Man, i'm all about tying songs 2 certain times and places. ROCK THE HOUSE (album) - i just remember listening 2 this album late nite at my cousin crib in da basement. Old skool Hip-Hop at it's best. Just crazy DJing and rapping. SUMMERTIME - Man, the monumental moment when i heard this song waz at my cousin's crib. We were watching a late nite TV show that aired music videos. It waz summertime and we were already JJ+FP fans...so when they aired it, history waz made. But this song represents every single summer after it dropped. I'm so sensative about the summertime and this song has always been playing. HOMEBASE - Man, this album just represents the early 90's 2 perfection. Hip-Hop meets dancable club beats. Homebase waz just what life waz all about. CODE RED - This is just a dope autumn/winter album. It takes me back 2 late middle skool. I played it for YEARS in heavy rotation. MEN IN BLACK - I remember the 1st time i heard this song. It waz years after FP said he waz retiring from recording. All of a sudden it came on the radio when i waz driving thru' downtown. I lost my freakin' mind!! I also think about the soundtrack and the entire summer, cuz i couldn't stop playing the song. And when i did, it waz on the radio. BIG WILLIE STYLE (album) - This entire album just represents my senior year in high skool. I think about the other music at the time, i think about high skool life, i think about the girl i dated and the people i hung out with. It also represents the following year 4 me. YES YES Y'ALL - This waz one of the BWS songs i heard on the radio b4 the album dropped. But it waz also the song playing in the background when i shared my 1st kiss with my last girlfriend (in 2001). BOY YOU KNOCK ME OUT - I think about my 1st semester at college, the way i got really involved with theater and the way life waz back then. Freedom, friends, new enviornment. WILLENNIUM - Man, i got this album just b4 some hard times hit me. I just remember how the sound of the album catered 2 me perfectly. I also had people like Tim established as real online friends at the time so it waz a very mixed kinda time. THE MAGNIFICENT - Summertime, quality music that just didn't get old. I got a promo copy of the album 4 months b4 it dropped so it waz also crazy exciting 2 have my hands on 4 so long. BORN TO REIGN (album) - It waz just a crazy, fun, laidback summer. While the music waz a big surprise, that's the same reason i tie it in with that summer. LOST + FOUND (album) - Another album at the right time. This album dropped at a very hard time 4 me. So just putting it in kinda distracted me from the gritty reality that i waz going thru.' I might post more songs l8er.

MC HAMMER - Sunshine Brakes, is that an unathorized remix? Cuz Lauryn Hill isn't on that track?!?

I don't know if Big Tigger is on that video game. But he waz a huge radio personality in MD for the 90's. Then he started doing BET's Rapcity and lots of other things. He was supposed 2 release an album somewhere in the 2003/2004 area, but i haven't heard any news on it in a long time. He's got skillz on the mic. I just love Big Tigger. He's just one of the coolest cats in the business. Free's album waz actually supposed 2 come out last March or something like that. I haven't heard any news on her album in a long time. The only commerical song i think she is on is the opening track on The Fighting Temptations soundtrack with Beyonce, Missy, and MC Lyte.

I didn't click that link...but i read a week or 2 ago from one of the people in his crew saying that it's most likely over and that we can expect a DVD 2 be released with the skits that they taped so far. I liked the show alot, but i had a feeling it waz ending soon 4 some reason. It waz a struggle 2 get him 2 do the 3rd season in the 1st place.

Big Tigger is the freakin' man. He's just one of those cool, positive, funny guys that anyone can releate 2. In the 90's, he used 2 host shows here in MD on the DC Hip-Hop and R-N-B radio stations. I couldn't believe it when he got on BET, it waz like watching one of your friends make it.

Cool...feels good 2 know someone can vibe off something i said.

I don't think 106 + Park is that bad of a show...other than some of the crap that gets on the countdown. I love Free. At 1st i didn't like AJ, but now i like him alot. I could see this coming tho.' They have gotten really popular. AJ now has his own sitcom and Free is doing a lil' acting as well as recording an album. They did big things establishing the show and now it's time 4 them 2 move on. Hopefully they don't tank when finding new hosts.

The link didn't work 4 me, but here's what i have 2 say...going by what has been posted so far. This isn't anything new. Kids have been living stupidly and being influenced by ignorant older people 4 years. People need 2 step up and be parents...and many people don't need 2 be having kids in the 1st place. I remember being in 8th grade, and there waz this guy i didn't get along with at all. Even worse, we both had a crush on the same girl. At 13 years old, alot of people are careless and don't think. There waz a day when he brought a gun 2 skool and i just remember thinkin' i had 2 watch my back all day. Nothing happened, but it waz still a really uncomfortable situation. That waz like 5 years before Columbine. It always takes a big event 2 happen 2 draw attention 2 something that has always been going on.

This topic is so old...i can't believe it's still generating posts. FP has been doing the Ozzfest thing for months.

We are really off topic by now...but i think EVERY 2Pac album release should have been 1 disc of original remastered trax, and a bonus disc of new remixed versions of the songs...if they felt they had 2 re-mix all that stuff.

WARREN G - Streets of LBC

One of my friends from outta town popped in 2day and wanted me 2 see this movie. Since he has 2 leave 2morrow i agreed 2 go see it. There are definitly some funny moments, and a few moments were the story is good but i really wazn't that impressed. I thought the whole thing waz very average...just above average at best.

Truth be told...those Eminem beats suck!! 2...maybe 3 of them were okay, the rest were garbage. 2Pac would never write 2 wack beats like that. Loyal To The Game is a crappy album ONLY becuz of Eminem's production. The album didn't do 2 well 4 a 2pac album, that's cuz 2Pac fans were discusted in the quality of it.

I don't know if there waz a video for "Get Crunk Shorty"...i just know i've seen promos 4 it. I think the song is kinda average tho'...i like most of the album better than that track. It waz released 2 or 3 months after "Gigilo." Since the show airs on MTV, it probably airs almost once a day. Just check mtv.com. It's definitly worth checking out.

Have y'all seen Wild 'N Out?!? I love this show!! This show is crazy. This show is right up my ally. Hip-Hop comedy, freestyle, improv...this show is a dream come true 2 me.

Yeah, i don't think this post should always be about what's wrong with life...cuz there is so much right with life at the same time. I have a good story or 2 to share about what is right with life. I'll post them very soon.

Another person 2 keep in mind. Here's something that amazed me this morning. I was sitting in church this morning, b4 the service started. And there were a group of people that just kept talking (just like everyone else). However, it just kinda annoyed me that someone could be so happy and upbeat in the morning. Anyways, they started the service a few minutes later and made an announcement that made me feel awful 4 being so selfish for being mad at people for being so happy. The pastor announced that the family that waz talking so loud just minutes ago, had a son who has some untitled disease. For years they made lots of hospital trips and kept seeing doctors who couldn't determine what his problem was and how 2 fix it. But just this week, seeing the last doctor in the tri-state area that they never had a meeting with, he found out how to treat that young guy's condition. I looked at the family and just saw it in their faces how happy they were and i could only imagin how their lives were rejuvinated after this past week. The power of prayer is an amazing thing. Even when u think a situation is hopeless, life can be turned around is just one moment.
