  1. Yeah, Run's team won last nite. I love this show. Every aspect of it is right up my ally.
  2. TALIB KWELI - We Got The Beat Beautiful Struggle (2004)
  3. I love Dr. Dre...but i don't see why people are expecting it 2 be that good. Look at the people he is surrounding himself with. They don't have any talent. I'm hoping it turns out good, but Busta Rhymes is the only talented Hip-Hop artists who he would be working with. Dre hardly writes any of his own stuff any more and even if he produces all his own beats, he's lowered he standards greatly.
  4. For those who missed the memo...we aren't putting up easy-2-find trax 4 download. Go out and get the Shark Tale soundtrack. It's easy 2 find and at a decent price.
  5. SPEECH - What You Give The Vagabond (2005) Dope song...check it...and thank me later. :)
  6. Yeah, i think we all learn about new music and other stuff by being a part of this eclectic mix. I've spent about 7 years here...what i wast of time. Ha ha...jus' playin.'
  7. I didn't think there waz a video for "My Adidas." I don't ever remember seeing it, and i have 100's of videos on tape decaying in my basement. I just ran upstairs and looked at my Run-DMC "Ultimate Run-DMC" CD and the bonus DVD dosen't have a video for "My Adidas."
  8. Turntable, The Realest waz picked up by Deathrow only becuz he TRIED 2 sound like 2Pac. He tried 2 write and spit exactly like him. Deathrow waz trying 2 save their butts since they lost all their real talent. His entire existence waz 2 copy 2Pac in every way possible. Real recognize real...and that's why that fake rapper fell off. He waz even worse than Gorilla Black.
  9. Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit beat suck!! Eminem has had drop beats (or lyrics) since 2000. Dr. Dre hardly produces any more. He's got skillz, but his in-house producers aren't anywhere near his level. And he's not that concerned with making quality beats anymore. G-Unit's stuff is always watered down. FP can shine on anything, but having trendy, cookie cutter beats like that would be embarassing.
  10. Yeah, there's people who are on FP's level and people who have really good chemistry with him. Then there's the kinda people on the Bad Boys soundtrack. Mary J. Blige is the only real stand out talent...and that song waz just a song that didn't make her Love + Life album. Fat Joe did a good track 4 it...Justin Timberlake did an okay song 4 it. But pretty much every other artist sucked. Even M.O.P.'s song waz weak compared 2 their usual stuff. That G-Unit influence will drain your talent anytime.
  11. This will go nowhere. Deathrow died with 2Pac and Snoops departure. And The Realest didn't do anything 4 the label. Nobody even knew about him. His ONLY existence waz 2 bite 2Pac's style, lyrics, and voice. He waz one of the biggest jokes ever. Suge's 10 year late Deathrow East idea is so silly. We'll watch it fall flat on it's face. I can't believe Un came outta retirement 2 help him out...especially since Deathrow has all the qualities of a label that he didnt' wanna have 2 deal with.
  12. LL COOL J + JENNIFER LOPEZ - Control Myself Todd Smith (2006) I just got the promo single...lovin' it. Next up... BLACK EYED PEAS - Don't Phunk With My Heart (Chicago House Remix) Monkey Business + Don't Phunk... Import CD Single (2005)
  13. Yeah, all of FP's stuff is under his own publishing. I'm not sure sure the music business works with that kinda thing. U'll see some "Best of..." and "Greatest Hits" albums that only have an artists' best music from their current or former record label. For instance, Snoop Dogg's new "Best of..." album has none of his Deathrow stuff on it, which is crazy cuz half of his biggest hits were while he waz on Deathrow. The combination of his music being under his own publishing AND his cash flow make it so that he should have no problems using his stuff on Columbia for future "Greatest Hits" projects.
  14. BUSTA RHYMES + A TRIBE CALLED QUEST - Wild Hot Rhyme + Reason Soundtrack (1997)
  15. I think "Shake Ya Tailfeather" is a fun pop rap song...but i would never want FP alongside Puffy, Nelly, + Murphy Lee. Some of those lyrics were straight wack...and none of them are even close 2 FP's level.
  16. LL COOL J - The Truth Hush Import Single (2004)
  17. Thanx 4 posting this. I'll probably pick this up. There's nothing else going on in Hip-Hop... well, 4 the most part.
  18. LL COOL J - Fa Ha 10 (2002) This has got 2 be the illest song 2 ride out 2!! I can't wait 2 get my "Control Myself" promo in the mail...i can't keep the "Were Gonna Make It" promo outta my CD player.
  19. Yeah, i'm losing some respect for Busta since he's not talking. I think it's cool that he kept G-Unit out of the video tho.' And i hope the person/people responsable 4 this are caught.
  20. I think it's cool that FP did a spanish and korean version of this song. The subject matter is timeless and colorless...so it's cool he did differnt versions of it. I 4get if both of these other versions or just one of them have totally re-recorded raps from FP. Same lyrics...just re-recorded.
  21. BILL WITHERS - Lean On Me: The Best of... (2000) (da album)
  22. EN VOGUE - Giving Him Something He Can Feel Funky Divas (1992)
  23. Yeah, the end of 2003 kinda rocked me, things started getting better, then in late 2004, it happened all over again. Since then, i fixed my life (not that 2 much waz really that messed up personally) and things started going pretty good. However, this past fall, some things started getting stressful, but it looks like all that's working out now. So i'm really looking forward 2 what's in store.
