  1. Tim, i think u make this post every year at this time...ha ha.
  2. MADONNA - Hung Up Confessions On A Dance Floor (2005)
  3. I've been keepin' it old skool. I 4get the style, but it's the same style Nokia that i got when i got my 1st cellphone in 1997. In between the style i have now, i had this really awful one that looked like it waz designed in the 80's. While i love my retro style phone, i think i'm gonna actually get something more current within the next month. I'm not cellphone-dependant like alot of people. It's just tyme 4 something new. Since i left my phone on the roof of my car 2 weeks ago and started driving down my driveway and the phone flew off it, the battery hasn't been conneting 2 the phone that good...ha ha.
  4. Import CD singles are always priced high. After all, that's why they aren't available in the US.
  5. Not a surprise. No promotion, no hype. It makes alot of sense 2 wait.
  6. GINUWINE - She's Like Back II Da Basics (2005)
  7. Thanx 4 posting that. No disrespect, but who in their right mind thinks Big Pun could ever be considered as one of the greatests?
  8. I didn't vote cuz i didn't see an option that liked. My vote is this. Yes, "Tell Me Why" is gonna drop....and that's it. Interscope isn't backing FP...but it'll come out one way or another.
  9. Don't even consider going 4 an old skool JJ+FP shirt for over $25. They are kinda rare, but they pop up online all the time. The funny thing is, when i saw this one in stores, they were a few years old at the time and were on sale 4 only $2. The only reason i never got 'em when i 1st saw them is cuz they wern't baggy enough 4 me.
  10. This is me when i waz 13 or 14 (1993/1994). One of my friends waz looking thru' my old pictures and said i looked like a supporting character on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air...so i figured i'd share it with u guys. This is me...Code Red style.
  11. That's crazy...i remember seeing that shirt when it waz still in music stores!! I actually went 2 get it YEARS ago from the store that carried them and they were all out.
  12. I don't know how many times JJ+FP waz on RapCity, but they were. They were on it in 2000 about the time that "So Fresh" came out. I had 2 go 2 work so i tried 2 tape it...but it didn't work. I waz crushed. JJ+FP waz totally in their element there and i missed it.
  13. I almost brought up the fact that he didn't mention Snoop...but didn't. So i'm with u on that. And the way it's written is very weird. I don't see Bow Wow talking like that.
  14. That's crazy. It's hard 4 me 2 believe that Bow Wow said that tho.' I always thought he had better taste and more smarts than 2 say and think something like that. I don't think i'll bother believing this until i see a legit source.
  15. MARIAH CAREY - Don't Forget About Us The Emancipation of Mimi (Special Edition) (2005) I can't wait til the new version of her album is released...this song is amazing!! Video is great 2.
  16. After BET's 25th Anniversary Special, they had an After Party special. During it, they interviewed the orignal host of BET's Rap City. He said the day the show was truley born waz when FP told the people behind the show "Don't give him (Chris) a prompter, just let him flow with it." I thought that that waz really cool.
  17. Thanx 4 sharing. Quincy Jones is probably the single most-respected person in music. Quincy knows Hip-Hop. Whenver he has emcees on his albums, he has people like Melle Mel, Big Daddy Kane, Heavy D, LL Cool J, and so on. Not 2 mention working with JJ+FP for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and being cool with 2Pac (after their beef).
  18. Floetry is back! DJ Jazzy Jeff helped get them out there and his A Touch of Jazz production took their debut album 2 a level of quality most artists never reach in their career. In the fall of 2003, they released a live album that included 3 new trax produced by former ATOJ producers Keith "Keshon" Pelzer and Darren "Limitless" Henson. Well, DJ Jazzy Jeff and his current A Touch of Jazz crew have nothing 2 do with the new project, but it's still Philly soul and it features new trax from former A Touch of Jazzers Keith Pelzer and Darren Henson. They new album is dope. It has the same Philly soul u'd expect along with a few slicker produced beats. Keith and Darren worked on the trax Blessed 2 Have, Let Me In, Lay Down, and Sometimes U Make Me Smile. In the credits, Darren either changed his nickname to "Limited" or it waz a typo...which seems more likely. Anyway, every single beat is dope. There's stuff 2 nod ya head 2 and stuff 2 just chill 2. The vocals are great and the lyrics are simply reality poured in2 music. Anyone who is a fan of Jill Scott, Musiq, Glenn Lewis, Kenny Lattimore, and so on, NEEDS 2 cop this album. U won't be disappointed. If u get it this week, Circuit City and Target both have it for $10.
  19. FLOETRY - Blessed 2 Have Flo'Ology (2005) p.s. That's a dope track, Jonny!
  20. I got it. It features "Getting Jiggy Wit It," "Switch" and "Yo! Home To Bel-Air." The set opens with FP being brought out 2 looped beat sampling him saying "The champ is here!" from ALI. Jazzy steps up the plates, they show Philly love, then rock the house. The set is short but sweet. I'm not a fan of most of the artists on it, but i would still call the DVD set worth the price of $24.98. I'm pretty sure it'll be $30-$40 after this week (when it's no longer on sale).
