Timbaland's "Here We Come" is a dope track. That waz actually a single/video back in 1998...the 1st off his solo album. While we are on the topic of FP/Timbaland samples. Timbo also sampled the I Dream of Genie theme on that album (just like "Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble). It's dope. I think alot of FP fans would like Timbaland + Magoo's stuff. Their albums are amoungst my favs when it comes 2 new school stuff. "Here He Comes" is dope album opener, but it may be my least fav track on the album. That's the 1st time that the JJ+FP track on a solo album waz my least fav. I don't think "Chosen One" would be a good album opener tho'...it's just 2 slow and sluggish. It would be a good intro 2 a mixtape tho.'

I think it would be stupid 2 shun the album. I just think it should be used in moderation. After visiting various message boards over the years, there are alot of fans who lean more towards R-N-B and Pop music who love the album. Born To Reign, Act Like You Know, How Da Beat Goes, Give Me Tonite, and Momma Knows are amoungst the best trax FP had done. It would be an insult 2 FP and his fans 2 pretend the album didn't happen.

BLACK EYED PEAS - My Humps (Lil Jon Remix) (((don't know))) (2005) Don't let Lil' Jon's name scare u away from peeping this remix. IT'S DOPE!! It reminds me of his production in the 90's...which waz mostly bass music...not dirty south crap.

Wes waz the computer brains behind the site...and see his post above...ha ha. We talked about updating it months ago but the password thing got in the way. I don't do the whole webdesign thing so i wouldn't be able 2 do it on the solo tip. I haven't peeped it in ages...i guess i'll check out the time warp that is the Will Smith Fan Domain.

JOHN MAYER - Why Georgia Room For Squares (2001)

Kanye has a big mouth and becuz of that...it's easy 4 him 2 contradict himself. I don't even take him seriously. His new single with Adam Levine might be dope...but that's all he's got going 4 himself these days.

I watch it once in awhile...usually on Throwback Thursdays. It's just polluted with so much trash...since that's mostly what comes out these days. They did play "Switch" tho'...just not very often. And while u mentioned Big Tigger, i just gotta say that he's one of my favorite Hip-Hop personalities. I hope he's still working on an album cuz he dose have crazy skillz. Oh yeah, and JJ+FP waz on the show in 2000. My VCR didn't tape it so missed the 2nd half.

RUN-D.M.C. - Rock Box (B-Boy Mix) (self-titled) Remastered 2005 (1984)

U actually think the Bad Boys II soundtrack is good?!? What have u been smoking?!? The best soundtrax 2 his movies are Bad Boys, Men In Black, Wild Wild West, Ali, and Hitch. Made In America's highlights are JJ+FP, Silk + Keith Sweat, Ben E. King, and the jazz artist who's name is slipping my mind. Bad Boys II's only redeeming trax were by Mary J. Blige, and dare i say it, Justin Timberlake. "Shake Ya Tailfeather" waz fun...but it waz still meaningless party pop by talent-lacking rappers. Even M.O.P.'s track waz nowhere near their usual level of quality.

It's been awhile since i sent u any CDs with rare stuff 2 share with people. If u have no luck getting it, i'll send a copy soon.

When the Ying Yang Twins get 2 meet FP, i hope they bring a translator.

Flava Flav has been working on a solo album for nearly a decade. He even released a single a few years back. There were only 2 copies of it and i planned on getting it, but it sold out. I haven't seen it since. I think his solo album will come out if he's serious about it. If PE can get albums out, Flav can...especially with all the exposure he gets from VH-1 with Surreal Life, Strange Love, and his new show.

Thanx 4 posting that. SMC came 2 me cuz he came across my list of JJ+FP non-album music. I asked him 2 post it here b4 i sent burning it from vinyl 2 CD and then putting it on my computer...THEN sending it 2 him. U just saved me alot of time.

What i don't understand is how Nelly can shout out FP like that, 50 Cent can shout out Rakim, and so on...but their music is trash. If they admire real emcees, why don't they attempt 2 make music on that level. I'd like 2 read the actual interview if u can point me in the right direction. Thanx 4 posting this.

Code Red may me alot of people's favorite album, but FP called it a weak album. And i think the east coast production/west coast vocal recordings were part of his reasoning. That's the only JJ+FP album that JJ+FP didn't put 2gether themselves. Besides, when u think of Teddy Riley, Pete Rock, and Dallas Austin, they were on the same vibe as JJ+FP. I love the Neptunes and i'd love 2 hear FP work with them...but not on a JJ+FP album. It's no surprise that Willennium is the best WS album, cuz Jazzy and A Touch of Jazz dominated it.

KEL SPENCER - Statin' Facts Who Is Kel Spencer? (2005)

My overall thing is this. After opinions are stated and different emcees and rappers are compared, it comes down 2 one main thing 2 me. Who has heart? When 2Pac, Fresh Prince, LL Cool J, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Kel Spencer and Chuck D write a rhyme, where are they going with it? They are doing it 4 da love of da game. They are expressing ideas and trying 2 make better...or at least make since of life and the world. When they aren't doing that, they are entertaining us, rocking the mic, or making quality music. But where is the heart in alot of commerical rap? 50 Cent isn't trying 2 make anyone think. Kanye West isn't trying 2 take his skillz 2 the next level. Ludacris isn't changing the world. Puffy isn't helping a hopless soul get thru' 1 more day. They don't care about art. They just care about making money and being famous. Without heart...without love, without a desire 2 create something incredible...u don't have Hip-Hop....u have commercial rap. U can like all J-Kwon's and G-Units u like. That's fine with me. Just don't try 2 tell me that Lil Jon is doing the same thing that Common Sense is doing. I'm not stuck in a time warp...i just won't settle 4 less than good music by talented artists. And most of the time, u won't find that on the charts or on the radio.
