  1. JAMIE FOXX (aka Trail Mix-Alot) - Baby's Got Snacks (((In Living Color parody of Sir-Mix-Alot's "Baby Got Back")))
  2. I'm definitly a "Yes." But i follow where my heart leads me, and for the last 2 or 3 years, it hasn't been rapping so much.
  3. She may be showing skin...but it's tasteful. She's not dressed trashy and posing all slutty. Look at Lil' Kim's promo pix...there's no similarities.
  4. JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT - BareNaked Barenaked - (2002)
  5. I waz writing when i waz 12 (now i'm 25). I never took it very seriously or tried 2 take it anywhere. I don't write very often and haven't for awhile...but i always get urges 2 get back in 2 it. My cousin and former potna in rhyme called me just last week about writing 2gether and recording stuff. I freestyle when i'm in the car or around the house doin' stuff. Since i'm not acting as much these days, i could see myself letting the emcee within take me over within a matter of months.
  6. Yeah, it's been playing 4 awhile...but i hadn't seen the video until last week...which is when i finally found out who sang it. I've heard the song alot...but it hasn't gotten old yet. The video 2 classy 2. Very cinematic.
  7. Thanx 4 sharing those...she's gorgous. And some of u need 2 get some class and talk about Miss Ali in a more respectful way.
  8. I'm wit u!! "How Da Beat Goes" waz a sure-fire hit. It covers all the things FP waz about at the time...not 2 mention being a great song that deserved a bright summery music video. Born To Reign would have easily went platnium with that as the 1st single. I also agree that "Tell Me Why" and "Lost + Found" should be singles. Lyrically they are flawless and the production is perfect 4 the subject matter on each song.
  9. It's been playing on the radio 4 awhile...and it still tugs at my heart every time i hear it. For those of u who've never heard the song. Peep the song "So Sick" by Neyo. He's a 22 year old R-N-B artist. This joint reminds me of 90's R-N-B. It's where R-N-B meets Soul meets real songwriting...wrapped up in a package that mainstream radio is embracing. His album is titled In My Own Words and it comes out February 28. This song take me back a year ago when my girlfriend of nearly 5 years up and left. Many of u have probably heard it...so i waz just wondering what some other people were thinkin' about this song. I'm not sure if he's hit overseas...but i can safely assume Brakes would be with me on this guy. Check it!
  10. Sounds interesting...i'll have 2 pick that up. Thanx 4 posting.
  11. I could never see the song as a single. I just don't see it as a huge hit or a song that can be easily marketed. Usually i can envision a video when i hear any song...but not 2 much with this song.
  12. This track is so dope...i just keep listening 2 it non-stop. Thanx 4 putting it up 4 me Turntable. This is what Hip-Hop is about. Mary Mary is one of my favorite groups...so this colabo is amazing 2 me. Watch out trash-rappers...LL's comin' back. This is what Hip-Hop should be.
  13. JOHN MAYER - Heavier Things (2003) (da album)
  14. I don't think any new rappers have a chance at getting any respect from real Hip-Hop fans. These cats like Julz Santana just don't it...period. Listen 2 Lost + Found or Who Is Kel Spencer....they just don't have anything on that.
  15. I've seen the trailor and this movie looks amazing. I haven't been excited about OutKast's music since the mid-90's. I like them, but their 1st album waz dope...and nothing since then has been comparable. This is one of few movies i actually wanna see so far this year. I can't wait 2 see this movie.
  16. I've never really felt Biggie. I just don't think he's really any good. No disrespect. But i'm not gonna jump on the band wagon just cuz he waz killed...like most fans do. FP gives him props, but i don't see how a song with the 2 of them would make that much sense. And lets be real, even if u are a fan of Biggie's...who would say that any of this albums after the 1st 2 were any good. That Duets CD is an embarassment 2 Biggie and his camp. For some weird reason (Jagged Edge, Faith, Mary J. Blige, Bone, Missy, Bobby Valentino), i picked it up and i haven't listened 2 it since.
  17. Hey Brakes...that's a club banger from MH that he did in late 2004. It's a dope song...however, the Ying Yang Twinz are on it. I'm not sure if it waz intended for his current album Naked...but as far as i know, there are no plans 2 release it. COLOR ME BADD - Time And Chance Time And Chance (1993) Love this song!!
  18. MARQUES HOUSTON - The Jump Off (Unreleased - Promo) (2004)
  19. Y'all crazy. That joint is old school. It's just a fun way 2 play off their 1st hit. I guess if u weren't down with the album when it waz newer, it would come off kinda weird, but i never looked the song that way. How about the other old fans?
  20. MATISYAHU - Live At Stubb's (da album) (2005)
  21. Yeah, that track with Busta Rhymes is called "It's A Party."
