  1. The JJ+FP hotline was in the And In This Corner... cassette/CD insert.
  2. There are all different kinds of Hip-Hop. But originality, being yourself, and sharing your life with others thru' music is what makes real Hip-Hop 2 me. 3. As cool as that would be, i'd have 2 go with no.
  4. I've had the promo w/ the Radio Edit 4 awhile...and i never listen 2 it. I STRONGLY gotta go with the album version still.
  5. I called it back in 1991...but they stopped using it at that point.
  6. The remixes is are great 2. I remember freakin' out when i saw JJ+FP "Greatest Hits" in stores....cuz i had no idea they even had one in the works. When i saw that "Lovely Daze" waz on it, along with the Megamix, i lost my mind. Nothing like hearing a new JJ+FP song outta no where.
  7. Everyone is dissing 50 Cent...so all this is irrelavant 2 me. However, i definitly will check it out. I don't see this boosting 50's record sales at all...only Nas.'
  8. No, u're not understanding me. It's stupid 2 not allow anyone 2 get close 2 u. I'm just saying that u need 2 learn who 2 let close 2 u and who not 2. If there is a reason 2 believe someone might not be there when u need them, then stay cool with them, just don't let them get 2 close. I have lots of friends who are very close 2 me. Infact, i don't know what i'd do without them. It's been a very painful year 4 me. If it wazn't for a few of my close friends, i don't know where i'd be right now.
  9. I just finished up a 12 hour cleaning spree. In the last 12 hours, i listened 2 nothing but reggae and dancehall. Shaggy, Diana King, Sean Paul, Shabba Ranks, Kevin Lyttle, Snow, Born Jamaricans.
  10. I don't think i've really had many friends sell me out. I've had friends repeatedly cancel plans on me. But i'm good at letting the right people get close 2 me. Nobody really backstabs me, lies or anything like that. However, about 3 months ago, one of the theaters i work at had alot of problems with people being egotistical and acting really stupid. The one director gave a speech about how some people need 2 grow up or move on and leave. 2 people who i consider my friends started telling people that me and my really good friend were who he waz talking about. However, the 2 of us weren't even in the current show...we just showed up 4 the meeting. On top of that, we both got asked 2 do the next show (b4 auditions) and also got casted in lead parts while the 2 backstabbers got smaller parts. I still didn't hold it against them. I do my best 2 forgive and forget...i just don't allow them 2 get close again after doing stuff like that. Man, this post has me in the mood 2 pop in TLC's "What About Your Friends"...then "Case of The Fake People."
  11. Even if the board is a bit slower...it's summertime. For those of us who have 80 degree weather outside, we are gonna be outside and enjoying the summertime....not wasting our day sitting in front of the computer.
  12. I don't really think they are that similar. "Switch" has a much harder thump 2 it. Lots of other songs have that same Hip-Hop/Dancehall feel.
  13. Willennium is his best album in my opinion. Sure, it needs a lil' tweeking with trax like "Freakin' It" and "Da Butta" but i think that it's where his is most at home. Next up i like Lost + Found. My only problem with it is that he comes off a lil' forced on a few trax. The production isn't nearly as solid as most of Willenium. Big Willie Style is just a great mainstream Hip-Hop album with some Hollywood flashyness 2 it. I still think it's important 2 give Born To Reign props tho.' I love the lyrics on that album. The musical experiment aren't what we all wanted, but u gotta respect him 4 doing what he wanted and not what waz "hot."
  14. MARY MARY - In The Morning For those who like Mary Mary, their new album just dropped last Tuesday. I'm hoping 2 get it 2day.
  15. SOUL IV REAL + HEAVY D - Love You So (Remix)
  16. I have 2 go with Lost + Found...but just by a lil' bit. Big Willie Style is a great album, different flavas, very mainstream at times but with tight lyrics and beats that often are good, but don't upstage the lyrics. Lost + Found is a lil' more free and down 2 earth...it's not as sugar coated. The overall vibe is just stronger. I still strongly believe that Willennium is easily his best solo album tho.'
  17. That's just discusting. Marilyn Mason goes in2 that category of people who simply a waste of human life.
  18. Well, there is a common sense rule of putting posts where they belong. That's why the other boards exist. For instance, THIS would be the wrong place 4 THIS post.
  19. Nah, we used 2 have more forums. It's 2 much 2 keep up with. It just splits everyone up. We have all the JJ+FP topics are covered and we have the off-topic board 4 eveything else.
  20. My friend's grandmother actually thinks "U Saw My Blinker" is hilarious. I can't believe he played that 4 her.
