accomplishment waz Snoop's 2nd album.
  2. I'm sorry 2 hear that. Things'll work out...u'll see. I'll definitly keep u guys in mind.
  3. CYPRESS HILL - Illusions III - Temples of Boom (1995)
  4. Man, i remember being like 10 and in the 5th grade wanting a Simpsons movie. Now i'm 25 and it's actually happening. I haven't gotten 2 watch The Simpsons in ages. I have the 1st 4 seasons on DVD. But i've never really like Family Guy. If it's late and i'm just chillin' and nothing better is on, i'll watch it. It's okay, but nothing more.
  5. I gotta say that Busta's recent decisions have really disappointed me. And his last 3 albums, while still good, don't hold my interest the way his 1st 3 did. I'll most likely still pick this up opening week. He definitly represents a side of Hip-Hop that needs 2 be put out there.
  6. That's dope!! I can only imagin how cool that would have been.
  7. Interesting. Bow Wow is a young cat with ego issues. That doesn't give him an excuse 2 act the way he is. He had 2 feel pressure from those ignorant comments 2 go thru' with this article and the event itself. I think it's pretty silly that Bow Wow can just summon FP like that. JD waz probably begging FP 2 talk 2 him...2 get him back on the right track. FP takes alot of responcibility 4 the state of Hip-Hop. Since Bow Wow is in a place where he can be the future commercial face of Hip-Hop and Rap, he probably thought by meeting Bow Wow, he'd be planting seeds in the hope that Bow Wow would fix his game up and be responsible 4 his future music.
  8. Ha ha...DMX has never really done a diss track aimed at 1 person by name. Even in this days of overhyped beefs that have no substance...i'd like 2 hear DMX call him out like that.
  9. I assume that Jazzy Jeff Tribute is the Spinbad and Sat-One tribute from 2002. I haven't listened 2 that in ages...i gotta pop it in now.
  10. This whole topic is rediculous. That beat or similar ones have been on countless other songs. Rihanna and her team weren't jackin' this beat. They were probably working on the song at the same time. Back in the eary 90's, people said House of Pain recorded their 1st single "Jump Around" after the success of Kris Kross' "Jump." Truth is, they were both in the studio at the same time and the songs had no relation. I don't understand why DMX is attacking someone like Rihanna over something that waz Gay-Z's decision. It's reminscent of Eminem taking on Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. It just didn't make sense. It waz beyond making fun of them, he waz approaching it as if it were a rap fued...it's just stupid.
  11. P!NK - I Got Money Now I'm Not Dead (2006)
  12. I don't download album music...so i've only heard 2 or 3 trax off the album. But i doubt LL is coming out with something that weak. Everybody on this board is knocking 10, but i thought that album waz dope. Artists go thru' different phases just like we do. I'm actually very much in a lovey dovey mood...ha ha. I got someone in my life that i really like and i'm really hoping things fall in2 place 4 me. So if he's releasing an R-N-B heavy album that real smooth, it'll be exactly what i need. U gotta realize that LL has done this things for years. So he's gotta put some kinda vibe or theme on every album that makes it different from the last. So the anti-R-N-B listeners won't feel it as much...but there just as many, or more people who will. Bring it on LL...i'm waiting for something new.
  13. When FP did Willennium. He actually took a break and chilled in Philly for much of the album's production. I think that Willennium waz his way of saying "Hey, i did big things with BWS...so i'm gonna take things home"...which is also why it's very much a JJ+FP album. It wazn't a JJ+FP album, but it waz a JJ+FP project. I view it as a JJ+FP album, but that wasn't FP's intention. I have a feeling a JJ+FP album would be different from Willennium. WILLENNIUM 5/5 BORN TO REIGN 3.5/5 LOST + FOUND 4/5 ERICK SERMON - MUSIC (i don't have his last 2 albums...but he always makes good albums) 2PAC - LOYAL 2 THE GAME 2.5/5 (Eminem ruined this album disappointing thousands of fans...the lyrics are dope, it's just the production that sucks for more than half of it...not counting the bonus trax/remixes)
  14. Eazy-E waz one of the 1st people in Hip-Hop 2 focus strongly on the business side of things. He may not have lyricaly been one of the best...but he is a pioneer in west coast Hip-Hop and hardcore Hip-Hop. I think he should have been honored after 2Pac...b4 Biggie. I could never get with Big Pun. I never saw him as very lyrical or even decent when it came 2 flow. No disrespect 2 him...but he waz just a commerical rapper 2 me.
  15. Man, Leaders of The New School waz one of the greatest early 90's groups. I loved them. I was always hoping they'd get back 2gether. When Busta kept going after that extra attention, the group started falling apart. I makes me really annoyed that they can't even be cool. I didn't pay 2 much attention 2 Dinco and Milo...but Charlie Brown is one of the greatest emcees. I know he waz working on solo stuff but i never saw it in stores. I'll have 2 check out Dinco's page on myspace.
  16. My favs are 2Pac's "Dear Mama"...LL Cool J's "Big Momma" and FP's "Momma Knows." Kanye's joint is average at best. That Eminem song isn't bad...but the subject matter is kinda wack...and depressing overall.
  17. I heard "Switch" on the radio while i waz in the shower last week. It waz the 1st time i heard it on the radio in ages. I literally went from being really tired 2 getting all hyped and wide awake.
  18. ((IGNORING YOUR POST))) Where on earth have u been?!? Good 2 see u back!!
  19. Wow! What a line up of honorees!! This is gonna be another really good show. And since they honor 1 of Hip-Hop's fallen soldiers, Eazy E is perfect. He made much for an an impact than Big L (he only had an underground following and only did his thing 4 a few years) and Big Pun (who only had a few hit singles at the time of his passing). Eazy E is one of the pioneers of hardcore Hip-Hop. Sure, it tailspun in2 the trash that makes the charts these days...but Eazy's intentions were never 2 have it turn out this way. Thanx 4 the newz!!
  20. I don't think FP acted in a bad way. If Trey did that 4 real, it would have been very cocky...very Bow Wow like.
  21. Congratz!! Yesterday waz actually my 1st day of being the Store Manager at work. I'm at the top of the foodchain...and it feels really good. I got alot of changes and new ideas on the horizon that whild maximize business. It's nothing less than a miracle when u see something like this come 2 pass.
  22. Ha ha...Brakes, i don't think that the R-N-B singer/Actor Jason Weaver. Unless he aged like 30 years over nite. It's gotta be another Jason Weaver. Thanx 4 posting this!!
  23. That newz is hilarious. Like father like son. Parent's Just Don't Understand.
  24. I didn't know that about Jada either. It's hard 2 see her that way. It just goes 2 show how people are put in other people's lives 2 make this world a better place. It think it's also a good example of how one cuz shed their past mistakes and make themselves new again...and how FP can overlook her past. I had a girlfriend with a yucky past and at times it waz hard 2 get over...but that's cuz it waz still a part of her, which i found out later. Props 2 them both. I might have 2 look this issue up.
